Towards Sabaody

Morgan, who had evolved, headed towards the New World with determination. His immediate destination: the Sabaody Archipelago.

During his years in the Calm Belt, Morgan had barely seen mermaids, creatures of legend even for a being like him. Occasionally, he had come across a solitary fishman, but these encounters were rare in a domain dominated by Sea Kings.

The choice of Sabaody was not accidental. Some time ago, Morgan had discovered ships loaded with slaves, many under the command of the Celestial Dragons.

On one occasion, even he had found himself caught in one of their nets. However, the disinterest of these "nobles" in Sea Kings had been his salvation, allowing him to escape.

As he approached, the seabed began to change. Enormous roots intertwined at the bottom, creating an underwater labyrinth that announced the proximity of the Sabaody Archipelago.

This unique place, located in front of the imposing Red Line in the heart of the Grand Line, was a spectacle even underwater. The giant mangroves that made up the islands rose like pillars, their special resin filtering and creating bubbles.

Sabaody was not just a natural spectacle; it was the gateway to the New World. This strategic position made it a melting pot of ambition and desperation, where everything could be found.

But beneath this facade of adventure and commerce, the Celestial Dragons allowed a trade to flourish that would be considered an abomination anywhere else: the slave trade.

These self-proclaimed gods treated any being outside their clan as less than animals.

And it was precisely these Celestial Dragons that were Morgan's target. Not out of a sense of justice or revenge, but for a much more pragmatic reason: money.

The wealth of these "nobles" was legendary, and Morgan had conceived a bold plan: to kidnap some of them and demand ransoms of billions of berries.

This idea had germinated when Morgan discovered that he could exchange treasures for evolution points. He had already tried almost all the typical activities of a pirate: kidnapping merchants, raiding slave ships, plundering coastal towns. But the Calm Belt, with its traffic limited mainly to the Navy, offered few opportunities.

The presence of a colossus like Morgan in the waters surrounding Sabaody was something that would cause many problems. So he didn't plan to make a spectacular entrance. His strategy was more subtle: lurking in the depths, waiting for pirates trying to reach the New World through Fishman Island.

"The Navy should pay me for this," he mused, "I'm doing their job."

Not far away, a pirate ship was preparing to be coated. Although small compared to Morgan, the crew on board emanated an aura of ferocity.

Sliding through the water quickly, Morgan launched himself towards the ship. The water churned violently, and before the pirates could even shout a warning, an enormous claw emerged from the sea, shattering the hull like paper.

Chaos broke out on deck.

"What the hell!" exclaimed one, his eyes bulging at the sight of the sea monster. "That's no ordinary Sea King!"

Morgan didn't give them time to recover. With a flick of his tail, he generated a wave that swept across the deck, sending most of the crew into the water.

The few who managed to cling to the wreckage watched in horror as their companions disappeared one by one into the predator's jaws.

The captain was the last to fall. He tried to fight, wielding his sword against Morgan's scales, but it was in vain.

With a snap of his jaws, the Sea King swallowed him whole.

After finishing his feast, Morgan inspected the wreckage, searching for anything of value. "Pathetic," he muttered with contempt. "Barely 50 million berries. The pirates of the Calm Belt offered more."

For Morgan, these encounters had become routine. The pirates, by choosing their lifestyle, had already bet their lives on the capricious sea. Being devoured by a Sea King was simply one of the many ways they could meet their end.

"Well, something is better than nothing," he consoled himself. "Hopefully, there will be juicier prey near the island."

Without wasting any more time, Morgan submerged, heading towards Fishman Island. The journey, which for most sea creatures would take days, for him was a matter of minutes. As he descended, he encountered other Sea Kings, many of similar size to his own. But what distinguished Morgan was not his size, but his intelligence and overwhelming strength.

On his way, Morgan sowed chaos. He didn't attack just for food, but for the sheer pleasure of destruction.

Ten more pirate ships fell before him, their crews helpless against his power. Devil Fruit users, unable to swim, were particularly easy prey once Morgan destroyed the protective bubbles of their ships.

But pirates weren't his only targets. Other Sea Kings, attracted by the commotion, quickly became his prey.

After devouring a serpent-shaped one, Morgan found himself surrounded by several more.

"This is what I call a challenge!" he roared, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Who will be next to taste my strength?"

The surrounding Sea Kings, recognizing the threat, hesitated. But Morgan gave them no choice. With a deafening roar that made the water around him tremble, he lunged at them.
