Chapter Twenty Eight_ I Will Keep My Promise.

Valerie POV

I didn't expect Christine to apologize to me and to top it all up, I loved that he took me to buy some clothes. But then the hospital called me all of a sudden, ruining my beautiful mood with what they said to me.

After answering the call, I began to sweat profusely due to anxiousness and nervousness, this isn't the first time that my uncle is visiting us unawares. It's usually while I am not there, for some reason, he seems to know our exact location as though he's tailing on us.

"What happened?" I heard Christine ask, thereby bringing me out of my reverie, and the realization struck me that I hadn't asked him to revise the car to the hospital.

"Please, revise the car to St. John's hospital, it's very time-critical please, the hospital just allowed a stranger into my mom's ICU room and I don't know what he might do to her, she's in a vegetative state please." I pleaded with him with a crack voice.
