Chapter Four: First Lessons

Y/n's pov

I went to Lloyds room to 'let of some steam'. As fun as being able to transform into a unstoppable monster is it comes with it's 'prices and urges' some of which are 'sensual'. After that awkward event it was basically night. Lloyd enters the room and leans on the doorframe. "You could just sleep in the bed." Lloyd stated factually. "Uh I don't m-mind sharing the bed with you. Just stay on your side. please?" I said. "Got it." Lloyd returned.

Timeskip

Lloyd's pov

I woke up only to feel a warmth against my chest and I soon realised it was Y/n. The hypocrite had his arm wrapped around my waist and my head in the crook of his neck. Out of me and Y/n He's definitely taller but I'm a bit I assume I'm more muscular because he doesn't really look like he's all that well fed. The feeling of my friend being badly treated is cold and uncomfortable but he's here now so master Wu will probably help him get better.

I would be lying if I didn't say I was comfortable. Y/n's body is really warm and his gentle breaths made me feel relaxed. 'By the way Y/n snores... But it's a quiet and cute snore...'

Just then he made a low groan and shifted. It would most likely be awkward if I told him 'hey I've been watching you sleep for like five minutes' so I instantly closed my eyes.

Y/n's pov

I haven't slept like that in months. Im usually running from someone with a grudge. But when I looked down. Lloyd was right next to me. Touching me. But I felt different instead of insecure or threatened, i felt comfort and safe and I'll be the first to admit. I can tell he's awake. He was always bad at faking it when we were kids.

"So you getting up or what." I asked.

"How did you know?" Lloyd responded. I simply grinned and he rolled his eyes. I could always tell his bad acting but my perception was honed in the assassin's guild.

We got up and i went to train with Wu, entering the room all the ninja were surrounding me and Wu asked "Are you ready?" In his calm tone. "Yeah?" I responded questioning my current position. "No powers this is a test of skill and strength" At announced and of course Kai was the first to jump at me knocking me to the floor. "Grrrr" i growl under my breath at the pain. This continued for an hour, me just getting battered by them. "ENOUGH!" I yelled ferociously.

I stood and violently forced my arms up and all five ninja raised from the ground in a cloud of black mist. Wu shouted me to stop but I couldn't I wasn't in control anymore, i was panicking so I slammed my hands to the ground flinging them into the walls of the room.

"What the hell is the point of this when I can just do this!" I shouted at Wu in frustration. "You won't be able to count on your powers all the time." Wu responded with anger. I tried coming up with a snarky response but he was right. "Uh, i don't need this..."

I walked out the room and to the top of the bounty just looking at clouds.

Time skip

I've been here for about two hours calming myself. I can here someone coming towards me. " I'm not ready Wu leave me alone." I say monotone.

"Are you ready for a friend." Lloyd's voice was easily recognisable but still I did not face him. " You realise it's getting cold right?" He questioned.

"I do not feel cold one of my many gifts I have..." I responded remaining monotone. " come on, come in please" he asked. "And go were..." I responded.

"M-my room?" He stuttered. 'Why?'. "F-fine, lead the way." I said with some emotion.

Time skip

No one's pov

Its been about a week since 'the issue' Y/n has gotten better. He's healthy and alot less jumpy in fact he's grown very fond of hugging Lloyd ever since he helped him with his contact issue. But now Y/n tends to take suspicious amounts of time in his room.

Lloyd's pov

I knocked on Y/n's door. Ever since he moved here he sleeps for hours. "Y/n it's time for training." I say sounding parently. "No!! Too tired." He answers. "Im coming in." I announce. Of course he's practically buried in his covers. "Come on get up." I ask. "Noooo." He whines. "Fine I'll get you up." I say.

Y/n's pov

Can't I have one day I'm so tired from training and plus my bed is so comfy.

But I was snapped out of my thought by getting picked up. "Lloyd put me down now." I demand. He was holding me bridal style, I blushed at this very sudden change. "Will you get up and get changed" he asks. Im less jumpy but I'm still not a fan of having someone else control my movement.

"Fine! Just put me down." I pleaded. I've never felt both more embarrassed and more vulnerable in my life. If it was Lloyd I'd probably throw him across the room. "Come on I get to train you today." Lloyd says. I instantly blush. "F-Fine." ' Again why does this keep happening.' We walk to the training room and Lloyd starts swinging. I dodge him fairly easily and push him so he's open to attacks but... I hesitate... Why... it's like I'm frozen. But I'm snapped out of it by Lloyd subduing me. "You shouldn't hesitate to attack it leaves you wide open" he says. "Really thanks for telling me I had no idea." I respond sarcastically. "Ok take a break." Lloyd orders. I just hum in response and head towards my room.

I mostly spend my time in my room because I'm kinda an introvert and it obvious the others don't trust me so I just tend to avoid them and just spend time with Lloyd or Zane. But I'm stopped by Lloyd. "Come on." Lloyd says. I give him a confused look.

"You can't keep avoiding the inevitable, you should get to know the others." He reassures. "Or I could just keep doing what I usually do." I answer. He gives me a unamused face.

"Why?" I ask. Lloyd doesnt respond. "Fine but you owe me for this." I feel defeated. "Haha fine." He laughs at my pitiful defeat.

I've got a bad feeling about this...
