Three days passed by and we reached the city. It was smaller than the other one and I could see the wall around the place. The place looked more like a village than a city. As soon as we stepped through the gate, there was a poster of me Han and Pearl and under it it said five hundred thousand Cadins which I didn't know the worth of. "We need robes or we'd have to change our appearance" I said slightly tilting my head down. If the guards saw us or some bounty hunters did, we'd probably be killed or imprisoned. Han ripped off the posters and threw them in a nearby bin. "Let's just take them off" he said. It was a decent idea and so through the rest of the day, we ripped the ones we saw.

The next morning came and I stole some blankets which we used like robe to hide our faces. I sat on the street and took out my guitar. I began to play a song from the capital. Some people dropped money inside and I had about five hundred Cadins which was enough for me to buy five bottles of water or two pieces of Goat meat. I bought a piece of goat meat and two bottles of water which left me penniless. I went back into our house and sat down. Life was hard, harder than I thought. The last three months were crazy and now I was an enemy of a whole kingdom. I don't think any mom would be happy about there son doing that. I got back up and looked out of the window and into the city. It was full of smiling people. I wish I was one of them. Han and Pearl came back from doing something they didn't tell me about. Han dropped some money and said, "I've made about seven hundred Cadins.

I looked at the meat and remembered that I didn't know how to cook normally. I used to eat out at the capital and at the orphanage food was cooked for us. I looked at Han and Pearl and they shook their heads. "Fine I'll make a campfire somewhere outside" I said getting out. I gathered materials and made a campfire outside the village. As the meat cooked, I heard a sound in the bushes. Suddenly, a little boy and girl came out. As they stepped forward, I realised who they were. They were Appo and Artemi. "Hey, how did you get here?" I asked. They stayed silent and kept walking. They then started running and I felt something graze my arm. It reminded me of the bird which ran from something. I got up and followed them to the other end of the city. As they were about to run into the wall, they jumped up and began to fly. Maybe Gods existed. They flew away and were surrounded by a purple aura. I stopped trying to follow them, I couldn't. How could I reach them.

I went back and kept cooking the meat. When I came back to the house, the others were asleep. I cut a small part of the food and at my share then fell asleep on the table. I woke up the next morning and went outside to get money. I played a different song, something that only I'd heard before, the song of the cyclops. Instead of performing instantly, I wrote a song based on the footsteps of the cyclops near the waterfall. I tried to play it but failed for the first five times. On the sixth, I managed to perform the one minute long song that only I'd learnt. After three hours, I'd made enough to buy more food. I joined my money with Han's and bought two pieces and four bottles which left us with two hundred and fifty. I went back home and I'd decided to get stronger. Only then would I be able to reach Appo and Artemi and then I'd be able to stop the soldiers from killing anyone else like what they did to the farmer.

Han and Pearl came back again. He gave me money again and I went back out to cook some food. I looked into the bushes but nothing came out. I went back in and ate a bit then went to sleep. I woke up and took a walk. I'd been thinking of leaving this place. My mom obviously wasn't here. I couldn't see the park. I went back in and woke the others up. "Let's leave" I said. We packed up and at midday we left the city. I could finally take off the blanket since there was no one near us.

A week went by and there was no sign of land. On the eighth day we reached a desert area. In the distance, there was a structure. I regained hope and started running. I then remembered that Pearl couldn't and slowed down. Despite it being in our field of view, we still couldn't reach it by the time night came. We set a campfire up and ate the last of our food. "Wait, what's that?" asked Pearl. I turned to the side and saw a group of people in the distance. They must have been soldiers. We changed positions and they didn't which meant they weren't after us. I turned back and saw nothing. What were they after. I used the last of my materials and made another fire. We ate, looking at the soldiers. Hours passed by and we put out the fire and laid down flat in the dark. The soldiers passed by but didn't see us. They weren't part of Ithaca. They had big golden Armor and a red feather attached onto their helmets. They went into the forest and we sat back up. A small fire lit up and we saw another group of people. Pearl then said, "I think I know who they are... the Spartans".
