This wouldn't get me anywhere. I turned back and realised they were fighting the boar. I ran back to the orphanage and lifted the rocks. I found the office and realised that the papers were all ripped except for one. It was Han's paper which meant he was a resident. I looked back and saw Han running away. I pulled the paper up and shouted, "I am his brother!". The boar's attention still didn't come to me. It bashed Han's back and he fell onto the floor. I ran to Han as an arrow pierced the boar. I dragged him back and checked his back. Luckily he hadn't been pierced by it's tusks. He was still injured and couldn't move much. I hid him behind a stone slab and got back to my search. I looked around and the only place I could get a residential thing was go to the mansion. I sprinted towards it and climbed over the fence. Herma stood in front of the door as if he was waiting for me. "Herma, tell your dad to adopt me".

This was the only way that I could gain residence so then I could kill the boar who'd done this. He sighed and said, "Okay but he isn't home yet, it's three and he'll arrive by five thirty". I nodded but depending on the boar's durability, it could die before he arrived. I ran back to where I'd hid Han. Pearl was already there so I gave her my knife in case it came back to attack him. For now, I'd have to watch the two others and the boar in case they nearly killed it. It seemed unscathed and was still charging towards the swordsman. That slightly relieved me. I went back to the mansion but Herma was gone. I looked at the clock. It was three thirty four. I sat down and let an hour go by.

There were fifteen minutes left when I heard a shriek. I looked down at the city and realised it was the boar. I couldn't go out because it would take me fifteen to twenty minutes to arrive there. The boar was covered in blood even redder than it's fur. The swordsman lifted it's arm and buried it in it's back. The boar roared and shook it's body violently. He fell to the ground and the boar trampled his body. His armour broke and his eyes rolled back, and his face was left in a permanent image of fear. He was dead. The archer said something I couldn't her but shot a fiery arrow at it's head. I fell but got back up and charged at her. She narrowly dodged the beasts tusks but went flying into the bedroom of what used to be a house. "Why are you here Taragmenos?" said a deep voice. I turned back and saw a man who looked fifty. "Can you adopt me, I need to kill the boar" I said in a hurry. He grinned and nodded. "Okay, come with me" he said opening the gate. We went inside the room and he told me to sign some papers. I quickly signed it and gave it back to him. He put this signature and there it was. "Thanks!" I yelled pushing open the two big wooden doors and climbing over the fence again. I ran to Pearl and got my knife back then went to the battle field. The archer was hiding but the boar couldn't see her. It turned to me and charged. I breathed in and lifted the knife which had saved my life countless times. I leaped forward and stabbed it in the centre of it's head.

It fell onto the ground and groaned in pain. I grinned and stabbed it repeatedly. It was still alive so I kept going. Finally, it was dead, and so were many others. The swordsman and the residents were dead on the floor. Should I have helped them. No, it deserved to pay... it deserved to pay for all of this. From the swordsman to the civilians, it deserved all of that. I went back to the stone slab where Han and Pearl where. "I killed it" I said. She looked surprised but nodded.

"Han's alright and he can walk now, he's just sleeping" she said. I sighed in relief and ripped part of my clothes off. I wiped the blood off my knife and slipped it back in my pocket. I was destined to be a hero.

"Sleep at the mansion today, it's getting dark". I turned around and saw Herma smiling. I nodded and said, "Ok thanks". We went into the house and slept. The next morning came and Herma gave us a map for Troezen. It was relatively close to Thebes. We had to go back to Cadobu first for our reward then go to Troezen. I bought a ticket for the ride back so we didn't have to hide like the last three times. After three days we arrived back on Cadobu on another dock. I recognised it through the mountain where we'd seen the leopard. We went along the coast and by the end of four days we arrived at the underground. I went to the castle and showed the boar's tusk which I'd cut off for proof. "Very well now I shall reward you my bird's guidance" said Artemis. I nodded and left the castle. I still had enough money for a journey Troezen. We got the boat and travelled. It was a smaller cruise which had about three hundred passengers which was nothing compared to the other ones. We had a normal room which I wasn't used to since before we used the VIP rooms to hide. It had a pool, a bar and a decent viewing area from where I could see the sea in all it's glory. According to Artemis, the bird would squawk every time it saw danger away but it was also running away from something she didn't know so I couldn't rely on it too much.
