Now, in the continent of Eblistan, the largest continent even in the ancient times, the life of Beran was shown.
Beran was a travelling merchant, but only around the continent since it is already large enough for the prices to differ.
The difference in buying and selling prices of his products is what makes him earn profits.
Even if you label Beran as a cheater, he never betrayed his customers and was equally loyal to all of them.
Rather than a cheater, Beran is more of a kindhearted opportunist.
People like Beran will do all sorts of way to harvest the most number of fruits in every opportunity presented on them.
One day, Beran chose to travel to a city in Eblistan, close to a massive neutral land.
He is looking to buy weapons that he could buy in a lower price and sell to other cities with expensive offset.
He stumbled upon a unique looking bow in which the original seller named as the best bow in the entire market in the world.
Beran's eyes glowed upon hearing that, he would be able to sell this bow at a higher price, tenfold and even hundred fold of its original price.
However, the original price is already high, which forced Beran to take home only the bow and not anything else, he spent all the money just to get his hands on this bow.
The bow's name is Lunara, besides its spectacular appearance, Beran could not detect what was so special with this bow, there was also no quiver paired with the bow.
Beran continued to travel with his carriage that could be run with a mechanism by moving his legs and feet in an up and down motion constantly.
This carriage does not require any kind of fuels to run or animals to pull it; he only needs to exert effort with his legs to reach different places even with uneven roads.
On the same night, Beran encountered a small battle between humans and dark entities, which Veil is familiar of: the Noctuas.
Beran hesitated on whether he would ignore or he would provide help.
Soon, he was detected, so he hurried over to the humans' side.
"I am Beran, a travelling merchant and I do not think I can provide any help here!" Beran introduced himself in a panic.
"Then do you have some time of weapons or products there that could help us? Even potions." One of the humans holding a sword talked to him.
"I have here a special bow, but I do not have arrows for it." Beran opened the bag on his carriage and picked up the Lunara.
"A special bow with no arrows? Are you messing with us?!" The swordsman angrily shouted at the merchant.
"…" Beran could not respond because it was indeed unusual that he has a bow that has no arrows.
The battle continued when the swordsman charged back on the frontlines.
However, the winning side is becoming more visible as more humans die, the enemies are able to merge with the darkness and stealthily kill other humans.
Splat!
Blood bloomed on the chests of the humans, not knowing when and where they would be attacked.
Beran's sweat is dripping in large beads from his forehead and his hands trembling because he could be the next victim.
He belatedly noticed that the enemies only appear and disappear on dark areas, thus, he is safe due to the torch on his carriage.
He then tightened his grip on the body of the bow and prepared to pull its string even if he has no arrows to go with it.
Soon after, the dark entities massacred all the humans, only Beran is remaining standing.
He is near a light source, so the dark entities could not ambush him on the dark.
However, the dark entities also now realized that Beran's weapon is useless for having no ammunition.
Graaaaa!
The Noctuas screeched and grinned evilly before dashing forward to the helpless merchant.
Beran closed his eyes before releasing the string of the bow.
Shoook!
Suddenly, a big white beam shot out of the bow and pierced the chest of the enemy.
The leading enemy who got hit by the white beam fell on the ground, dying instantly.
Among everyone present, Beran is the most surprised, he never thought that this bow is indeed special, needing no physical arrows to shoot.
Realizing the ability of his new bow he spent his entire fortune for, he rapidly sent attacks towards the dazed enemies.
Shook shook shook shook!
Thinner and faster beams of lights hit each enemy with their heads exploding.
Beran dropped on his butt after realizing he won, now that he has a treasure on his hands capable of this feat, he will not sell it even for a hundredfold price.
That is when the great story of Beran, the archer turned merchant reached the entire continent.
Beran constantly joins monster hunting parties, finding out that wielding his bow at night is the most effective use, since it grows with the power of the moon.
The Lunara's exclusive ability is its ability to fire arrows made out of Lunar mana and grow stronger at nights.

Veil soon noticed that each story of the Heroes moves forward in time, with Morovi and Solara being the oldest.
With Rellen's story now starting, she noticed that the Adventurer system has now been established, because Rellen was an Adventurer.
Rellen was a passionate woman as she grew up not wanting to be feminine, and instead, she has always wanted to become a warrior.
Rellen learned how to wield magic at a younger age, providing healing and support for her fellow Adventurers.
They would actively hunt at nights where monster attacks are common, putting the hearts of the civilians at ease.
With Rellen and the other Adventurers stationed outside the city, no monster would be able to come close.
Rellen's constant effort got the attention of the larger Adventurer teams on other cities, wanting the woman for their own teams.
With a healer of Rellen's caliber, they would never need to spend resources for potions.
The capital of Stoeles' Adventurers soon made their move to hire Rellen, giving her all the benefits she never imagined to be possible.
One of the benefits is to choose a brand new staff in the capital's armory, full of weapons forged and created by the very best craftsmen across the entire continent.
With a bitter smile, Rellen agreed only if the capital would assign Adventurers in this specific city to aide her previous party.
Without hesitation, the captain of the team inviting Rellen immediately agreed, stationing a dozen more Adventurers in place of Rellen.
With this kind of protection, the city will not feel the loss of Rellen's protection.
Rellen travelled with her new team and soon reached the armory which made Rellen's eyes glow.
One of the staffs completely made out of wood instantly attracted her attention; she ignored the other beautiful looking staff.
Even the captain and other Adventurers behind her are confused of her choice, but seeing her interest, they did not stop the woman.
Rellen hugged her new staff, unbeknownst to the others that this is a Legendary grade weapon.
Rellen happily participated in every hunting mission possible, showing her improvement with her new staff.
Her healing magic could now heal a torn limb as if it is new and wounds that never leave a scar when healed.
She was then titled as the Frontline Healer, who acts as a powerful mage with varieties of flame attacks as well as a healer that never stays behind the team.
Due to the popularity of Rellen's staff, it was later discovered to be the Kindleflame, one of the 10 known Legendary weapons in the entire world.
With Rellen's godly healing powers serving the continent of Stoeles, no Adventurer suffered from injuries ever again.
Her abilities paired with the staff are just truly mind-blowing and growing into logic-defying scale.
Healers are normally supports behind the other Adventurer classes, but for Rellen, every battle is an opportunity to use both her flame attacks and heal at the same time.
The Kindleflame's exclusive ability is to use flame mana's destructive properties to heal wounds, which is contrasting logic, but the flame mana destroys the wounds, technically restoring the damaged body.
With four of the Heroes introduced to Veil, she slowly connected the dots, but to no avail.
She is still confused on how these Heroes are mirror of her and her experiences so far in her life.
