CHAPTER 2 : remembering the past

Alyx open his eyes and found himself floating on a dark abbyss. He search the surroundings looking for light but failed. After some time, all the memories before he died on his first and last life flood in his head to the point he feels like his head is going to split open.

Alyx Vicente isn't his real name. It was Rafael Salazara, he was a graduating nursing student. The night after he take his bar exam he saw a guy who was about to get hit by a truck, his body move on its own. He successfully pushed the guy but failed to saved himself and got run over by the truck.

That was the beginning of his tragedy. For some reason his dad cannot accept him and left his mom. After his mother left, his dad was force to take him in.

Then, he remembered where he first heard about the name 'Alyx Vicente' . It's the name of the main protagonist of the bl novel his younger cousin so crazy about. His younger cousin always tells him about the whole story of the novel, all the characters name in that novel has the same name of all the person he encountered in his second life.

But, the only thing his confuse about is that Alyx and Eric wasn't step brothers, Alyx parents never divorce on the story, Eric was an only child, and Alyx and Eric was sweet to each other. The whole story was supposed to be a warm and sweet, it's supposed to be a story about two men being in love and devoted to each other.

Eric supposed to be a gentle, sweet and devoted partner towards Alyx and protect him from harm, then why did Eric do that to him?Why does Eric hate him do much?

While Alyx trying to put all the things together, five gigantic human shadows appeared from the darkness.Alyx can't see their faces. 

Suddenly, he hear a woman's voice, from the shadows, "Welcome, Alyx Vicente... or do you prefer if I call you by your original name. Rafael Salazara the mortal who destroy the flow of the world." A shadow leaned closer and Alyx finally saw its face.

The gigantic woman that leaned closer has a very beautiful face. She has a gold phoenix eyes and blonde curly hair that reached her waist. The white dress she wears glows and emits a powerful and elegant aura. She looked like a goddess from ancient Greece. She's wearing a golden crown with veils on the side.

She's Aria, the goddess of beauty and fertility.

Alyx who was stunned by seeing such a beautiful person finally regained his senses, "who are you? Where is this place?" Alyx said and face the beautiful woman.

She looked at him with disgust "Ha! How arrogant. For mere human like you.. do you think you has any right to question a goddess and look at a high mighty being such as myself with your dirty eyes?!?!" The woman said with a distorted expression.

A invisible force pressed on Alyx and wrapped around his neck. He feels like his whole body was going to be crushed and feels like his neck was going to snap.

Another shadow comes forward and reveal its face. This time, it's a extremely handsome man. He too has a golden eyes, his long white hair was tied in the back while only leaving some strand of hair on his face. He has a gentle expression on his face. He's wearing a golden crown with a gems on them.

He's Zytron, the god of Thunder and storm. Unlike the elements he's representing, Zytron has a very calm temperament. He also represent the rain.

" Aria, that's enough. You are a goddess you should be understanding towards the lower kind." He said stopping the woman, the force that oppressing Alyx suddenly disappear.

The goddess named Aria glare at him but didn't speak a word. The man then face Alyx and said, "Rafael Salazara, we are sadden by the misfortune you face. We didn't realize that a wrong soul has been put in the body of Alyx Vicente." He said and show a sad expression.

Alyx look at the man with a confused look, " wrong soul?" He asked.

"Ha! Didn't you hear what Zytron said? You humans are really stupid." A man with three horns in his head comes forward and reveal himself. 

He has strange marks on his face. His red crimson eyes glares directly at him. He has a shoulder length red brown curly hair. He's Kali, the god of war.

"You humans act all high and mighty but your heads are full of Idiocracy." He said looking down at Alyx.

"That's enough, Kali. Hindra, please explain to Rafael what happened." Zytron said wearing a gentle smile. Another beautiful woman comes forward.

The woman named Hindra has a long wavy blue hair, she's also wearing an ancient Greece like dress and wearing a golden crown with blue gemstone. She has a calm face and her beautiful droopy ice blue eyes looked at Alyx with no expression.

She is the goddess of the sea. She never really care about the humans and don't meddle with their business. But, Alyx broke a fate of other people so she is force to attend the meeting.

"The person you saved from your original world was supposed to be the one to enter the body of Alyx Vicente. But, for some reason you manage to interfere the flow of fate of Alyx Vicente and his beloved. Because of this, you were punished by the goddess of time, which is Aria for your wrongdoings." Hindra said and Alyx remember the person he saved from his previous world.

