#Chapter4
-The Bane.
Nathaniel POV.
Take a walk, that's what dad said every time I asked about the Omega girl, I needed to see her, I needed to make sure she's okay but he kept telling me to take a walk. I didn't want to take a walk, I was curious about her, my wolf wanted to go in and check on her.
The doctor told me it's bad, she's not in a good shape, and she's anemic. This isn't a joke anymore, she's in desperate need of help, we need to have her here with us. But her Alpha needs to give her up, she has to belong to us officially.
For that dad have a meeting with her old pack, I'm going, I refuse to take another walk, I'm going there to make sure the son of a bitch gives her up now, she's ours! Dad said the meeting is tonight, he and mom been taking turns cuddling her, the poor thing is so small and sick, they were worried to let her go even for a second. The doctor is still pumping her system with nutrients and hydrants, I heard something that I shouldn't have heard, if we didn't found her, she'd be dead by the end of the night.
That only made me even madder than before, I wouldn't take a walk not now, I waited not very patiently for the night to fall, I wasn't allowed close to the Omega, not until she belongs to us. Finally, when the night fell it was time to move, as I and Tristan are future Beta and Alpha, we were allowed to come along, great, I'll have my support system to kick their asses.
/"Ready Tristan?/" I ask, he was just as fidgety as me, wanting to have his hand over whoever hurt the little Omega, it's killing us not to be able to touch her yet.
/"Born ready/" he replies with a mean smile on his face, we're in for this.
/"Let's go boys/" I heard my mom says, she finally let the girl go, my eyes went toward the clinic, she's alone now, maybe a quick hug won't kill.
/"Don't even think about it Nat, she's sleeping. Let's go/" my mother says dragging both of us outside, no goodbye hug for me I guess.
We got in my dad's car while the betas and Tristan's parents followed in their car along with some of our best enforcers, two-pack leaders meeting, they don't always end up well. This one is not gonna end up well, not if I have a say in it.
The ride to the neutral land was a bit long, we can't meet on our or their territory, if we do, we'll kill each other for sure. When we got there, we got out of the car and walked into the bar, yes we meet in a bar, funny.
The Omega old alpha was there, with his Beta and enforcer, no woman was seen, it seems like he have no Luna, a Luna is a dominant wolf, they always attend all kind of meetings, we shared a quick hello before sitting down for the real talk.
/"We have Eden, we want to keep her/" my dad start.
/"That bitch is ours/" the alpha replies.
/"We won't mind to pay or set any kind of settlement with you/" dad says but his voice has changed to his alpha toned, like the one he uses when yelling at me and Tristan.
/"I don't want your money, I want her back/" the alpha says still in the same cold voice.
/"She's sick, bruised, and almost dead/" my mother says now in her alpha voice, she's just as scary as dad can be.
/"Good let her die/" the cold-hearted alpha replies making my blood boil, the beta, his hand goes to my arm and holds me back, smart move.
/"We want her alpha, no matter the price/" dad says this time his voice held an undercover threat, one that I agree to.
/"I have no problem with you Blue blood pack, but this is asking for a war/" the other alpha says.
Dad stand up, as does my mom, the beta follows, then me and Tristan, and finally the enforcer, we're not meaning any jokes anymore.
/"She's ours now, if you want a war start one, we're not giving her up/" dad says walking out of the bar, we all follow him. Dad is one hell of a badass, I agree on every word he said, we're not giving Eden up, she's my Eden.
When we got home mom allowed me to go and check on her this time, she was still in bed sleeping, I tiptoed next to her checking on her, she was crying in her sleep. I couldn't help but get next to her in bed and hug her, she calmed down right away and went back to sleep.
