It's been around 2 months since I arrived at Marineford. So far I have quite enjoyed my time here even with the instructor being a lapdog of the World Government. Lance tried to have me, Dragon, and Gion join the World Government which did the opposite. Bastard promised us multiple things like berries, even a higher starting rank, and shit like that.

Luckily for us, we don't have to deal with him any longer since everyone will be graduating in two days from now. Although we three won't be getting any ranks due to us being too young. Even though we are more than strong enough, sadly there is nothing we can do about it.

Dragon was going to be under Garp's division and Gion's was going to be under her sister's division. For me, Sengoku is taking me under his division which I'm quite thankful for. Sengoku, when he had free time, would sometimes come to talk with me and help me out with training. Speaking of which

" System, display my stats."

I asked the system as all of my stats appeared in my head.

( Note: If two opponents have the same mastery in haki, who wins depends on whose haki is stronger. Having the same mastery doesn't mean they are equal. Also how strong someone's haki is has no connection to physical strength but rather their will and spirit. Take Hyorgoro, he can still use advanced armament haki even after getting weaker from age and malnutrition.)

(I know someone will say how come Whitebeard couldn't use haki properly during the war. First Whitebeard was old and was dying pretty much. I figured if Whitebeard didn't get sick, he would still be able to use haki for an extended time but it would most likely be weaker in comparison to his prime.)

( Second Note: I put myself into a corner by ranking the main character's strength. Don't take the character's strength ranking at face value. It's just a rough estimate of the mc's power)

' Huh, that's quite an improvement. But my Rokushiki skills are still quite low along with my haki as well.'

" That's because you only trained in three of the rokushiki and neglected the other techniques since you wanted to master all of the rokushiki techniques. I suggest after you master all of the rokushiki moves, you solely focus on what will help you the most in battle."

" As for haki, it mostly improves through battles and with age as well. You can train it but you will only see the minimum increase."

" I see, thanks for the advice."

I said back to the system as I thought about what it said. Hmm, I won't focus on kami-e and rankyaku as those two are useless to me in battle. I can already do sword slashes and I don't use my legs in a battle that much.

And kami-e is the worse version of observation haki. Even then I can barely use that due to how hard it is for me to learn. Although somehow Gion and one of the recruits managed to learn it.

My body is just too strong and isn't flexible enough to use kami-e in battle. That time I can use it is during training where I'm not in a life or death situation. Even then I can only do the simplest moves with it. The only reason I'm even learning it is due to Rokuogan.

' Alright, that's enough thinking for today.' I thought to myself as I slowly fell asleep.

Next Day

Marineford- Tsuru's House

" Hey, Gion, why did you make us come here? Won't Tsuru-san be mad at us? We are entering her house without her permission." Dragon said to Gion as we entered the kitchen.

" Nee-chan is away on a mission and won't return until our graduation ceremony. Besides, she gave me permission to use the house now that I'm about to graduate." Gion said as she got a bottle of sake and three cups from a cabinet.

( Note: In the previous chapters Gion used chan when talking about Tsuru which is a mistake on my part. It's Nee-chan which I'm too lazy to fix now. I honestly hate the titles but I know I will get hate if I don't use them. I saw like 10 comments on how I write the main character's name the wrong way in the first couple of chapters, lmao.)

My eyebrows raise as I notice what's going on. I looked at Gion asking her to explain why she brought sake even though I had an idea.

" I heard from Nee-chan that if three people drink sake, they become friends for life no matter what. She did this with Garp-san and Sengoku-san as well before they graduated."

" So I thought it would be nice if we did the same as well," Gion said with a smile brighter than the sun itself.

'Only a monster would say no to her smile.' I thought as I poured sake into the cups since Dragon agreed as well. We all took one of the cups and clinked them.

" Cheers"

We all said it at the same as we drank the sake.

" Ugh, that's so bitter," Gion said, not trying to throw up. Dragon just laughed as he didn't mind the taste of sake. I got some water for her which she drank quite fast. We decided to just relax and chill in the house since after today all of us will be quite busy.

Ten Minutes Later- Living Room

" Hey, Gion, why didn't Tsuru-san let you live in the house?" Dragon asked Gion. Something that I was always curious about. Gion was sitting next to me on the couch. And Dragon sat on his own couch on the other side of the room.

"It's because Nee-san wanted me to make friends and get used to the life of a marine. By the way, you two never told me why you guys joined the marines."

" Well, it's because I want to create a more gentle world. To be honest it's the dream of my mom and dad. I decided I would accomplish it after I saw some of the acts of pirates- that no humans are capable of doing. I don't know how I'm going to accomplish such a goal though. But I figured joining the marines will help me figure that out." I said to the two as I lied about the last part.

" That's a very kind and noble dream you have." Gion said to me in a shocked voice as Dragon nodded while having a thinking face. Gion for some reason decided to use my laps as a pillow. I told her no but she wouldn't take no for answer, something which by now I should have gotten used to. She's like Luffy as most of the time she won't take no for an answer due to her pride and personality.

" Since we are talking about this, what's your reason for becoming the Fleet Admiral," I asked Gion as she made herself comfortable in my lap.

" I guess I decided on that after I saw what the Celestial Dragons were doing in Sabaody. They were buying and using slaves as everyone watched. The worst thing is that we marines who were supposed to protect justice were allowing this."

" So I decided if I become the Fleet Admiral, I could outlaw slavery completely so not even Celestial Dragons would be allowed to buy any more slaves," Gion said.

Both me and Dragon looked at each other making sure we heard what Gion said correctly.

" Gion, make sure you don't tell anyone about this, even your older sister. Keep this a secret at all costs if you want to become the Fleet Admiral." Dragon said to Gion as I made sure Gion understood why.

Both me and Dragon understood even if Gion becomes the Fleet Admiral, she wouldn't be able to limit the powers of the Celestial Dragons. But we didn't want to crush Gion's dream so we didn't say anything. Rather we decided it's best we tell her later once she's more experienced and older. Both me and Dragon said all of this through eye contact due to our familiarity and connection.

" Dragon, what about you? You just stayed silent the whole time." I asked Dragon after I noticed he didn't say anything the whole time about his goals and dreams.

" I guess it's because I don't exactly have anything else. Ever since I was little all my old men told me that I would have to become a great Marine in the future. So I never thought about anything else until now." Dragon said as we three continued talking.