"All of the things I been through... was just because I saved a person?" Alyx muttered, his eyes were unfocused. Everything he been through all flood in his mind. He also remember in his second life, his father would look at him with disgust and say that he's sure that his not my biological father and his mother cheat on him with another man behind his back.

They would often fight about who his real father is. One time, his father strangle him with his eyes full of disgust and malice looking completely like a insane person while saying to give his son back and calling him a devil.

Alyx raise his gaze and looked at Aria with a distorted expression gritting his teeth. The mix af hatred, helplessness, and confusion were circling inside his head like a huge storm. His eyes start to get red and his breathing became unsteady, " You're telling me that I went through all of that bullshit and live a living hell, just because I saved a fucking save a person?!? What kind of fucking reason is that?! " he yelled in anger tears start falling from his eyes.

Suddenly, a force hit him in the stomach. The impact made him unable to breath and feel like his ribs broke. " How dare a mere lowly human raised his voice in the presence of mighty beings. Don't you still understand what you have done? You ruined and interfere to one's fate that only us gods are allowed to."

A boy with an appearance of a child came out.

The boy is wearing a blue sailor outfit with a gold emblem in the ribbon. He has a curly dark blue hair and has a blue green eyes that currently showing a visible disgust at Alyx.

He is Yaphisor, the god of reincarnation.

"I, the god of reincarnation pick that boy's soul because his unwavering passion to prove himself to the society. He suffer poverty since birth and has to endure the insecurity of not having what others has, he live a pitiful life. Even though he suffer all of these, he never gave up and vowed to be successful. He never asked to his parents for more and accept wholeheartedly what they gave without any complaints." He pauses and shrink himself to approach closer to Alyx. " It's all perfect. But, you. You have the audacity to ruined the his successful new life. He's supposed to be loved by everyone in his next life but you ruined it." He said In anger.

Alyx feel a forced oppressing him again and this time it's a lot more heavier. He started to have difficulty on breathing, sweat start falling from his forehead and his whole body is shaking. But, he's still been able to hear what the god of reincarnation said.

'A pitiful life? Just because his not satisfied on what he have?' He thought to himself, he clench his fist until it bleed. 'If that guy's life is considered pitiful then what about mine?'

In his first life, his father met his mother behind his wife's back. His mother didn't even know that she became a mistress until when he was eight years old, a woman came knocking on their and slap his mother calling her a slut and a homewrecker. He witness his mother getting drag outside and get insulted.

After getting caught of adultery, his father left them and never came back.

His mother try to raised for 2 years but eventually gave up and decided to left him at his young uncle. His uncle is a runaway and a drop out, he runaway from their house at the age of 16 and live alone. His relationship with his Uncle was good at the start, until some of his uncle's friends came over and live with them.

His uncle's friends will often hit him for no reason and they made him do all the house chores. He live with them until he reach high school and he decided to live with his friend.

He got himself a part-time job and support himself through college. He finally been able to pass the bar exam, it was his dream. To be finally be able to live as he wanted and meet the person he can be with for the rest of his life.

But, it was all ruined after he saved a random stranger and got punished by ruining that guy's so called fate.

Seeing him get quiet with his head down, the gods thought that he's starting to repent for his actions.

"It looks like you finally realized your faults and finally repenting." The goddess Aria said in a mocking voice.

"Are you really finally seeing your wrongdoings, mortal?" Hindra said in a cold voice said.

"What if I'm not?" He said in a low voice without looking up. His whole body is shaking and his palm starting to bleed because of how hard he clench his fist.

"Hah! This lowly human is really amusing." Another one reveal himself. 

He has a long black hair tied in a ponytail wearing a golden crown that look like a crown of a emperor from ancient era on western part of Asia. He's wearing a black robe with a golden dragon embroided in it.

He's eyes were in a deep shade of red. He's looking at Alyx whit an amused smile.

"What do you by your words, Kim Seojoon?" Zytron said looking at him with a cold smile on his face. He know this guy will bring nothing but trouble.

Kim Seojoon is the god of fortune, he represent the luck and wealth. His one of the most worship god among the 12 god, that make him one of the most powerful god.

Unlike the other 12 gods, Kim Seojoon likes to meddle with human lives. He likes to play with their emotions and live. He likes how they fight and kill each other for a piece of fortune.
