Chapter -10

Mitsuri explained her story to everyone sitting.

There was a silence for few good minutes. It was rather awkward silence. "Mitsuri san if someone marry someone aren't both of them supposed to accept each other including their flaws. If they couldn't even accept that in you then they don't deserve to marry you." Kenji spoke.

Aoi also nodded "Yes, if they couldn't even accept your rare hair colour then they don't deserve you." Kanao keeps silent meanwhile those three girls also stayed silent.

Mitsuri looks at both Aoi and kenji "You think so?" She said in hopeful tone.

Aoi nodded and kenji said "Yes, I mean you are pretty and you are strong too. Your personality is good too, how can anyone ask for more?"

Mitsuri gave a good bright happy smile. "Thank you, I was always insecure about finding a husband."

Aoi, kenji, trio girl and kanao smiled even though kanao was smiling from the start but she still did.

After few moments. Kenji moved from his place and walked towards the patient bed. Slowly everyone walked towards their room leaving Mitsuri alone.

Mitsuri was looking at place where kenji was sitting and had an idea. She moved towards the bed where kenji was.

She saw him sleeping peacefully on the bed. She stared at him while giggling and smiling. 'He looks so cute while sleeping '

She continues to stare at him whole night while giggling and smiling creepily.

Soon it was morning and he woke up. Seeing him waking up, Mitsuri rushed away. Kenji who just woke up looked at clock and thought 'Man..this much sleep. I slept for whole 10 hours and still feel tired.'

He got out of the bed.

Meanwhile Shinobu came back from her mission. Both Mitsuri and Shinobu were sleepy right now as the former kept staring at kenji for whole night and the latter was on a mission.

He came into the kitchen and saw Aoi making food and trio girl helping her. "May I make the food today as my thanks?" He said while looking at them.

Aoi looks at him"You know how to cook?" He nodded in agreement. "Ok you can but make sure to be careful."

He wore an apron and started to cook. 'Let's make Sushi, Onigiri and Omurice.'

Everyone entered the dining area, Shinobu asked "Ara~ is Kenji the one who is cooking today?"

She said while looking at him who was cooking and then back to Aoi. "Yes, he said it was as a thanks."

"He did say that yesterday." Said Shinobu while remembering yesterday talk with Mitsuri. She looks at Mitsuri who had dark circles but she seemed oddly...happy?.

"You didn't sleep at night Mitsuri sama?" Aoi asked.

"No I did sleep." Mitsuri said while averting her eyes. She was lying it was clear to everyone but they didn't ask more as it might be something personal.

"So~ what happened while I was away on mission." Shinobu asked to Aoi.

Aoi thinks for a bit before telling Shinobu everything that happened. From their competition to Mitsuri motivational speech to uhh...more motivation.

Shinobu listened intently to everything Aoi said. Even though she knew about Mitsuri past which Mitsuri herself told her. Only her and the third female hashira Iguro obanai knew about her past. (A/n:- Iguro obanai gender bender but the name is same.)

Kenji who finished cooking brought all the dishes to the table. They looked really delicious but the thing that looks more delicious in Shinobu and Mitsuri eyes is....kenji.

He who was wearing an apron while his hair was a bit messy as they were really long. He made a lot of food as Aoi told him about the appetite of Mitsuri.

He also sat on the table after removing the apron. Everyone was staring at him. "What?"

They didn't reply and kept staring at him until Aoi spoke "Alright let's eat."

They all nodded and started to eat. After the eating. Shinobu said "Kenji your training will start from today so be ready in few hours. I am still tired from my mission so after i rest for a bit your training will start."

He nodded "But can't Aoi train me while you rest."

Aoi interjected. "Wait, your arm is still injured. How are you gonna train with an injured arm?"

"Right. I didn't told you but my arm is already healed. Here take a look." He said and showed her his arm. "You didn't suspect it when I asked to cook?"

"That...I forgot. But how did your arm heal so fast."

"I guess my natural healing is faster."

Aoi still didn't look convinced but still decided to stay quiet as Shinobu didn't say anything so she decided to not say anything too.

Sigh writing slice of life is such a pain in the ass. It was a short chapter as these 10 chapters were like prologue.

The main story would start from next chapter. You know training, joining corps and stuff.

Don't be surprised if he grows too strong in 5 months as he have yorichi talent but I still wanted to ask how much stronger do you think he would get in 5 months with yorichi talent?
