A new world

As i slowly open my eyes I see the morning sun rising on the horizon, I seem to be sitting on a park bench.

I sit there for a while as I collect myself. It would seem R.O.B had made a identity for me, I am Aron Parker, I am an orphan and recently left the orphanage. I have completed High School and am yet to apply for university.

It was nice having a pre-made identity, it would be much easier to deal with when it comes to Shield.

I have around ten thousand dollars on me so the thing to do is to rent a place to stay at first, lets get some breakfast first while I am at it.

I walk into a cafe to get a morning coffee and some breakfast. I walk upto the counter and cute girl taking orders, I walk upto her to place my order.

"Hi there, good morning, could I have a black coffee with some hash browns please."

"Good morning, yes that will be 5 dollars and 75 cents." She said with a smile on her face and a little blush which was visible. I have to have a look at myself to know how exactly I look.

I take out 6 dollars and hand it to her and tell her to keep the change and ask her where the rest room is, she tells me that its in the back on the left side, to which I thank her and leave towards the rest room.

I enter the restroom and look myself up in the mirror, I look exactly as I wanted, I was tall, lean, with jet black hair and dark blue eyes, a defined jaw. I could confidently say that I am handsome, and will have no problem with the ladies as evident from my previous interaction with the barista.

I wash my hands throughly and dry them with some tissues. I walk out of the rest room and take a seat at a corner table, after waiting for a while I see the barista coming over with my order.

She places it on the table with a smile and tells me to enjoy.

I take a sip of the black coffee and I have to say its quiet well made and strong just the way I like it. It gives me a wave of freshness and I start digging into the hash browns, they too are quiet well made and tasty. I take my time with my breakfast and inbetween take a look around the place, its quiet early and the morning rush is just starting now. People are streaming in and placing there orders, there is the smell of coffee being brewed in the air. It quiet peaceful.

I finish my breakfast and start heading towards the door, inbetween I saw the girl who took my order and she turns to me with a smile.

"How was your breakfast? May I ask your name?" She asked me with a cheerful look on her face.

"It was quiet good. My name is Aron, Aron Parker. May I know your name too?" I asked her returning the smile.

"That is nice to hear. My name is Emily, Emily Evans" she replied to me.

"It was nice meeting you Emily, I may come by tomorrow too." I replied to her while offering her a hand shake.

"It was nice meeting you too Aron, see you tomorrow then." She said while returning the handshake.

After the short conversation I left the cafe and started walking toward the library, it was nice that I have memories of living in this city otherwise I would be lost in a big city like New York.

I walk towards the entrance of the New York Public Library, thankfully its open now and I just walk in, the library is quiet big and one of the trademark places in New York located at the 5th avenue street.

I ask the recptionist about the section where I can get the Information about the property dealers in the city and the receptionist points me towards the section. I thank the receptionist and walk towards the section.

I quickly browse through all the information of the interest and while I was doing so I got to know that I have Eidetic memory and I can recall every information in detail. It was a euphoric feeling that filled my chest.

It seem I have gained quiet an interesting thing, I have to use this to my advantage. Once I am settled down I will expand my knowledge base. I have to get ready for my plans for the future.

I walk out of the library and walk towards the office of a property dealing company which was near the library. I walk inside the office door and see that the reception area has a lot of greenry, it was quiet refreshing to look at.

I walk upto the reception, I see that a lady was there behind the reception table.

"Hi, good morning, I would like to enquire about a place to rent."

"Good morning sir, may I enquire what kind of place you would like and what is your price range?"

"I am looking for a one room apartment and my price range is upto 2000 dollars a month. Preferably near to the library and has a gym near by."

"Hmm, let me transfer you to one of our agents. Please wait for a while in the waiting area and I will call for you, please write your name in the register." She replied with a smile while handing me a pen and register.

"Thank you" I reply to her and take the pen and fill my name in the register.

I wait for a while in the waiting area and in some time the receptionist calls me and tells me to walk to a room on first the right side of the lobby.

I walk to the room and gently knock on the door"Come in" calls a voice from the inside, I open the door and walk inside.

I see a well dressed man in a brown suit and a cream coloured tie sitting behind a simple office desk. I walk toward him and he stands up and offers me a handshake from across the desk.

I take his hand in a firm handshake and said "Good morning, my name is Aron Parker, I would like to rent an apartment please."

"Good morning, my name is James, James Bradley. Happy to have you here with us, please take a seat and we can start going over the options."

I take a seat, and look ahead, I see him taking out multiple pamhlets and placing them infront of me.

"I heard your requirments and we have a few options in place for you, you can see in the first pamhlet is that the apartment has a monthly rent of 1000 dollars and is in a mile radius of the library and has two gyms. The second one is for 1500 dollars a month and comes with the a full furnished room."

"I would like the second one, I say without thinking much." While reading the pamhlet.

"Okay, you need to pay an advance for 3 months and some fee for the paperwork and us. That will cost you around 5500 dollars. Will that be alright?" James asked.

"Yeah, that is alright, can I move in today itself?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I you can pay now we can handle the paperwork by the evening that then you are free to move in. Will you pay in cash or cheque?" Asked James.

"I'll pay in cash." I said and proceeded to take out the cash from a bag which held all my things and documents.

I handed him the cash and he started doing the paperwork after a few hours he took me to the place the showed me the place, It was just as he had told me and I proceeded to sign off on the necessary things. I was too exhausted after that so I went to a nearby diner and had a quick dinner and went back to my place to rest.

When I was inside the apartment I slid up my sleeve from my left arm and saw the omnitrix from Alien Force there. It had green lines running from the dial into the wrist band like the ultimatrix but other than that it was quiet like a watch rather than a gaunlet.

I went to bed and fell asleep as I thought to try out the watch tomorrow morning rather than today itself.

From tomorrow will start my new journey...
