Chapter 113 Caught in the Act

Chris's point of view.....

    Seeing Gina gave me a new found energy,She is my lucky shine. 

     I have not seen my uncle since yesterday after I left him at the throne room. I wished there is away we could settle this issues but no way,he has to go down because he has been a nightmare for a long time. He would not repent and I would not use because he is my uncle and leave him to continue to oppress the people. 

       They are my people and what concerns them concern me too. They have suffered for a long time now,it's time to give them back their peace.

  I stood up from my bed and visualised how it's going to be waking up every morning with Gina by my side,how wonderful it's going to be. Well it's just a matter of time and every obstacles on our way will be cleared. Even if it means going out of the way for my Gina.

     I made to my hundred years old wardrobe. It was a good thing my uncle did not tamper with my room and everything that has to do with me. I made to open it but felt presences around,I slowly turned and my grand parents were standing in all their glories looking so alive. I smiled at them, this is not the first time they are paying a visit to me but its been long they visited .

    "You both came to see me?"

I asked, beaming at them.

   "Yes dear,we thought it wise to see you."

Lord Osmos said and Lordress livrus smiled even the more.

 "Yes son,we miss you. Your parents sends their regards,they said to tell you that you are doing wonderfully well and that they are proud of you,they are not mad at you for ditching the throne"

   The Lordress said and I sighed,its been bugging me for a long time now thinking how my parents will see me for taking a long time before returning but I believe Nature had it all planned out.

    "So how is your bride doing?"

The lord asked with a straight first and I felt *caught in the act*(it's a popular phrase used when someone felt that they were caught red handed doing something they are not supposed to do). But why will I feel like that when I know I am doing nothing wrong?

"Yes, how is my grand daughter doing,when are you introducing her to us, boy."

She asked and I smiled at her

     "Soon granny,very soon. And besides,you could just pay her a visit and I know you guys are everywhere"

I replied. it's easy for them, because whatever that goes on they get to see it and they can choose to visit anyone anytime.

   "We don't want to scare her and again,it's your duty to introduce her to us. I believe when this is over,You both will pay us a visit"

Lordress further said.

    "Alright we will not fail to come"

I responded with a sly smile,

    "So what brought you both here?"

 "The war is definitely ending soon but don't be deceived it's actually not the end. Nevertheless,you will not be bothered again. We will take it up from where the warrior princess will stop. Just know that we are with you every steps of the way,we love you"

       She said and I looked at the lord,who affirmed what she said,I was not surprised at what she said because I have got a glimpse of what's going to happen and I am not shaken. Let them bring their tactics,we will be waiting for them.

  "I understand and we are ready for whatever that is coming our way. Thanks grandma,thanks grandpa"

I said bowing slightly at them

   "You are welcomed my beloved grandson. We should be on our way now"

The lord said,

  "See you soon"

         They disappeared and I heaved a sigh, first, it was Gina now,the lord and his Lordress. My day just got better. Let me go see my beast of uncle.

  I  survey through my wardrobe to see what I have got here. Magic is so sweet, everything in here looks so damn new. Who will believe that after a century,here will look the same like I just left it yesterday.

     I picked one of my royal attire and put it on,it was a simple plain black trouser and a grey hooded sweatshirt and with royal stamp on it. Wore my sandals and stepped out of the room,it's show time.
