Brewing War

Solara's body turned into a semi-invisible golden body of light, her flesh slowly turned into ash.

Veil's entire arm holding the Rosalia forward trembled greatly as Solara's body of light slowly converges into where she stabbed her heart.

After a short moment, Solara is now completely gone, only the strands of her spirits our gone, Veil then tied up the strands with her own mana and mended it.

Vuimmm.

As the mana meets the strands, it was able to slowly regain its original appearance: the Solar Fragment of a broken sword.

Veil lightly tossed up the piece as she stared blankly into the spot Solara disappeared to, she then noticed Solara's gloves.

She then briefly remembered that the Legendary weapon, Lightsong, which Solara used that comes from her palms and thus, she now learned that it comes from the power source in the gloves.

She kept the sword piece and the gloves into her spatial bag, before using the instant gate Harazath provided to her.

This is an instant use crystal that opens a gate in a chosen location, however, the location it opens up to is predetermined.

In this case, the gate is directly connected into Aeria, no matter where she is, if she uses this crystal, the gate will bring her to Aeria.

She immediately shattered the crystal on the empty ground.

Crack! Vuoshhhh!!!

A gate with various lightning arcs dancing around appeared, Veil immediately dashed forward, the gate disappearing with her.

After a short moment, the Dark Clown finally appeared inside the cave, destroying everything around it.

However, they found out they are late, out of frustration, they lost control and caused a massive explosion with mana alone.

The previous cave is now a massive crater, nothing remained of the Sun God's cave.

'Just you wait, you will not put a dent on my plans anymore!!!' The Dark Clown's eyes filled with a shivering glint.

Veil panted heavily after traversing the chaotic passageway in the gate, she then met with Azazel.

"You are back already?" Azazel was slightly surprised and amazed due to the short amount of time it took Veil to search for the fragments.

"Yes…" Veil answered with a lingering sadness in her voice, however, the Archangel did not dwell much on it.

"Great! With this, we can bring back the Ruined Blade of the Noctuas!" Azazel showed a visible gladness.

"But Esteemed Azazel, we still do not have the handle of the sword, the main body." Veil pointed out the remaining detail.

"In truth, the handle is still in the Zekerion, only you would be able to cross down there, the problem is that it would take a lot of time for you to gain the authority to return here." Azazel revealed the truth with a serious tone.

Veil remained speechless, time is of the essence now especially that the Dark Clown knows of their plan.

Luckily enough, after a long silence, Azazel detected the arrival of the other Pentagram, with this, they could now combine the current fragments to be able to utilize the powers encased on the recasts.

Zarall chose the Chir Rada'kka, Sabriel chose the Sylmare, Harazath chose the Spear of Rasha, Ophanim chose the Moonlight Bracelet and finally, Azazel chose the Solar Fragment.

With each of the five Pentagram handling a fragment of their own, they slowly used the extent of their mana knowledge to reshape all the fragments into their original states.

Vuimmmm!

A blinding light wrapped the fragments as each slowly turned into different shapes of the broken sword, the unusual shapes perfectly fit with each other.

Azazel did the honor of combining all the fragments, with satisfying clicks, all the fragments are now connected temporarily with mana.

"This is only our option for now, I will be turning this sword into mana strands that would augment your own sword, which is also a fragment. But worry not, you have 6 fragments with you, you would outdo the main body of the sword with this." Azazel informed Veil while she lightly tapped the new sword.

The fragments taking up a form of a sword without a handle floated upwards and pulsated off golden waves of light.

Slowly, it turned into a semi-invisible sword, similar to how Solara disappeared.

Veil stayed silent as she sheathes the Rosalia into the same position as the sword light.

Vuizzzzzz!

She felt strong vibrations from the collision of the Rosalia and the rest of the fragments, all the concentrated mana of each mana types flowed into her body with great speed.

Without exposing herself to the endless supply of mana from the Blackfrost shard, she would have instantly collapsed from the massive amounts of mana from the other fragments.

After the commotion in her mind calmed, the aquamarine sword now takes a brand new appearance.

Before the second evolution of the sword, it only has a small stripe of midnight black on the center of the blade, but now, beautiful arcs of the color decorated the entire body of the blade.

The handguard slightly expanded and the rose wrapping it similarly becomes larger.

The snowy white handle is now almost translucent with all the types of mana visibly flowing from the hilt onto the blade; the mana is merging with the Blackfrost shard on the hilt.

Veil helped the circulation of the flowing mana types in the sword handle to the shard, now, instead of supplying endless amount of ice mana, she now has an endless supply of 6 mana types, both the 4 basic and 2 special.

