A beating

While Alexander was having breakfast with his family, his sister who was on a mission came back, she did not look good, once back in the residence and after a quick hello, she went straight to her room.

Alexander: what is her problem ?

The same evening, Isabella went to jhon's office to discuss something, it turns out that one of her friend was almost abused in the middle of a dungeon, the person responsible was the future clan head of the Cooper family, the young man had joined their group as their fifth comrade who was injured during the previous explorations.

young thomas was a level 1 mage at 30 years of age, so they accepted him in the team even if he had a bad reputation of harassing and abusing the young women of the academy

At one  against four , they thought they would be safe , that Thomas Cooper would not try anything.

at first everything went  well, thomas was a fire type mage, he fulfilled his role, no wonder that he is the future clan chief of the Cooper family, the others thought  to themselves but the whole group at one point found themselves injured because of a mountain troll, once injured and their guards lowered Thomas took the opportunity to put something in the cup of one of the girls, Monica

fortunately the person on duty noticed Thomas  when he tried to enter Monica's tent that night and was stopped by her

the next morning Monica was pale because all night she couldn't move while She stayed conscious, her memories were fuzzy, once she told that to the others, they all understood that Thomas wanted to abuse Monica, luckily the other girl prevented his sinister action

Isabella first wanted to attack thomas and castrate him but she quickly calmed down, the Cooper family was a level 4 family and the  branch of an even more powerful level 5 family, even if the Davis family had 10,000 years of History, their best fighter was only a  level 3 mage, the mages in The others families were only level 2 or 1, she was powerless

they kicked thomas of the group the same day and Isabella came home to discuss with the situation with  jhon and see if there was a solution, Jhon couldn't do anything, he had to suffer and wait to be more powerful, that's what he said to Isabella.

The same day, the great great great (great great) grandfather of Thomas, Owen Cooper accompanied by his grandchild  came knocking on the door

it was the only time that  Alexander saw the old warrior of the Davis family, Richard Davis He was well built, with  white hairs, a white beard, eyes full of vitality and wisdom, if he was not level 4 himself Alexander would indeed be impressed by this old man.

With a closer inspection he noticed that richard was a level 3-advanced, close to  level 3 pinnacle

it would be a great opportunity if he was not who he was, Isabella refused on the spot, a refusal so clear that it offended the level 4 of the Cooper family.

Richard had to surpass himself mentally so as not to make the old level 4 declare attack them on the spot, Isabella then apologized for her refusal and went to her room without taking social etiquette into account.

knowing that Isabella would never agree to marry Thomas, Owen talked about another subject, the mysterious cube that the Davis family had bought at the auction.

He first asked to see the cube , of course, Richard absolutely did not want to let him approach the cube but what could he do against a level 4? So he brought him the Cube in a linen fabric, once Owen's gaze fell on the cube, it didn't move .

after 1 hour of intense discussion where Owen tried by all means to buy the cube offering  500 million or 600 million gold coins and  Richard who kept  refusing, Owen began to threaten the Davis family

The cube could significantly increase the concentration of the elements in its surroundings, so it was a great treasure that Owen wanted at all costs, he could use it to increase his level or even offer it to the level 5 magician and win a big favor, it was out of the question to leave without this cube and that Richard understood it to

Richard wanted to flee with the cube  but what will happen to his family? They will end up slaves or even worse, he could not do that, the only way out was to seek protection from a family more powerful and offer the cube as a gift thus gaining great merit or he can seek to be a subordinate of the Cooper family but taking into account their reputation, Richard immediately suppressed this idea

The question was could he get rid of Owen Cooper to seek protection from another family, he had some families in mind but Owen had to leave first.

Owen also knew that and he was not stupid, if he let this cube leave his sight today, he would surely never see it again.

A silent battle ensued between Owen and Richard where one tried to find excuses to leave and the other tried to stay at all costs.

Alexander also understood all this but what could he do? He wasn't level 5 yet and he didn't have a 100% guarantee that he could kill Owen Cooper, 

if he was 100% sure he could handle Owen, he would have killed him and fled with the Davis family but if he missed and if Owen managed to escape then the Davis family would be in big trouble, Owen could ask the assistance of a  high level mage  and then hunt down the Davis family

aware that there were plenty of level 0  and 1 mages in the family, Alexander couldn't take that risk

And suddenly he had an idea, a very simple idea and the solution to all his problems, he first went to his room, put on a mask and a black outfit and cape and went to knock on the door of the Davis residence

he directly activated his level 4 aura, Richard apologized, put the cube in his pocket and went directly to see who it was, he was closely followed by Owen who didn't want to give him the opportunity to hide the cube.

As soon as he saw richard , Alexander launched an attack, without giving him the time to understand what was happening, Alexander activated the spell cloud of darkness, and rushed directly at him, Richard who saw an enemy attacking him attacked in return but he could do anything against Alexander

Owen seeing this also attacked Alexander, leaving the cube to someone else was not a possibility.

A short battle followed where Alexander attacked Richard and blocked Owen's attacks, we must not forget that Alexander with the system is 3 to 4 times more powerful then other magicians at the same level so it was easy for him to overpower Owen and Richard

Once Richard was almost dead and Owen half dead, Alexander took the cube and disappeared into the forest, no one could chase him because no one stayed in the vicinity , everyone hid Somewhere as level 4 attacks were no joke

Alexander didn't kill  Owen or Thomas because the Cooper family would blame the Davis family for their deaths.

Alexander therefore fled into the forest took some the respentine( a plant who hide one's aura) and returned to his room, he opened the door to see that everyone was shocked, he may have used to much strength , half of the mansion was destroyed

Richard and Owen were vomiting blood in a corner, some peoples even started to cry, so he behaved like a child of his age and ran into his mother's arms seeking comfort
