CHAPTER 15 Cliché of the Hero Saves the Princess

MC POV

Returning from my long vacation where I finally got to unleash my lust with Clarion and Ako, I noticed that everyday life was returning to its usual course.

It's been a week since I got back.

My mother, despite my insistence, had resumed her work, and Ako had returned to her home to reunite with her family.

Meanwhile, I was resting. I'm currently on vacation, with two more weeks before starting the second semester of my second year of high school.

School is fun when you have friends, although now I'll only go for one day due to the apocalypse.

"How much longer, Clarion?"

"Master, the world will enter its evolution phase in 2 weeks," Clarion informed with seriousness.

"Make the phase about zombies; dungeons would be more problematic," Daniel pondered.

"Yes, Master."

When we arrived in the world, Clarion began devouring the world's will. Now, this world can be considered ours. I don't plan to cancel the evolution; I'm going to try to protect the people a bit.

I'm bored; I think I'll take a short trip.

'Um... Returning to Korea would be a good option.'

I'm going to block my celestial sight and concepts to surprise myself on this journey; it'll be more fun. Although I already knew information since I analyzed the world and stopped some story beginnings, I didn't pay much attention, really.

A whole mini-verse with various interconnected series has formed.

'Let's see... it started with an old man seeking revenge for his daughter, in the true 'Die Hard' style, hahaha! There are also young delinquents fighting among themselves, even one in prison. It'll be interesting to watch one of their fights before the world's evolution. And here we have a system user," Daniel murmured, debating internally whether to intervene or not.

Night fell in Korea. During his journey, he just walked around and visited different stalls as a tourist. He liked Korean women a lot, but nothing enough to take action.

"I have an idea, Clarion. Prioritize the protagonist's title and infuse destiny energy to boost it. I want to have an exciting night."

"Done, Master!" Clarion responded excitedly, unaware that his decision to favor the protagonist's title would break his agreement with Ako to keep the "vixens" away.

Dressed casually and with a smile on his face, Daniel ventured into the bright streets of Korea, excited about what the night had in store.

----

Thirty minutes passed, but no issue arose. I was feeling a bit bored as I continued walking through the area, until suddenly, I came across a cute girl who seemed to be in trouble, harassed by three men.

"It seems Japan isn't the only place with harassment problems," mentioned Clarion, showing little interest in the situation.

"You're right, Clarion. It's like those street bullies. You know something, Clarion? I've always wanted to embody the cliché of the hero saving the princess," I commented as I observed the scene.

I couldn't just stand by, so I quickly intervened and took care of those harassers.

I watched the pretty girl closely and noticed she was truly beautiful, with a delicate scent of flowers, chestnut hair, and captivating blue eyes.

Her body was alluring, with pronounced curves that contrasted with her beautiful face full of innocence.

Now, as a specialist in souls and auras, even without my eyes, I could discern a lot about a person.

I could sense that, although this girl's face radiated innocence, there was something more to her. There was a hidden sensuality and curiosity, as if she were a different person in a more intimate setting.

She was quite perverted and eager to experiment.

That duality immediately attracted me; it was similar to Ako, someone shy but with a perverted side that only showed when we were close.

Now, I felt like I wanted to get to know more about this girl. I noticed that she also seemed interested in me, I played hard to get and pretended to leave, as expected she stopped me.

------

"Master, I've noticed a slight fluctuation of destiny in her. It seems she's an FMC."

"Didn't you have an agreement with Ako to keep me away from women?"

"That's with regular women, Master. There's no harm in stealing heroines from idiotic protagonists."

"That's why I like you, Clarion, hahaha."

FMC POV

"My dad's drinking again; I don't want to be in that damn house ever again," I sighed in frustration.

"I guess I'll have to sleep at the flower shop again."

Suddenly, three tattooed guys stood in my way, blocking my path. My heart raced with fear and anxiety. I tried to stay calm and avoid their gaze, but their intentions were clear.

"Heyyy, beautiful. Would you like to grab a drink with us?" one of them said with a lecherous smile.

"No, leave me alone, I have things to do," I responded, trying to keep my composure, although I was trembling inside.

"Come on, don't be shy. We won't hurt you, or will we?" another one of them jeered, dangerously close.

"Get away from me!" I shouted, trying to step back, but another one of them grabbed my arm and squeezed tightly, making me feel powerless.

"Commmee onnn, don't be so shy. It'll be fun; we can go to a karaoke and have a good time together," they insisted, laughing maliciously.

Fear paralyzed me, and my attempts to ask for help were in vain, as people on the street simply looked away, ignoring my plight.

'I'm trapped, what can I do?' I thought in despair, resigning myself to what might happen. But suddenly, a firm and determined voice echoed in the alley.

A tall and handsome man, with an imposing yet relaxed presence, stood before the thugs. "You're not going to win anyone over by force, guys. Let go of the girl and get out of here," he declared firmly.

For a moment, the guys seemed to hesitate, but their arrogance quickly took over. "And who are you to meddle in our affairs?" one of them retorted with hostility.

The mysterious man looked at me calmly and offered a reassuring smile. "I don't care who you are; all I know is that she doesn't want to be with you."

Tension hung in the air as the criminals faced off with the enigmatic man, and suddenly, the situation grew even tenser.

"Who do you think you are to stand in our way?" another of them growled and swung a punch at the man, but he evaded the attack with surprising agility.

"Your dad," the man replied calmly, as his aura became even more imposing.

What followed was

a one-sided confrontation as the enigmatic man "fought" the three men, if you can call it a fight. It only took him one blow to knock each one out.

Meanwhile, I watched with wide eyes, amazed by the man's skill in saving me. It happened so fast that I hardly realized.

Relief flooded over me as the man approached with a reassuring smile. "Are you okay?" he asked, genuine concern in his eyes.

I nodded, unable to find words to express my gratitude. In that moment, I felt protected and safe by his side.

"You should be more careful, especially at night. You never know what kind of people you might encounter," he cautioned with a serious yet kind tone.

"Thank you... thank you for helping me," I managed to say in a soft voice, my heart filling with gratitude.

"No problem, just make sure to take better care of yourself in the future. Now, I'll take my leave; I hope you have a better night." As he seemed ready to leave, I grabbed his arm to stop him from going.

"Wait, let me treat you to dinner. I know a good restaurant nearby." I don't know why I said that; I've never asked a man out on my own initiative, but I don't want to be separated from him.

"Sure, I can't refuse when a pretty girl asks," he said with a smile that left me entranced.

"I'm Daniel Ashikaga. Call me Daniel."

"I'm Sun-Hwa."

"The name suits you well. Flower of the Sun, symbolizing beauty, hope, and light." When he said that, my face felt really warm. Is he flirting with me? Does he like me?

Quickly, I grabbed his hand and rushed toward the restaurant, feeling embarrassed.
