Lily's POV

After our classes for the day ended, our homeroom professor, Alan Equinor, a man with a somewhat handsome face and an S rank, sounded annoyed as he said to us "Those of you who haven't submitted the team list yet must do so by tomorrow, or else you will be fined."

Today is Aestiva 33, 2314, marking the 19th day since the opening ceremony, and I still haven't confirmed a single member for my team. All my friends have already formed their teams, and I feel like a sore thumb sticking out. Arghhh, I'm so embarrassed I want to die, well, not really.

Jokes aside, I really have to find a team right NOW.

"Hello, if I may be so bold as to ask, is there someone in this class with the path of Mage who is still not in any team? We are just short one member, so we would really like to have someone. We a-"

"Me, I will join your team." (Lily)

"-re from Class A."

"Eh?"

"Oh, thank you very much."

"Are you Lily Adams, the one who scored first in Theory during the entrance examination?"

Aren't Class A students all prodigies in combat? Why are they in our class asking for teammates?

Ah, one of the persons did have lavender hair, and the other two had white and black hair. They are sitting there as well, so I think that is my team. I hope so.

"Sorry for being late, I got held up with my friends."

Wow, now that I am paying attention, Whitey and Blacky are handsome, and this other person with red hair is handsome as well. The other two girls with pink and yellow hair are pretty too. "Wait, you are a Noble?" I exclaimed right after hearing her introduction.

In the world, there are very few royals and nobles left. There are only three royal families and fourteen noble families in existence in the human domain, and the one in front of me is a noble as well.

The Morningstar family is a noble family said to create the greatest of healers.

"Hm? Yes, I am, but if you are thinking that I specialize in healing, then you are wrong."

"But isn't the Morningstar family said to have the greatest healers?"

"Yes, we are, but my aptitude is not in healing. In fact, I just want to learn everything related to runes."

"Oh, we forgot to mention our paths and affinities. I am an assassin, and my affinities are ice and shadow," Maria spoke and did a teehee. She is still giving me creeps, perhaps because of her shadow affinity? I hope so.

"Then I should say mine as well. I am just your typical psion with water and wind affinity," Iselia spoke right after. Damn, I want to eat her.

"Ah, I am a mage, and my affinities are Fire and Ice," I added this time.

"Wow, you have a rare opposite affinity. Ah, let me introduce myself. I am Bruce Wayne. I am a summoner, and my affinity is Lightning. My overall rank is 2, combat rank is 2, and theory rank is 8. And would you beleive that Alice is Glenn's fiancée," the guy with red hair and purple eyes introduced himself. Damn, he has long hair like a girl.

"Rajesh Kumar, Healer. Affinities: Fire, Metal, and Darkness. Overall Rank 3, Combat Rank 3, Theory Rank 5," the guy with black hair and blue eyes said, um, coldly? Curtly? Don't know. I better not piss him off. He looks scary.

"So, what sh-" "Wait, you two are engaged? And is it real that people still get politically married in this day and age?" Cutting off Iselia, I exclaimed loudly, loud enough for other students around us to hear.

And now, because of my outburst, everyone is looking at us, then me, and then at the two couples whose heads are lowered, and they are blushing furiously.

Wait, by their reaction, there is no rejection. So, are they in consent? Wow.

"W-well, it is not political. We just fell in love, and so the engagement happened," Alice replied while shyly glancing at Glenn.

"Ahaha, I think we should go somewhere else," awkwardly Bruce said, feeling second-hand embarrassment. Well, even I am feeling embarrassed, so I just agreed with him, and we all moved out of the cafeteria after submitting our empty plates and cups.

Third Person POV

"Master, our team is finalized," a young girl reported to the handsome young man on the screen of her phone.

"Who are all of your teammates?" The young man with black hair and red eyes asked coldly.

"Iselia Cromwell, Lily Adams, Glenn Maxwell, Alice Morningstar, Rajesh Kumar, and Bruce Wayne, along with me," Maria said with a reverent voice.

"Contact Silvane; he will give you further notice, and don't mess up under any circumstances," came a cold voice from the phone.

"Yes, Master".
