Chapter 19- Reconciled and made my Alpha Cry

Huffing while fiddling with keys, Riki opened their apartment being followed inside by Thea.

"Why does your system just shuts down every time Symon says something? He was accusing you For god's sake. You are the leader of our pack, along with being a mafia boss, and have some self-respect. And if you are too much eager to get his attention, then give him some fucking time to adjust to this. Give him and yourself some space to pass this overwhelming stage which has disturbed the both of you." he huffs, stomping his legs as he sits down on the couch.

"I--Calm Down, my baby shark," she says, trying to divert the topic and not get her brother more furious- he is still half-sleepy, she reminds herself and gets him a glass of water.

"Let's start packing, I want to sleep, I miss my bed..." he says yawning and shaking himself.

"You rest here, I will pack your bags, do you want to have Almond milk?"

"Whipped cream on top with ice cubes"

"Okay, your highness."

As soon as he finished it, he slept like a baby.

Entering the door without knocking, after he followed his omega upstairs, a huffing Zen came and sat down beside his sleepy mate.

"Riki? love? please don't go... I will miss you." he said, pecking his mate's forehead, receiving a whine in return.

Still not realizing who is holding him, Riki turns away and faces the other side, making the Alpha chuckle a bit at his habits. his eyes were holding so much love and affection for his omega, getting teary with the passing of time, as he caressed his omega's cheeks and cuddled him. Thea was watching this from her room's door. She smelled Zen, as soon as he entered and was rather shocked and relieved to see this.

Can an Alpha be this teary and caring over his omega? She didn't know it. All her life, she was trained to be a better hardheaded tough Alpha and had never witnessed the soft things that mates do for each other. Neither her parents nor the people around her showed any public display of affection towards each other, the others always being afraid of her parent's strict punishments if they somehow did show affection towards their mate in front of their kids.

The reason for her being Restless to find a mate was the same- wanting to experience what love is and how the bond works.

She then started to pack the luggage, even hers for a night or two to convince her brother to let her return. That's when another scent hit her, it was her omega. Her mate is here. Impulsively, she started to run towards the door, when Riki's previous words rang in her ears. She will give some space and time to her omega, and try to be less impulsive and fidgety around him.

Finishing the packing, she steps out of the room, to find her mate taking a few pictures of the two cuddling sleepy mates, smiling at that.

Unaware of his eyes on her and the luggage, she moves towards the kitchen and brings out juice for her mate.

"Hey, here"

"Thanks... I-- I am sorry, I didn't mean it like that, I was just-- my tone came out totally opposite of what it was supposed to come out as. That was totally rude of me to blabber it out without processing it." he says, ducking his head down, not wanting to face his Alpha.

"It's okay, I accept your apology. Sorry on behalf of my brother, he was half asleep and quite just said whatever his instincts told him to and scared you."

"No, No don't. I would have said this in my fully awake state if I heard this statement from anyone else. He is fully correct, I was just confused as he was hurt and happy that you weren't but then uh... I remembered my birthday and my tone got deceiving and harsh." he tries trying to explain himself to his Alpha, and his choice of words were yet again jumbled and confusing, he concludes as he watches his Alpha graze on her brother.

"It's fine like I said earlier, you were and are still probably tired, we had a long day...Please wake Zen up, I have to drop Riki off with our family."

"Will you too go and stay with your family... till Riki recovers?"

Is he getting attached to me? what are you my omega? turning your sweetness on and off since the morning?

"No, Will just drop him and stay for a day or two till he lets me return."

"So, you are indeed moving back home?" he was upset, if only he could have processed his words, at least he could feel his Alpha's presence around him.

"Yes.."

After the comfortable and saddening silence, Symon pops his neck and tries to wake up his brother.

"Zen, Wake up."

"Zen?"

"Wake up, ZEN"

"What happened to you RIKI?!!? Why are you BLEEDING?!"

Well, that ought to work, after many straightforward tries.

"What? WHAT?" Zen says, looking around still not realizing he still had his mates in his arms.

"DON'T MOVE YOU SHIT!! LET. ME. SLEEP," shouted Riki, still half asleep, and half angered as always.

"AHHHHH"

"AHHHHHHH" shrieked both the mates, one after the scream and watching their mate angry, while the other just as a reflex.

"1..2..3..4..-"

"Thea?" came the whisper of Riki

"yes."

"Ihaveembarrasedmyselfenoughandwouldliketobeescortedoutandbeinmyownbedwheremymateisnotlookinglikehesawmelikethis.stilltooearlyforbeingangryonhim.wenotyetmated"

"Consider it done."

"Zen? leave your mate's arm. They have to leave now," said Symon stifling his laughter.

Leaving his arm zen stands up and stares at his mate for a while.

"ZEN, baby leave me. I will be coming to the office tomorrow during the lunch break. It's not goodbye, you have to still call me every night and on breaks. okay? Now. Leave me, you big Alpha, or I might really disappear to somewhere where you can't even see a glimpse of me." Riki huffs out at the end.
