"Y-Y-Your highness," Anna stuttered as she brandished the sharp knife in her hand, still not sure what to do.
Prince Aaron flailed his arms outside, trying to be as quiet as possible. He was sweating for it was not easy to ride a horse in such a hurry all the way here and then evade each and every guard outside and then climb all the way up, only to meet a weapon carrying woman.
Anna opened the door, still cautious. She looked behind him and then stood in front of him, blocking his way. "I am sorry your highness, miss cannot see anyone right now," she scolded the prince in a hush voice. This man, he had guts to visit her miss when he was partially responsible for what happened to her.
"I just came to ask how she is doing. Is she alright? Has her fever gone?" Prince Aaron's eyes were fixed on the big bed and the small body lying there. He could see the blanket rise high and low, so he knew that she was breathing normally.
