The galloping horses causes the ground to shake. Bandits could be seen coming from the mountain slope. They were so many of them that it put pressure to the entire house. The family of three felt such heavy pressure. How could they possible fight against such large group of bandits, the bandits were around 30 in total.
Without wasting more time Dravi commanded Dave to open the trap door in their room just below the bed. Inside the trap door is a 5 square meter of area in diameter, with extra food and swords stored within.
Dravi dragged Milia to the trap door quickly, afraid that they will spot his wife after all bandits were know for their immoral actions towards women. Who would want for their wife to be violated? NONE! Except for those weirdos in the capital.
"Prepare, Son! This might be the day you kill someone but at long as you are protecting someone then you are fighting for the reasonable cause." Dravi said. Holding his sword tightly, waiting for the perpect moment to pounce on his first victim.
"The world outside is evil, son. Remember that!" Dravi added to ensure that his son will not have any naive ideas and act hero and save the bad guys instead of killing them.
The bandits have begun to encircle the entire house. Variety of weapons were hanging on their straps, some sharp and some rusty, some of them are tall some are burly.
"Those are alot of livestocks!" A bandit said.
"Indeed, you could survive for 3 month with that amount of livestock!" Another bandit said.
"Silence!" A voice reverberated which silence the crowd. It was obviously the captain that said it. He was a tall and muscular man around 6'5ft tall.
"We know you're in there. We come in peace, as long as you hand over all your savings and expensive items then we will leave this place as fast as we came. Oh and we will be taking the entire livestock as well!" The captain continued with a laugh.
""HAHA"" the laugher of the entire band of bandits echoed through the land.
After a moment of laughter comes the moment of awkward silence. After receiving no reply the captain got irritate. Who wouldn't be? Declaring yourself, a captain of a large bandit in front of some outcast commoners yet the commoners did not reply made his ego fall down.
"Someone go break that door down for me!" The captain issued a command, pointing his sword at the cabin.
"I'll go captain!" A bandit came rushing forward.
He went down from his horse. The bandit came to door but before he could break the door down it suddenly creaked open and a sword slash towards his neck. It was so fast that he could not evade it. He turned around holding his neck before kneeling down and lay flat to the floor with a loud thud! Blood was oozing out from his neck.
Dravi who opened the door was staring at the captain and because its already dark only a portion of his body was illuminated by the lamp in the porch. He looked very menacing, a splash of blood on his face as he stared directly at the captain.
The bandits were shocked before rushing towards Dravi. After seeing a companion fall they rushed swiftly to Dravi.
