Loneliness

"The sun had already begun to set as I walked back to my hut. The sky had a mix of red, orange and yellow. By the time I made it to my hut it was completely dark and the only light I had was from the old, tiny, broken lamp beside me, but even so that could barely light up the whole room. As I waited in front of the fire, cuddling myself tightly to keep warm from the frigid air, my eyes started to become weaker every second until I couldn't even keep it open for any longer. By the time I woke up it was still early in the morning, so I decided to go outside to get some fresh air. It was completely silent then suddenly a soft, light breeze brushed through my hair. Without even thinking I started to shout all my problems away as if they've vanished into mid air. My shoulders became lighter as my guilt started to fade. I took my last glance at the stunning sun and realised that I've been standing here for quite some time like they say, 'time flies in a blink of an eye.'
