One Piece: Reborn as Enel

Amazing cover made by Lord Valmar, who has somehow managed to make a great cover for all the books of mine that he's read :))) Huge thanks to him and his pp is humongous~! ___________________________________ Alexander Nikolia, is a person of many talents, a genius in the eyes of many. After a bizarre string of events, he ends up getting reincarnated into his favourite anime into the body of one of the most underutilized overpowered villains in the story. The world was bound to change in some way, whether that change is positive or not... That's up for interpretation really.

Powerful Encirclement and Waning Stamina

_________ POV Narration_________

While Francisco was toying around with the Beast Pirates, Enel was still struggling against the numerous opponents he was facing.

His cloud-making machine at least helped gather and create clouds quickly, which kept Sengoku occupied, so that was one Yonko-level fighter less to take care of.

The problem was that all the others were still annoying.

Still, after so much dodging around and fighting, most of the CP agents were either dead or dying. The pacifists were also mostly destroyed, as only around 200 of them remained.

Now, Enel could've easily taken care of them if he was to start recklessly attacking, but that would've killed plenty of marines, which was certainly something that Garp wouldn't agree with.

Enel also somewhat liked the positive relationship he had with the Marines currently, which was why he was fighting defensively mostly.

He only acted to take out Kizaru, as he was the only person on that battlefield that could keep up with him when it came to speed.

With Kizaru gone, the rest of the marines were stuck with trying to predict and cut off Enel's paths, hoping to make the best of their masters of Observation Haki, like Tokikake, who constantly used future sight to track Enel's actions.

The problem came with the fact that Enel was also a master of Mantra/Observation Haki, so they were in a full stalemate.

Dodging Enel's attacks was also difficult, Enel didn't really use his devil fruit to throw lightning beams, which would've been somewhat easier to dodge.

Much like the way he had caught Kizaru off guard, Enel fought in a tricky manner.

He took full advantage of the fact that he could manipulate metals and had seastone, leading to Aramaki also being booted from the fight in a violent manner.

The collar he had placed on Aramaki was somewhat special as well, it was extremely hard to remove.

Too thin and tight around the neck to be grasped properly, too tough to be broken easily by flexing the neck. Enel had actually designed that for when he was to eventually face someone like Kaido.

He wanted to be prepared for all situations, he didn't think he'd be using them so soon though...

Aramaki was completely stuck without being able to use his devil fruit thanks to it.

In retrospect, Enel could've tried to catch the others like that as well.

But the problem was that it was unlikely he'd be able to recover the seastone and materials from the collars, so he had to use them sparingly.

And so, after so much fighting and dodging around, Enel was somewhat annoyed that the Revolutionary Army had yet to fully flee Baltigo.

'They seem to be loading up as many books as possible...'

The library of Baltigo was vast, it was clear to Enel that the Revolutionaries were taking advantage of the fact that he was holding back the invasion.

At least that was what Enel assumed. The non-fighters were already off the island from what he was able to tell, but a majority of the soldiers were loading up various crates with books and other items.

Enel assumed that the manuscripts for the Poneglyphs were loaded up on the very first blimp that left the island, so he wasn't exactly worried about losing them.

But as Enel dodged more and more, he ran into another issue... Stamina.

It wasn't like he had trained his entire life and had endless stamina to constantly throw around lightning.

Sure, he could still fight, but he didn't have a lot left in the tank.

Creating that gigantic Lightning Dragon earlier without any clouds took a lot out of him, and it had to be used up quickly as well.

'... I was planning to rush to the Holy Land after this, but I guess I'll have to postpone it after this...'

After all, this attack had left the World Government's base scarcely defended, the only people that were likely present there were some stronger members of the CP and Kong.

Enel wasn't afraid of any of them. IM was also a factor, but if anything, Enel was confident in his speed.

'Even if IM would be able to kill me, I can always dodge an attack or run away... But I won't be able to attack the Holy Land while too tired to blink.'

Currently, Enel figured he'd try something, as he realized that the situation was becoming more and more difficult for him with each passing second.

