The Luchen Pirates

As they sailed on the sea, a news bird flew overhead from the sky. Lafitte received a newspaper with information about the bounties of the Luchen Pirates.

Lafitte: "Captain Luchen, we have information about the bounties of our Luchen Pirates here."

"Captain, your bounty has reached a staggering one billion Berries for the first time. This is the first time a bounty has crossed one billion in the four seas."

"Hehehe, so what's my bounty?"

Bashas was eager to know his own bounty. Lafitte turned his cane and said, "Hehe, besides the captain, our three bounties are only twenty million Berries."

Bashas's excitement instantly turned into disappointment.

"Only twenty million Berries for my bounty?"

Carpinbergi lit a cigar and said, "Being able to get twenty million Berries on your first bounty is already quite good."

Luchen, hearing his bounty was one billion Berries, considered it normal, as he had already revealed the ability to use Conqueror's Haki. If the Marines still didn't take them seriously, he would look down on them even more.

He said, "Your bounties will increase in the future. The most important thing is to work on improving your own strength."

Lafitte: "Captain Luchen is right."

The crew members were excited and cheering.

But one person seemed downcast, and that was Doku Q.

Bashas, seeing Doku Q's gloomy expression, walked over and jokingly said, "Hehehe, Doku Q, did you see that all of us have bounties except for you? So, you're just a crew member, got it?"

Doku Q's face immediately darkened upon hearing Bashas's taunts. If it weren't for Captain Luchen nearby, he would have wanted to poison Bashas to death.

Doku Q said, "Be careful not to be poisoned."

Doku Q showed a fierce gaze.

The Luchen Pirates also caused a series of reactions in the Four Seas and the Grand Line.

After all, it was rare for a bounty to reach one billion Berries on a debut.

However, it didn't cause much of a stir in the New World. The competition there was fierce, and the Whitebeard Pirates were a dominant force.

Marco held up the latest newspaper and said to the others, "There's a formidable newcomer on the seas again."

"To have a one-billion-Berry bounty right after debuting is impressive, and they've awakened Conqueror's Haki."

The captains of the Whitebeard Pirates' divisions were immediately interested in this new rising pirate.

"Wow, are newcomers this powerful now?"

"To have a one-billion-Berry bounty right away?"

"It seems even more intense than Ace's debut."

"Yeah, I don't think we've seen a pirate debut with a one-billion-Berry bounty in the Four Seas."

This caught Ace's attention.

Ace walked over to Marco and asked, "Let me see. Someone this strong right after debuting, it's intriguing."

After looking at the newspaper, Ace also became very interested.

He said, "Someone of roughly the same age as me, with a one-billion-Berry bounty, that's impressive. I wonder if they're more powerful than me."

Ace was currently in his prime and was known as the strongest newcomer, with a bounty of 550 million Berries.

At this point, Bege jokingly said, "Ace, you're not thinking of picking on the newcomer, are you? You debuted earlier than them, after all."

Ace scratched his head awkwardly.

Bege did make a valid point.

Sai, the fourth division captain, added, "Ace is still a newcomer as well. It's appropriate for newcomers to clash, and maybe we can even recruit this new pirate into our Whitebeard Pirates."

Diamond Jozu chimed in, "We happen to have an open position for a new division captain. But it's clear that Ace has more potential."

In Diamond Jozu's eyes, Ace possessed the powers of the Flame-Flame Fruit, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, which meant he had even greater combat potential.

The other division captains nodded in agreement. Ace's strength was evident to all.

"Ace, hand me the newspaper; let me take a look," Whitebeard said in a deep voice.

"Old man!"

"Old man!"

"Old man!"

The crew members greeted Whitebeard as he walked out of the cabin.

Whitebeard nodded and took the newspaper from Ace to examine it.

Even a newcomer like Whitebeard couldn't help but be interested in this new pirate.

"Father's judgment will surely determine the potential of this newcomer."

"That's right; Father's judgment is always unique."

"Yeah, for all these years, Father's judgment has never been wrong."

The division captains had unwavering trust in Whitebeard's judgment because he was the World's Strongest Man.
