You think I'm not ready for this?

"I don't know what's going to happen," she said quietly, her voice almost a whisper. "But I know I can't take this."

"You don't have to figure it all out right now," he interrupted softly. "I'll be here. For you, and for the baby. You don't have to go through this alone. I told you I'm here."

Her heart skipped a beat. She wanted to believe him, more than anything. She wanted to trust his words but she still feel scared thinking about the future.

He took another step closer. His gaze was intent, and the storm of emotions swirling in his eyes was something she hadn't expected. To be honest she never pictured him taking responsibility for this child.

"You think I'm not capable of handling this?" he asked, his voice low, a trace of hurt seeping through his tough exterior. He seriously want this child now so he will do anything to convince her. But he can't meddle too much in her decisions.

"No," she said quickly, her breath catching. "I just...I don't know if you are." He let out a soft, frustrated sigh, running a hand through his dark hair. "You think I'm not ready for this?" His voice softened.

"I've just been waiting for the right reason to change everything. And maybe this is it. You are it. I think I'm ready to take all the responsibilities for you and this child."

Her eyes widened at his confession, the raw sincerity in his words catching her off guard. For a moment, she could almost see the man beneath the cold CEO, the same man who cried when he heard the baby's heartbeat.

The same man who was together with her throughout her hospital visit leaving his own work behind.

"I'm not asking you to do this for me," he added. "I'm asking you because this is your choice. I'm here, no matter what you decide. But I want you to know, I'll be there for you and the baby. You won't be alone."

Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, and she quickly blinked them away. It was too much.....too much to process. The uncertainty, the fear, the confusion everything but now, there was something else too. There was hope too.....which he is giving her now.

She didn't know what the future held, but standing there, with him looking at her like that, she didn't feel quite so lost.

"I want some time to think about all this. I can't tell you anything now." She said looking anywhere but his eyes." You can take time to make the decision. But..... please let me know what you decided. And also please consider again for the abortion." His voice trailed off saying those words.

"Hmm.....I will let you know when I have decided. I will go home now." She said and turned towards her apartment. Her whole body was feeling weak, her face looked so pale, her steps were slow, she looked like an epitome of lifelessness.

He just kept looking at her retreating to her house. What a strange world....he came here to give a gift to Rachel but he himself ended up getting gifted with a child. "I promise you Bella.....I will be together with you in this."
