Discharge from Hospital Part 2

They notice that Ana is scattered, Justin decides to play along: 

 "Planet Earth calling Ana...my arm is going numb..." 

Ana comes to her senses, lowers her hands and apologizes: 

 "I'm sorry...well, you brought my suitcase right Justin, I need to take a shower, if only briefly...hehe" 

Luke realizes that she hasn't finished her sentence, and has completely changed the subject, so he decides to test her before the two of them leave the room for a few minutes until she takes a shower: 

 "Ana, if you need help in the shower, I can help you." 

Ana turns so red with embarrassment, she quickly says: 

 ".. Uhm, no need, I can do it myself..." 

Luke smiles, yes, this is Ana as usual, so they leave her alone with the nurse, who asks Ana to be careful with the vein in her hand when she takes a shower, otherwise she'll have to do another one, Ana is careful not to get it wet, the nurse helps her sort out some pajamas, her mother sent so many clothes, it looks like she's going to be away for several days, and not just for a single day, she finds it strange, especially as her best friend is finally coming to visit her, she takes a short shower, doesn't wash her hair, and makes sure she doesn't lose the venous access in her hand, otherwise she'll have to do another one, it's really annoying having to do another one, she puts on her pajamas, and waits for the nurse to bring her a meal, she's really hungry, they end up delivering two meals, after all Luke won't be leaving this room for anything today, there's another bed in the Vvip room, he comes back after a while to spend time with his brother Justin, who has already gone home at Luke's request, he's going to spend the night with Ana, I mean in the same room as the hospital, so he can be sure that everything is all right with her, they eat their meals, exchange a few more words, Ana now seems to be very sleepy, Luke still seems to be on 220w, he notices that Ana has gone to sleep, he watches her for a while and thinks to himself: 

(She looks better now, she's so cute sleeping, have I really fallen in love with her? When did this happen? Was it her first day of training with us? 

The day she took the dagger and hit the training dummy in the head? Good aim, would anyone be crazy to fall in love with that? Or just because I found someone who could kill me if he had to, Hell... that death wish again, it's eating me up, I don't want to see the worst of myself, how am I supposed to stop what's coming?!) 

Her mother, Dr. Stacy, enters the room to make an assessment, look at Ana's medication and make a few notes on her medical records. It's already past midnight, Luke is still awake, sitting on the sofa in the VVip room, watching a basketball game on television, with the sound practically on mute, her mother picks up Luke's medication from the bag on the table, takes a glass of water and hands Luke the pill, saying: 

"Luke, it's past your bedtime, you need to sleep now, come on take this and turn off the TV." 

Luke doesn't feel tired, if he lets himself he'll go swimming in the pool, go for a walk, but his mother knows that he's still a 16-year-old boy, and he does need to rest, she waits for him to get the medicine and take it, she makes a more serious face, Luke looks at her and says: 

 "Are you talking like a mother, or a doctor?" 

She frowns and replies: 

 "Both, but the mother side has taken over now." 

Luke, without much choice, decides to comply, he takes the medicine and drinks it with water, his mother points for him to go and lie down on the bed, next to Ana, he threatens to go to Ana's bed, he laughs, his mother remains serious, at least trying to be serious, she really loves him so much, both him and Justin, but she knows that Luke needs more attention, he lies down, she covers him, he mumbles: 

 "I'm not a baby anymore Mom, you don't have to cover me or wait for me to go to sleep..." 

Dr. Stacy strokes his head and replies: 

 "For a mother, children will always be babies, even when they're that big. Sleep well, darling, I'll be at the desk filling out some charts." 

Before he can say anything else, she says: 

 "I get paid to stay awake, it's different, now go to sleep." 

On Saturday morning, Ana wakes up feeling fine, and once her diagnosis is finalized, she ends up telling only Dr. Stacy what really happened. Stacy what really happened, she was drugged and is almost certain it was by Caroline, but she has no concrete proof of this, she is discharged from hospital and decides to go home, instead of the Becker's house, after all she already thinks she has caused enough trouble for a single day, she is very upset because on Monday there will be the Election Debate, but she intends to give up, if Caroline has really harmed her in some way, but she needs to gather real evidence, and take it to the Student Council, this may take a bit of work, but Ana will not just forget about it, whether she wants to or not will also affect her friendship with Scoot in some way.
