Ch~Thirty>One: Sparring With Mythical Enemies.

Jae entered a comfortable stance to prepare for his battle. His gaze was quickly shifting between Sol and Soji and he was ready to defend at any given moment.

"I don't know why you wanna test your strength against us but be careful. I won't hold back" Soji's voice sound calmly behind Jae while Sol was in his front.

"Yea, me too! Just so you know, our earlier brawl wasn't really serious even though we ended up injured" Sol said. He activated his True Lucan Bloodline Hunter Ability and the same goes for Soji who had also activated his True Vampyre Bloodline Hunter Ability.

Jae focused on the duo and then, after a slight tense moment, the battle began.

Soji disappeared from his original spot and arrived in front of Jae in an instant and slashed his head.

"Such speed!!!" Shocked, Jae quickly made Hand Seals -[Body Replacement Jutsu]

He got replaced by a nearby stone that got sliced by Soji. He was about to counter attack when Sol appeared in front of him.

"Don't forget about me! " Sol threw a punch at Jae and shouted [Iron Fist]. Jae quickly made Hand Seals and a blue curtain of water appeared in front of him.

Sol's fist collided with the Water Curtain Jutsu and immediately spread cracks on its surface. Thankfully, Jae had already escaped from there and made a huge distance between them.

Panting a little, Jae can now understand the power of a higher level opponent. Even though he was taking two at a time. It was already impressive. Seeing that the duo had no intention of attacking, he then calmed his breathe and stabilized himself. His face donned a grin as he looked at the duo who were also grinning at him.

"Now that you understand little bit of our ability, I suggest you get serious" Soji said calmly. Suddenly, he started releasing red aura that covered his body from head to toe. The same goes to Sol whose entire body was releasing a blue aura. Their aura, combined, was quite strong.

'Damn! This is awesome. I haven't learnt any Kenjutsu so swords would be ineffective against them. I could use kunais and shurikens to distract and harass Sol while I use my new untested skill, [Light Steps] to deal with Soji. Once I deal with him, I can then focus on Sol. I should use my Ninjutsu against them from time to time so I can integrate them in my battles. I should also find a way to test my new Taijutsu' Jae immediately made a small plan. He then saw the duo making their move.

They dashed forward to attack him. Jae quickly made Hand Seals and casted [Fire Style - Fireball Jutsu]. He spew out a meter sized ball of fire at the approaching duo, using the flame to block their view and at the same time, he created a clone of himself before he made another hand seals and transformed into a small rock a little bit farther away from them.

Far away from the battle, on a tree, Jackie watched Jae's moves and smiled a bit. "This brat.... he's underestimating the senses of a werewolf and vampire"

Sol and Soji blew apart the fireball and appeared to see Jae running towards them. Being the faster one, Soji instantly kicked Jae who suddenly popped into smokes.

"Something ain't right" Sol said confused.

'[Light Step Skill]'

As his foot touched the ground, he suddenly experienced a feeling of lightness, as if he was bouncing quickly, making him take leaping sprint.

*Swish*

Immediately Jae appeared behind Sol and thrust his fist forward. Soji immediately reacted by pushing Sol behind him and retaliating with his own fist when he suddenly saw the smirk on Jae's face.

His senses were warning him to dodge and so he did just that as he saw Jae putting his two fingers beside his mouth and released a fireball from his mouth. While he successfully dodged, his wolf mate behind him couldn't react faster and got slammed by a fireball that threw him off his feet.

Soji immediately turned his attention back to Jae who had threw out a firm fist. Soji dodged it and punched back but was surprised when Jae easily caught his fist, rather, Jae blocked his fist with his palm and easily neutralized the force in it.

'[Taijutsu - Hard and Soft Strokes]' Jae said in his mind and started attacking Soji with his new Taijutsu which was quite effective as Soji couldn't gain an upper hand against him at this point.

Every punches and kicks Soji releases are either getting absorbed or redirected by Jae using his palms. Not only that, Jae's punches were hard to defend against. He was only keeping up with Soji because of his speed advantage.

Jae kicked away the distracted Soji and threw many shurikens at him. Then he quickly slid backwards as a huge crater appeared on his previous spot. Sol could be seen kneeling down with his fist on the ground.

Jae quickly distanced himself from the duo. He was panting very hard. His chakra is low because of his Skill and Jutsu usage. He was tattered all over from the battle. The duo, although also tattered a little, apart from little panting, they seem to be okay.

"Guys, you are really strong, you guys are just giving me pressure. But still, the fight isn't over, I am still standing" Jae said as he started making Hand Seals.

Lightning chakra appeared on his body as electricity was crackling on his body. Muttering lightly "[Lightning Style - Lightning Overdrive Jutsu]"

With this, Jae didn't say any thing and just dashed towards the duo. The duo also approached Jae and another round started.

[One Minute Later]

An extremely exhausted Jae fell to the ground in pain while looking at the Mythical Enemies hovering above him with a smile on their faces.

"Nice show, boring but nice" *Clapping*

Jackie walked over while clapping. He had a small smile on his face as he came near.

"Really? What do you think?" Jae asked.

"Well, you guys fought cutely and nice. Just that it was boring. If it wasn't for the fireball I saw, I would have thought I was watching a kid fight"

"..." Jae

"..." Sol

"..." Soji

"Anyway, Jae meet me later to collect your rewards from the mission and get stronger. All of you guys to get stronger because next month, you guys are going to enter your very first Realm Crack!" Jackie said with a smirk. Then he turn around and left.

Jae started at his departing back for a while while thinking "Is he always this weird?"
