Chapter 4

Mariam sat down on the floor and started crying , crying out all the pain and anger she's feeling right now . Tears streaming down her dark skin nonstop.

She stayed there for minutes crying . Some people sat 'the way of tears is the way to comfort ' and that's what she's doing now .

She was deeply crying that she didn't that notice that Ahmad is standing in front of her now .

  He usually comes to the place for fresh air but he was shocked to see the receptionist crying , he never intended on making her cry . He couldn't believe that small warning he gave her made her cry like this .

    " look ..... I don't know why you're crying but you've to get back to work " Ahmad said to the girl that didn't even raise her head to look at him . Ahmad sighed before outstretching his hand to give her a handkerchief.

     Mariam refused to collect it so he dropped it on her head , she carried it  after some seconds and cleaned her tears with the white handkerchief.

Ahmad waited for her to calm down before reaching out for his phone . He pressed some digits and called Amar .

"Amaru come and carry your wife "

" yes she's having a day off for today only "

"Yes alright "

He hung up the call and put his phone back into his pocket .

       "He's coming to take you home " Ahmad said to Mariam who is already standing up now .

  " thank you " She said and outstretched her hand to give him back his handkerchief.

        "Keep it ... you need it more because I don't cry " Ahmad said before leaving the place .

Mariam shrugged and ignored the last sentence he said . She went down and carried her bag , she then went out of the building and saw Amar standing beside his blue worn out Peugeot .

He quickly walked to her  and stood in front of her .

   Mariam totally ignored his presence and stopped a taxi , she then entered inside and the taxi driver started driving the car.
