Chapter 187 Family is Everything

    I did visit Karin in the time past but I don't always visit this guy lying down here in the grave with his wife. I place the flowers I had with me and step away for Sharon to do the same. He actually like flowers,roses to be precise.

   I beckoned on Sharon to speak to them and she went down on her knees. She was so broken,who would not be?.

    "My baby,how are you and your mate?. I know you will think I am the worst mother anyone could have but it's okay,I understand. I know I did the unspeakable but I did that because of my love for you. I could not afford to leave you all alone but I ended leaving you. Plan went wrong darling,it was not intentional. You know Momma loves you so much,I am sorry I missed you becoming a man. I am sorry you had to live without me.

    I heard of your daughter and your son. I can't wait to see them both. Please son permit me to make up with them what I could not do for you. Let me right all my wrongs, please son forgive me and help me ask your mate to do the same for me. If I knew that things will turn out the way they did,I would not have tried at all."

    She said sniffing,Life is not fair at all. I knelt beside her.

    "Kurin do you remember what I told you the day I saw you last. I bet you do because you don't forget things. I told you that we are stuck with each other forever and there is no doubt about that. So your mom is here to get herself stuck back with the family,you can only make that possible if you forgive her. There is no excuse for her mistake so I would not give one. You have to remember that no matter what, family first."

   I can't let him see my tears so I kept myself in check.

    "It is what it is"

We heard, Sharon and I turned to see Karin standing two steps a way without his mate and I wondered why.

   "There is no need for all of these. I understand why mom had to do what she did and it's okay,it was for the best. So Mother I forgive you and Maureen sends her regards too and for you Nora,my best aunt,

    I never had time to tell you how wonderful you are,thanks for looking out for my daughter and for the flowers,I appreciate.

    But don't think of joining us now"

He said and vanished. I sighed with relief,thank goodness that they are not mad at us if not this process would have taken longer time. Sharon wiped her tears and hugged me.

   " I felt free,Nora I am free."

She said and burst into tears.

  "You don't know how heavy I have felt for long"

  "It's okay Sharon,I was heavy too. It has not been easy for me as well."

   I said stroking her back.

    "You know I did not get to tell him that I have a son again,do you think I did the wrong thing"

She asked and tightened her hold on me.

    "Relax Sharon,you did not. I am sure he is aware"

I said and she relaxed a bit.

    "Awwnnn,this look like old time"

I heard from behind and I could tell who has the voice without checking. It's belong to one man and that man is my Dad. Sharon released me and stood up.

   "Dad,Mom!"

She exclaimed,I bet you she was not expecting to see them.

    "Yes pumpkin"

Dad replied. I turned and smiled at them.

    "Hello Dad,it's been long you know"

I said and smiled and he smiled too. 

   "My baby girl did well without us and we are proud of you. Infact everyone beyond is super proud of you."

He said referring to me.

    "Sharon long time,don't worry we are not mad at you. We understand, everyone understands. Just know we love you and we will always love you. Thank you for coming back to the family,we had missed you for long. It's took you time but we are happy that you reconsidered. Family is everything"

   Dad said and Mom smiled,Sharon sniffed back her tears and I could not be more happier. Finally we can be family again. I squeezed Sharon's hand and urged her to say something. I know she is overwhelmed but she needs to say something so it will not look like she is reluctant to be back into the family.
