CHAPTER XI: PROPOSAL (2)
Dwayne's face saddened when he heard the proposal. They will be back together, Why am i feeling sad? I'm supposed to be happy for him. But the thoughts in his mind cuts off when he heard a desk was slammed. He looked at it and saw kaiden with a clenched fist.
"Listen to this old man, I don't care for your partnership" Kaiden looked at the old man with a sharp eyes.
"Why? You and my daughter used to be together?" Mr. Rilley said and a smirk on his face.
"yeah we USED to be together but now we are nothing but strangers" Kaiden emphasized the word "used".
"Now, get out, and I won't sign any contract for your f*cking partnership" Kaiden announced that made Mr. Rilley change his expression. Mr. Rilley marched to the door and get out of the office.
Dwayne felt happiness because kaiden declined the proposal.
"Are you fine, sir? you need to clam down now" Dwayne said, scrubbing his boss's back.
"I'm fine and I'm calm" Kaiden replied with consoling him.
"I will go back to my desk now"
"Okay" kaiden replied.
Kaiden sigh, What the hell did that old man thinks? He will agree to get back together with his daughter who just cheated on him just for the partnership? I'm not that insane to do that kind of sh*t.
He dialed Paul's number, after some rings his friend picks up his phone.
"Hey, what's up?" Paul asked when he answered his phone call.
"I need to discuss something go to my office" Kaiden said and ended the call.
Kaiden mentally face palm when he saw that his five friends marching towards his desk, he looked at Paul with a sharp eyes like a dagger.
"Why did you bring the others here?" Kaiden asked and let out a sigh.
"Well, they hear us talking and they said they want to go as well" Paul shrugged his shoulders.
He groaned, "Whatever, Mr. Rilley, himself proposing a partnership and he also said that me and his daughter Hannah should be go back together" Kaiden stated.
"we all know that you won't agree to it and you won't accept it anyway" Chris said and take a sip of his coffee.
"Yeah chris is right you won't take it anyway, so you don't have to be worried" Kyle said solacing kaiden.
"I'm not worried about the partnership, I'm worried about Dwayne, Hannah might hurt him again" Kaiden stated with fear on his face.
"Don't worry for your wife" Jaypee said.
Kaiden sigh. "Stop being a bothered husband, dre" Chris said, kaiden hit him that made his friends laugh.
"Stop pissing me off Chris Laurence" Kaiden said and glared his friend.
Chris lifted his arms a sign of relinquish.
"Copy, Sir, I stop pissing you off just for today of course" Chris said and laugh.
He looked at Dwayne's spot and smile when he saw his cute face.
"Stop smiling like an idiot" Kaiden's smile faded and shot an eye to Darsh.
"Dre, Do you have a feelings for your Secretary?" Kyle said in a serious tone.
Kaiden sigh, he, himself doesn't even know the answer about that "I don't know" Kaiden said.
"Dre, don't worry we're not going to dumped you" Chris said.
"Well what made all of you think that i like him?" Kaiden asked curious.
"Well, first, you let him touch you " Chris replied.
"You let him in to your library and music room and even give him a book for him to read" Jaypee added.
"You give him a ride and sent him to his condo" Darsh stated.
"You didn't have a thought to fired him when he doesn't follow your own rule" Paul verbalized.
"And the last one, you looked angry as dragon, when Hannah hurt him and now you are worried because Hannah might do it agan" Kyle uttered.
"So yeah, that's our reason" Kyle said, Kaiden sigh in confusion.
"We got to go, everything will be fine don't think too much, idiot" Paul said laughing.
Kaiden tsked and waved his hand to his friend. He looked to Dwayne and he smiled, do I really like him? f*ck i don't know.