Enel appeared in front of Akainu, who greeted him with a magma fist to the face.

The Lighting Emperor's head was seemingly blown apart, reforming in the next second as Enel smiled at Akainu through the Magma.

"You can't burn me, Akainu..." Enel's words rang into the Fleet Admiral's ears, as more and more magma covered his body.

"I think we both can see that this isn't going anywhere, Fleet Admiral," Enel said as he shook his arms, patting the magma off of his body without any issue.

"... I don't like this either. But we can't retreat right now... We received orders to destroy this island completely, and take out any revolutionary inside..." Akainu didn't stop trying to submerge Enel in magma as he spoke.

"So we're just going to keep banging heads here? I think it's become quite clear that you guys won't get past me with this invasion..."

"Hmph... You're saying that, but your movements are becoming more and more sluggish... How much longer do you think you'll be able to keep this up?" Akainu's words were accompanied by a glare.

Enel simply scowled, shaking the magma off of his body one last time and jumped backwards.

In that next instant, a yellow light flashed behind him, and he was forced to tilt his head to the side as he rolled around in the air dodging an extremely powerful and quick kick.

Enel had noticed Kizaru getting up, so he managed to react in time, but that didn't mean the situation was any better for him.

As he was dodging Kizaru's kick, a volley of bullets tried to cut him off in every direction.

He quickly turned into a bolt of lightning and flew off, one of the bullets lodging itself into his back as he fled to the clouds.

"Injuries are accumulating, huh Enel? Even if you are strong, there is a reason why no Yonko would ever face the entirety of the Navy alone..." Sengoku said as he directed one of his palms towards Enel, releasing a massive shockwave and pushing Enel in a different direction.

The Lightning Emperor shrugged off the shockwave, only to notice that he was sent flying towards Fujitora, who had been taking his time and floating up pieces of Metal in the air, both from ruined ships and from destroyed Pacifistas.

With a grunt, Fujotira seemed to send a purplish ball right at Enel's torso.

Enel turned to dodge immediately, only for his path to be once again cut off by a volley of bullets, light beams and black ice spears.

That ball hit Enel's leg, and the Lightning Emperor could only grunt as he felt that small ball of gravity pull him towards it.

And that powerful pull seemed to work on all of the nearby scraps as well, quickly attracting everything nearby.

Enel looked at the light for one last time before being covered completely, only one thought in his mind.

'I've already won this battle... The last blimp had left a few minutes ago... I'll take a few minutes to rest and then just fly off...'

With him in the middle, a giant ball of metal and ice formed in the sky. Spanning hundreds of meters and looking about as large as the meteor Fujitora had almost dropped on the island.

The Gravity Altering Admiral raised his hand towards that sphere, grasping as he compressed the man-made meteor into a 100-meter diameter sphere, making it look somewhat like a marble in its smoothness.

Sengoku then acted quickly, grasping that giant sphere in his palms and turning it completely black.

Fujitora then also landed on the ground, somewhat tired as he looked at the giant sphere he had created.

"Have we finally managed to contain him?" Fujitora said as he saw the Pacifistas start heading towards the island, still acting on the previous orders of their dead masters.

The few CP agents that remained also seemed to start making their way there.

"I wouldn't count on that..." Kizaru said as he looked at the sky with a wary gaze.

"I'd say he's unlikely to escape easily though... To think he's been holding us up here for three hours..." Akainu said as he looked at the Sphere with an angry gaze.

"This is already a loss for us... The Revolutionaries have already managed to flee the island, they even managed to grab their belongings..." Aokiji said as he froze the sea once more, allowing them to have a decent footing while speaking.

"... The orders from the base are still for all of us to head into the island..." Akainu said as he also started walking towards the island.

Gion was still unconscious, so she was left with Tokikake, as he tended to her.

Sengoku was still rooted in place, a giant golden statue holding onto a black sphere, trying to contain the emperor inside.

A nearby agent saw all of the marines heading for the island and smiled.

'It's almost time...'
