Chapter 137 What magic can do

   Speaking of Gina,I turned and I did not find her or her mom. I felt guilty about the way I brushed pass her without acknowledging her. I will find her later,let me get done with Tiana.

     I turned my attention back to Tiana and asked.

"What happened?"

"A lot has happened Nora, a lot."

She said and sighed,I relaxed back on the couch ready to listen to all that happened in hundred and twenty years.

   "Tell me,I want to catch old times with you. I want to know why I could not reach you,I want to know what happened to you after the death of the queen"

   That's not all I want to know but for now let's go with what she could disclose. She sighed yet smiled at me. I can't miss her smile for anything,when she smiles the world stands still. One of the few things that makes her unique.

   "Well after the queen died,the lord came after me but as Nature will have it, words got to me before the lord did so I was able to escaped on time. I had no where to go,I kept running from one problem or the other praying not to be found out by humans. You know humans hate witches and I could not stay in a place longer than necessary. So after I had ran for hundred years I returned back to the ancient house to wait for the queen to grow up."

She said and I creased my brows.

  "The ancient house?"

"I asked?"

   "Yes the ancient house"

She responded, creasing her own brows.

    "Wait the ancient house is still in existence?"

I asked

"Offcouse yes,it's still exist."

Tiana said and I  looked at her like she is talking nonsense. How can the ancient house exist and I could not find it. She laughed at my confused expression and cleared her throat.

     "Nora you never changed, stop looking at me like that"

   She said and laughed the more. I shook my head,she should tell me what I need to hear.

   "Okay if the ancient house exist,where is it?"

I asked her still she looked at me beweird,I could recognize that look on her face.

   " Nora are you for real,this is the ancient house "

She said and I covered my mouth with my palm. I was stunned over the revelation,I could not imagine being under something and still ask after it but why couldn't I recognized it. I looked around and the building manifested in my eyes,it was hiding in a facade before. What magic can do,I should not be surprised.

     " So the building has been in existence but why couldn't I trace it back to you?"

I said trying to know why.

    "The building was the only memory of the warrior queen that I have so when Lord Xexes came after me I had to used the queen's magic to hide it until I was ready to return to it. This building means a lot to me and losing it to lord Xexes was what I could not accept. Lord Xexes was in for me and the queen,he was ready to destroy every existence of the queen and evidence that stands for her"

     She said. I can understand how it feels to be on the run and still protect what you care for, Tiana is one hell of a determined witch that I know and I never regretted my friendship with her way back then. When I looked fot her and could not find her,I fell into depression coupled with the fact that I had no mate, loneliness was at it peak with me and it took me years to get out of it. If not for the fact that I had to be a godmother to the prophesied queen,I don't know what would have become of me?.

  "Tiana it's okay,the most important thing is that you are okay and you have got to be with the queen again. She needs us more than ever because what I see is far from easy.The battle is going to be tough,I pray that the queen stays focus and do what she has to do when the time comes."

 " I pray same too,like the nightmare I had three days ago gave me goosebumps and I am afraid things might not work out well"

Tiana said. Every one is in fear of the unknown but I strongly believe things will work out fine.

    "I trust Nature and Universe,things will not go otherwise"
