Chapter 146: Saint of Slaughter

Chapter 146: Saint of Slaughter

***

In Mariejois, the Reverie was happening and Kings from all over the world had gathered. They all sat on two rows of tables, facing each other. Sharlia stood on the sidelines and waited for all of them to come and she finally sat at the top of the table.

"My name is Sharlia, I will be the head of this meeting and we will talk about the dangers in the world and what we need to cooperate in."

As she said that, her voice was cold and emotionless, very unlike her usually rash self when she was dealing with fellow Celestial Dragons. Her eyes looked at every king in the room and she evaluated each of them. There were ones like the King of Alabasta, a very kind, but weak leader. Others were incompetent and crazy… some were quite good like King Hamburger.

"My Saintess Sharlia, you are even more beautiful than the rumors say~" Sterry, the King of Goa Kingdom got up dramatically and tried to smoothly talk his way into Sharlia. He wanted to be a Celestial Dragon so bad, and he thought he could do so by at least marrying a female Celestial Dragon.

But she just stared at him coldly. "Sit down. Before I cut off your legs."

Sterry was terrified as he felt a cold chill go down his spine. When confronted with such a  situation, he did the first thing that came to mind. "I -I am a King! You can't-"

Pow!

The sound of a gunshot reverberated through the room and the Kings were shocked as they saw that Sterry's body stumbled on the ground… dead. Sharlia had a gun in her with its nozzle still smoking. "If you want to talk so much, then do so in the afterlife."

The other Kings saw this and didn't know what to do. Even a Celestial Dragon couldn't go around killing royalty like this.

Kings Cezar observed the situation with a calm demeanor, but he was panicking. "Does the World Government want to start a war with all of the Kingdoms?"

Sharlia smiled. "Maybe? I don't know. But, I am acting on my own accord. You might be able to fight against the World Government if you all banded together. But you stand no chance against me."

As if to prove what she said, Sharlia snapped her finger and suddenly hundreds of men in suits came out of the shadows, ceiling, and even under the tables. Each one of them was a trained assassin.

"Cipher Pol?" Nefertari Cobra looked on in shock, and took a deep breath, ready to call his guards. But he was stopped, as one of the men's fingers sunk into his throat.

[Shigan]

Cobra grasped at his throat, trying to stop the bleeding as his eyes widened in shock. The assassin looked at him coldly for a second before turning around and looking at the other Kings.

King Elizabello was the first to act and immediately started exercising and getting ready to use his King Punch. His old friend, Riku noticed what he was doing and went to protect him, by breaking his chair and using its leg as a makeshift sword.

"Riku, if you get out of this alive, please tell my Kingdom to gather their forces and attack the World Government," said Elizabello, nervously looking as the assassins started killing the other weakened Kings.

"The same for you, if you can get out of this. Tell my family that I love them too," Riku murmured, seeing one of the Cipher Pol agents and he swung at the attacker.

But the agent was a well-trained assassin as his body moved out of the way of the attack.

[Paper Arts]

Fwish! Fwish! Fwish!...

None of the attacks landed on him and he was able to get close.

[Finger Pistol x100]

Within an instant, hundreds of holes appeared on Riku's body with blood spilling out of them. There was one in the middle of his head too, and the body of the King of Dressrosa flopped to the ground… dead.

Elizabello saw this and had no choice but to try and use the King Punch he had only charged for about a minute.

"{KING PUNCH}" he yelled out, and while the punch wasn't all-mighty, for an assassin of Cipher Pol. It was more than enough to take them out. But the attack didn't land as a door opened mid-air and swallowed his attack.

[Air Door]

Sharlia stepped out and smirked at the despairing king. "Sorry, but you have to die for his ambition."

Elizabello was confused about what she was talking about, but he didn't have time to contemplate. A door opened on his neck, separating his head from the rest of his body. After that was done, Sharlia stared at the Cipher Pol agent that was about to be hit coldly. "I know you are the lobsters of Cipher Pol who can barely use more than one of the Rokushiki Techniques. But don't disappoint me again or I will kill you myself."

"Y- Yes, Saint Sharlia. I won't disappoint you again," the man bowed. He could feel a heavy atmosphere around the young Celestial Dragon and couldn't help but be in awe of her presence.

Sharlia pon the other hand was a little annoyed at this. After all, these people were all just brainwashed to see the Celestial Dragons as mighty beings. When that was very far from the truth.

'What was the use of this kind of power? In comparison to him, we are nothing but walking chickens. Only he deserves to sit on the throne.' - contemplated Sharlia, walking out, leaving the rest of the Kings to be slaughtered like pigs.

As she strolled through Mariejois, it seemed like was casually walking through a garden even though deaths were happening all around her.

She went towards the grand ballroom. A place decorated in gold and jewels, where the Celestial Dragons usually celebrated the good news. Lately, they had been having a party for Max's death.

But as Sharlia entered the grand ballroom, the place was filled with cries and shouts of panic.

The place was riddled with dead Celestial Dragons, and their servants trying to bring them back to life.

One of the servants saw Sharlia come in and he begged her. "Sharlia -sama!! Someone poisoned the feast! All of the World Nobles, even the Five Elders have been poisoned."

"I know," said Sharlia casually walking past the corpses of her brother and after without even turning to take a look at them. "I poisoned them after all."

"Sharlia…" the blonde-haired Elder looked at his niece with a tired look. He heard what she had just said and desperately went for his niece that he had treated so kindly until now. "Please the antidote…"

He begged towards her, trying to walk but stumbling and falling to the ground. Sharlia smirked at him. "Know your place, trash."

She stepped on her uncle's head, shattering his skull and turning his brains into mush. "Ew, that's gross. I just lightly tapped him, just how strong is this poison?"

Walking past her uncle, she went towards the highest table of the feast where the rest of the dead Elders were sitting. She pushed them off their chairs, and even kicked off three of the luxurious chairs, leaving only two of them. As soon as she sat down on one of them, another presence appeared next to her.

He was a man tall enough as two normal people and he just sat there, his silver hair long and luxurious. Sharlia couldn't help it as her heart started beating faster as she turned to look at him. "Long time no see… Max."

Max turned around and smiled at her gently. "Sharlia, you have done a remarkable job. You have used your Door-Door fruit to sneakily poison even this feast. Initially, I had come here to kill them, only to find out they were already choking to their deaths. Xahahahaha~"

"I heard you were dead," muttered Sharlia, trying to make it sound like she was worried.

MAx though could see straight through her. "You never believed the news, did you?"

Having caught her red-handed, Sharlia chuckled. "Yep, not even once. Someone like you dying is impossible."

"Well, not necessarily impossible-" Max tried to make an argument.

"No, it is impossible," but she interrupted him. Her eyes were filled with god-like belief in him. Not even once did Sharlia doubt that this was part of Max's plan. After all, she knew parts of him like no one else and knew in very deep detail, at a time she was a part of Max's scheme and knew just how scary his foresight could be.

Multiple times, Sharlia had contemplated if Max could somehow see the future. His plans were too good, but such a thing was impossible, which made it even scarier to her. Instead of supernatural ability, instead, he could just clearly predict such things simply by using his intelligence.

"Also I was planning to kill Im too. Seems like they aren't here either. Probably attacking Wano now," said Max, yawning tiredly and getting up. "Well, see you later, I wouldn't want Negan to go and die. Take care of things here."

With that said, a dark spiral formed in front of him and he walked in it. Leaving Sharlia behind.
