The moment I became conscious, the splitting headache that accompanied me made me want to faint all over again but I didn't as I quickly scrambled to my feet looking around to see what sort of anger I was in.

It was only when I saw nothing around that I looked down at my body, beyond shocked to see all my injuries completely healed and my body become slightly changed.

I was beyond ecstatic. I not only didn't die but the status of  my body somehow improved.

"I'm buff.." I wondered out loud touching the muscles on my naked chest as I stood on my feet, shocked to feel that I was indeed slightly taller than before.

The muscles of my arms and legs were also no longer as skinny as before, as I looked down to see that they were bigger and much more toned.

I was curious to see my face but the moment my gaze landed on the dead corpse of the transformation beast beside me, my eyes grew colder and my joy dulled.

At that exact moment, I could feel more of my environment and I felt the beasts that surrounded me even though they refused to step out of their cover in the forest around me.

I had no idea why but I had no intention of staying around to find out as I flew out of the forest the next second, as fast as my legs could carry me, a little surprised to see how agile I had become as I practically flew out of there.

It was until I got to the edge of the first that I realized that I was completely naked, glad to find my discarded robe which the beast had taken off at the edge of the forest before leading me back in.

Even though I had no pants, the robe I wore was just barely good enough to cover my dick, which I found to be slightly bigger than before, a fact that again surprised me and delighted me seeing as how the agonizing pain I felt was somehow worth it.

"So her mana core had in fact been in her heart…" I thought as I looked up to see that the sun had already set and chose to go back to my home just when it was dark enough that I wouldn't be clearly seen.

But I had just sat down at the edge of the forest to wait when I unexpectedly saw a small floating window appear in front of me, one that made me smile so widely I felt my cheeks ache.

The moment I finally calmed down, after trying to figure out how far away the deity realm was and why I had never heard of it, I concentrated on the two options above it, realizing why the village chief and his son could easily hand out pennies since they had also reached the final core.

"I'll figure out how much to set to give later on but right now I'm hungry," I sighed, getting to my feet, and moving out of the forest the next second.

I began walking past the empty fields, glad to see how easy it was compared to how weak I would feel if I did such a minute thing before.

My first thought was to go to the mana exchange office to exchange for some coins but when I realized that just because it was dark didn't mean that I wouldn't get caught moving around pointless, I quickly made my way straight to my house.

I opened the door and entered, not surprised to see Moey already standing in the dinning, arranging supper on the table when I did.

"I was starting to think something has happened…" she began to say only to pause the moment she fully laid eyes on me, her eyes glancing through every part including my life section that was barely covered.

"What happened to you?" I finally heard her belt out when she regained her ability to talk, dropping whatever pot she had been carrying on the table and instantly walking towards me.

"You look so much better, taller and healthier. If I wasn't completely sure I would begin to doubt whether or not you were actually my son," She said, raising her hands to touch my face and my shoulders and chest until she was satisfied.

"You look tired and you stink of something…I don't know what it is. Go in and take your bath before coming out for dinner," she instructed moving to allow me to leave and I couldn't be more thankful since I had been wracking my head for an excuse for my sudden change.

"Yes Moey," I told her as I made my way back to my room.

I entered and I instantly sighed when I saw the bright lantern already placed in the room with Nami, sitting on the bed counting a few bronze coins in her hands.

The moment I entered she of course quickly covered them up only to raise her face to look at him.

I could tell the exact moment she was stunned and did a double take as she stared at me even more for a few extra seconds before she finally opened her mouth to speak.

"What did you do? You looked like you grew in the space of half a day…"

"I almost died…" I honestly answered even as I grabbed the sheet I usually used as a towel and headed straight for the bathroom with my huge toned legs on full display, feeling Nami's eyes deeply glued to them.

"I'm serious…" she yelled back but by then I had already entered the bath area and closed the door behind me.

I was happy and dead ass tired but I still needed to find a good excuse in my head to give them, later at the dining table when they all collectively asked me.

"I'll probably tell them that I found a lucky flower…" I thought as I began to take my bath, while also considering whether or not I could tell them the actual truth.
