2.Fishman Island

After laughing Darren, felt his body change and he could feel the cold temperature around him as the ground had flakes on it.

He then created a snowflake atop his fingertip and played around with his new found powers.

"This is really cool, logias are op at the start of One Piece", "but after Haki it's a different story".

Darren already knew how to train in Haki, so he wanted to start straight away, "within a year or two I should be at the basic stage of both Armemant Haki and Observation Haki".

"And since I'm in Fishman Island I should learn the Fish-Man Karate and Jujutsu".

"If I become a master at it then I should be able to add my devil fruit powers creating a new style of Fish-Man Karate".

Darren then proceeded to make his way towards the Fish-Man Karate Dojo.

As he ran there, memories of the former body owner came back and he verified his age which was indeed 10, he was abandoned as a baby near the shore so he was taken in by the Fish men as they felt pity for him, due to this he was quite close with a lot of the Fish men near the karate dojo although the former owner didn't do karate.

"Atleast that'll make it easier for me to learn the Technique since they like me, although I'm now him, I'll forever be grateful to them".

When Darren was watching One Piece he very much liked the Fish Men an knew who was in the wrong and who was in the right.

He knew they weren't innately bad but became like this due to the pirates.

He then arrived at the front door of the dojo.

As he walked in he looked around and saw already Fish men practicing the Technique.

Excited he looked around until he was greeted by one of the Fish men, "hey there Darren!".

"Hello, sorry last time I rejected to learn Fish-Man Karate, but I really want to now, I saw how cool it was" Darren said trying to butter up to them.

"Hahaha, of course Fish-Man Karate is the strongest in the world!" One of the Fish men bragged. Although it was a stretch to say that it definitely was something to not be taken lightly.

Darren knew what Fish-Man Karate was capable of from seeing Jinbe.

So for the rest of the day they taught him the basic and he learned them quite easily, after he finished his first training session he went home "I should meditate before a got to bed".

Darren then entered his hut and sat down after a shower manipulating his Snow-Snow Fruit.

He got into position as he calmed his mind down

He then trained his mind for an hour with no results, not disappointed he got up and went to bed.

For the next 7 months he continued this training program, within the first 3 months he unlocked his armament haki, Darren also felt that he was ever so close to unlocking his observation haki aswell, he just needed that last push.

"Today, I should look for some pirates, if I'm able to get into a life and death scenario I should be able to unlock it", he put on his dojo clothes and walked out.

By the end of the 7 months he was already level 25 in the Fish-Man Karate technique, he then walked around Coral Hill town.

He soon heard a sound coming from the left side of the street "old man give us all your money hahaha" a bunch of pirates huddled over a stall with an elderly fish man.

Pissed off he walked over to one of the pirates, he was caught of guard as Darren karate punched him in the face sending him flying into the huddled over pirates.

"Do you know that you're messing with the James pirates!", not replying Darren proceeded to fight them and soon got surrounded by the pirates.

A few distances away a man stood there 2 meters tall, "boss!, should we kill him?", "hahaha, why are you asking we're pirates".

'I won't using my Fish-Man Karate, Haki or Snow powers, these people are too weak!'

He then proceeded to fight them, the 2 meter man watched as he saw Darren decently fight his crewmen as he thought.

Darren then closed his eyes as he tried entering a empty like state to feel his surroundings.

"His making a mockery of us, kill him now!", then all the pirates slashed at Darren from all directions as he stood there and soon he felt all the attacks incoming and the intents.

'Yess!, I've unlocked my observation haki!", Darren then dodged all of the attacks as he arrived a few meters away from the pirates.

He then punched out his right fist as he said "Karasugawara Seiken!".

*boom* *clap*

The pirates standing looked at each other as they wondered what the little kid was doing, "heh, this kid must be scared!" A pirate with an eyepatch said.

He then looked to his left as he saw his crew mate shifting backwards, "oi, are you really scared of a kid? Why are you moving backwards!".

"Huh?, I'm not moving, w-wait why is your stomach inwards?!", " w-why does your head look bigger?!", as they both panicked a loud clap was heard.

*Boom* *clap*

"Ahhhh" the crowd of pirates where sent in all directions with a majority of them dying.

Darren then walked up to the elderly fish man and helped him up, "are you ok sir?", "yeah, thank you young man" the fish man had a kind smile.

The 2 meter tall man had a solemn face as he realised the kid was proficient in the Fish-Man Karate, he then pulled out his blade as he run towards Darren.

'I have to kill this kid!', the man's blade slashed down at Darren, Darren dodged it as he saw a black coating on the man's blade.

"He has quite abit of physical strength", 'well this is Fishman Island, you need some type of strength to go the the New World'.

"Snow sword", a snow sword appeared in Darren's hands as he clashed and exchanged blows with the man.

"His a devil fruit user aswell?" The man felt his conviction of killing Darren become stronger.

The man then threw his blade at Darren as decoy he then jumped in the air, Darren blocked the sword and when he looked up he saw a black coated fist encompass his vision.

"He can use haki too?", Darren then jumped backwards as he released another attack, "snow storm" Darren breathed out a storm of snow which surrounded the man and trapped him, "shit!", the man then coated his other hand in haki as he punched at the bindings.

Darren taking advantage of that moment coated his hand in haki as he punched "Samagawara Seiken!", Darren bypassed the snow storm as this technique used the water in the person body to attack.

"Ahhh'".

*Boom*

The man collapsed on the floor as he died from the impact of the technique.

"My Samagawara Seiken is even more ridiculous with haki".

Darren then helped the elderly man reorganise his stall and after finishing he said good bye.

"Wait, young man I run a clothing stall, I would like to make you clothes as a thank you" the elderly fish man said.

"Really?", "yes young man" the fish man smiled.

"Ok can you design it like this", Darren then described Obito's purple kimono robe since he always thought it looked cool.

"And gramps can you make it so it'll fit me even when I'm older", "yeah, I'll just make it for adults and you can wear it as you grow up".

"Thanks gramps!" Darren smiled.
