Survival in this world depends on evolution, reincarnated with an insatiable hunger and an overwhelming ambition. Here, talent isn’t inherited, it’s devoured. The Sea Kings, creatures that dominate the seas, will be my prey. Those who wield Devil Fruits, innate physical abilities, and powerful Haki... I will consume them and evolve! What is this beast? Or perhaps, it’s something even more terrifying. Land, sea, and air, nothing escapes its thirst for power. After consuming the strongest man who ever existed, this creature transforms into an unmatched monster, unleashing chaos that threatens to destroy the world’s balance.
Deep beneath the waves, Morgan found himself lost in a sea of melancholic confusion.
He drifted aimlessly, a victim of his own disorientation.
He tried to recall the way to the Calm Belt, but every attempt to get his bearings ended in failure.
After all, the ocean is so vast that it's incredibly hard to find any direction.
Especially at the bottom of the sea, where there are no landmarks to guide you.
Resigned, he decided to seek refuge on a nearby island.
Maybe, from the surface, he could get a better sense of his location. It was ironic that he was lost in his own element.
As he swam, he sensed an island nearby, teeming with life, thanks to his "Invisible Predator" ability, a skill he acquired after battling a Sea King that resembled a plesiosaur a few years ago.
This ability allowed him to feel the aura of living beings within a 300-meter radius. The stronger the creature, the stronger the aura. Thanks to this ability, his hunting expeditions had become much easier in every way.
Suddenly, like a beacon in the darkness, Morgan felt a presence. It wasn't just any presence; it was an aura so powerful that it made his scales tingle with excitement. Without hesitation, he headed toward the source of that vital energy.
As he got closer, Morgan began to make out the contours of an island.
It was a lush place, brimming with life. The waves crashed against the shore in a hypnotic rhythm, as if inviting Morgan to come closer.
Cautiously, Morgan approached the shoreline, staying submerged. His eyes, just above the surface, scanned the beach for movement. Anticipation built within him; he knew instinctively that this island held the prey he needed to take the next step in his evolution.
Suddenly, his ability kicked in. An electric sensation coursed through his body as he detected two presences approaching the shore. One large and one small, both with surprisingly strong life auras.
"Hm?" Morgan squinted, intrigued. A small figure emerged from the jungle. "A loli?!" he blinked in confusion. "How can such a tiny creature radiate such a powerful aura?"
The girl was coming closer to the shore, seemingly unaware of the danger surrounding the island. Morgan was puzzled by this. "Is she stupid, or does she not know where she lives?"
*Splash!* The waves surged, and Morgan stretched slightly out of the water to get a better view.
At that moment, a second figure appeared. An adult woman, with a body that made Morgan's scales tingle in a way he hadn't felt since he arrived in this world.
"Well, well," he thought, unable to tear his gaze away from the bikini-clad beauty. For a moment, he forgot he was a monster and felt a flash of lust.
Determined to communicate, Morgan opened his mouth. But instead of words, what came out was a deafening roar. "GROOOOAR!"
*Thud!* The girl collapsed to the ground, fainting from the fright.
"Get away!" the woman shouted, her voice tinged with anxiety.
Before Morgan could process what was happening, an arrow whizzed through the air.
*Fzzzt!* The arrow was aimed directly at him, followed by more arrows.
"Roar~!" Morgan reacted instinctively. His thoughts contradicted his actions: "Hey, why so aggressive, miss? I have no intention of eating the little loli, and if I did, she probably wouldn't even give me a health point."
*Clink! Clink! Clink!* The arrows bounced off his scales as if they were mere toothpicks.
The Kuja warrior, her eyes wide with shock, murmured, "What kind of monster is this? A Sea King?"
Morgan, initially worried about Haki, felt relieved to see that the attacks barely tickled. A predatory smile spread across his draconic face.
The Kuja warrior, undeterred, continued her assault.
*Twang! Twang! Twang!* More arrows flew through the air, but all with the same ineffective result.
"Ha! It doesn't even itch!" Morgan thought, growing confident. His eyes, now gleaming with malice, locked onto the warrior.
With a burst of momentum, his gigantic body surged out of the sea, rising over ten meters into the air before crashing heavily near the shore.
The sand flew up under his weight as he prepared to launch his attack.
Just as Morgan opened his jaws, ready to devour the woman, a black-violet arrow descended from the sky with precision.
Terror gripped Morgan as he saw it. His pupils contracted, and a shiver ran down his spine.
With a desperate movement, he managed to dodge the arrow by mere millimeters, his survival instincts driving him back into the sea in seconds.
From the water, Morgan peeked half his head out, his eyes fixed on the figure now gracefully descending from the tallest tree on the island.
A mixture of fear and resentment boiled within him as he watched.
The woman landed softly on the beach and slowly gathered Hancock by the shore.
The beauty of this woman was… unreal, much more than the woman standing off to the side. Her hair, a pure silver, cascaded down to her waist.
Her face, of abnormal beauty, showed serenity. Her amber eyes scanned the horizon before resting on Morgan.
In that instant, Morgan felt as if the entire world had stopped. An uncontrollable tremor overtook his body, and for the first time in his life, death seemed like a tangible, close reality.
"This is…" The revelation hit Morgan like a giant wave. He remembered something from the One Piece anime. The Conqueror's Haki.
No wonder the Sea King from Foosha Village got scared when Shanks unleashed his Conqueror's Haki.
"How did a Sea King from the Calm Belt get here?" The woman's voice, though barely a murmur, resonated clearly in the air for all to hear.
Morgan, hearing her words, was left speechless by such a stupid question.
But survival came first. With a swift movement, Morgan submerged into the sea.
His strength at best was comparable to that of a Marine Vice Admiral, but it paled in comparison to this beautiful woman, meaning that this woman was stronger than a Vice Admiral, perhaps even at the level of an Admiral.
Moreover, he sensed more powerful presences approaching the shore, justifying his decision.
"Ha, ha… live to fight another day,"
