Chapter 45 Love❣️Chris

         Getting to the office,my boss was waiting for me beside my desk. It looks as if he wants to go out. I got to my desk and greeted him and he answered. He told me that he needed to go get something,he will be back shortly.

      I settled down and continued with my paperworks. I dream of a day I would not have to do all these,don't get me wrong I love my job but I want to be my own boss. I believe that from here I will learn all the business ethics I need to know.

      It was passed work hour and I decided to close since my boss did not return again. He had called an hour ago.

      I went to his office to see if there is something I will do before locking up the place and there was none. I  cleared his desk and arranged it in order. I returned to my own desk and arranged it before picking my handbag. I locked up and left.

      I left the office with alot on my mind,my mind drifted to this afternoon and what happened. I really need to know what to do,I wish I can get this done over with. He wants to be targeted by all, definitely not me.

       My apartment is not far from here,so I decided to walk home maybe by doing so,I will be able to clear my head

      I was just walking, humming a tune when something caught my attention,it was an old woman who was try to push her cart of vegetables. What is she even thinking knowing full away that she can't push the cart or is that she does not have anyone  helping her.

     I walked up to her and said my greetings to her, I offered to help and she agreed not without blessing me first. Old people and their blessings.

Chris's point of view......

I have gone to visit Gina yesterday and she was not home then I  could have stayed but I did not want to. I went back to East High hoping to come back again. I have been warned to mark her as soon as possible but not in a forcefully way

"Make her like you first"

 The woman had say

  I need to court her first and that's why I am here.

     From what I gathered,she normally comes back from work by this time everyday but she is not yet back. I have called Redus while ago inquiring about he safety and he said she is in good shape. I would have to stay longer.

     I was sitting inside the car across her street waiting for her return,when I saw something .The angle I am makes it impossible to see what's happening over there clearly. I stared hard and two people were standing at her door post but dropping something and when they dropped it, they left.

     I got out of the car and headed to her doorway,getting there, there was parcel and note on it,it was hanged on her door hanger. I checked the post mark and realized that it's from South that only means one thing,its were sent from someone who lives in South.

     I opened the note and it read

     "Gina sweetie pie,I can't get you off my mind. The one night we spent together is something I wish for it to happen every day .I was disappointed when I woke up but could not find you. We might not have started as friends but it does not matter because I wish to know you more. I love you.

   "Huh?who would use my name and how many people knows about Friday night?"

I wondered.

    I know definitely that this person what's to use me to get her and wants her to think the parcel is from me.

Oh I should have known,well he is indeed smart.plan changed. I picked the parcel and the note. I went back to the car and drove off.
