Two weeks passed since my encounter with Tyler. In the first week, I would see him a few times, and we would greet each other with a wave. Even though we agreed to be friends, it was weird considering the relationship we had.
I didn't see him at all in the second week. I heard from Rachel that Tyler moved into his new house a week ago. I was happy for him, but I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach at the thought of not seeing him on a regular basis. On the other hand, I was glad. The less I see of him will allow this weird feeling to die down completely so that I can get on with my life.
Today was Saturday, and I had planned to meet up with Tori for lunch. She works half-day on a Saturday, so we normally take this day to meet up. We met up at our usual little diner where we ordered a light lunch.
"So, have you seen Tyler as yet?" She asked after we finished eating our sandwiches and catching up about our lives.
"Yes," I answered, taking a sip of my cold lemonade.