When Veil tried slashing the air with her brand new Rosalia, spatial tears followed on its wake, she also feels invigorated from the mana flowing from the sword handle onto her palm.

With this, she would never suffer a mind down even if she uses skills repeatedly, she could also mend every hint of fatigue and exhaustion she ever feels on combat just by utilizing the mana types on her sword.

Seeing the satisfaction on the human's face, the Pentagram quietly left, Azazel then spoke before leaving, "We shall go for now, we cannot meddle any further. Be careful, I could only pray for your success."

"Thank you very much, I will stop the great evil with this and purge the darkness in the world!" Veil declared with a reassuring tone.

Azazel then followed behind the Pentagram on the large gate they passed through, they must not reveal their powers any further.

They just agreed to help Azazel and Harazath for their recognition of the human's ability to fight against the sole remnant of the Dark Clowns.

If someone could get rid of this remnant for them, they would gladly provide help.

After seeing Azazel leave, Veil dashed towards the forest in the Aeria, she is itching to try her new sword.

Veil spent the whole day fighting and familiarizing with the sensation of her sword, feeling satisfied, she finally rested on a tall tree.

Meanwhile, on the Dark Clown's territory, they were assigning someone to cross to the Underworld Zekerion and obtain a certain weapon.

The weapon, as described by the Dark Clown, is only a handle with a short tip of a broken blade.

That someone is none other than Twelve Seats' Armon.

When the day the noontime battle ended, he was grabbing some snacks with the rest of the Twelve Seats, until they met this Dark Clown.

They were offered a new power and greater strength to take revenge against the young girl who embarrassed them and took their honor, pride and positions.

Armon immediately agreed, while his friends urged him not to fall into temptation, after all, they promised to grow stronger together with honest training.

Armon was hesitant, but he turned his back against his friend, he immediately wants to take revenge.

He would not be able to sleep at night knowing there is someone who made him feel ashamed of the people who once cheered for him whenever he battled.

"As your first task to prove you are worthy of this new power, slay them, all of them!" The Dark Clown pushed Armon to kill his friends, a truly evil move.

Sweats formed on the foreheads of the other Twelve Seats, fear rooting up from their hearts.

After staying silent and static momentarily, Armon dashed and started the bloodbath.

His own pride is more important than the friends he made along his journey, he was a truly selfish person.

The Dark Clown laughed like a maniac seeing Armon kill his own innocent friends just for a revenge.

But they gladly accepted Armon from proving his worth, they granted Armon a fraction of their powers equal to Urziel.

Now, Armon would be as strong as a God and he is being tasked to visit the Underworld to search for a weapon.

At first, Armon hesitated to take on a search mission, it is boring and worthless after all, however, the Dark Clown urged him that this weapon will bring upon more power for him, in which he immediately agreed.

Armon would always choose the ways that would benefit himself, a contrast to his true personal beliefs and principles.

Just to restore the pride he believes was lost from his defeat from the young girl, he is ironically throwing his pride away just to gain more power.

Armon then made his own gate connecting Terra to Zekerion, from then on, he began his search of the Ruined Blade.

On Darthoxis' side, he was relatively successful on informing the various Kingdoms, Empires, city lords, other races, and tribes of the potential war brewing.

His proof is the fact that we was replaced by an unknown upstart that came out of nowhere.

Their enemy is capable of producing a power that can rival Gods themselves, which the world of Terra might face sooner.

Therefore, on every part of the world, everyone gets into a busy time, nurturing their own forces to defend their own territories, cities and tribes.

Bigger cities under Kingdoms and Empires nurtured more engineers and invested more resources for the production of Spiritforms, the more Adventurers they can turn into Heroes, the better.

As predicted by various races' researchers, this upcoming battle would be on a much larger scale than the Ancient War and the War in lake of Slovan'r combined.

If they do not seek the proper preparations, they would end up wiped off the face of Terra.

Nerula personally trained the various races' volunteers that joined the Shuranian army under the Primordial, Darthoxis.

After losing his position on the Gods' realm known as Mara, his divine skills disappeared, but all his combat knowledge and mana is still within him.

He will join this war himself if it ever befalls Terra, ultimately to crush Urziel.

Mara is just like how you would perceive the cities in the human world, there are different buildings of various shapes, and there are fields, mountains and so on.

Urziel enjoyed his status as the new God of War in Mara, while the other Gods slightly feel uncomfortable on whatever his plans are.

As the God of War, the other Gods would not be able to interfere if Urziel causes a war to unfold; the only variable they would be able to control is Urziel himself not being able to join in the war.

He gained and fought for his position, so they cannot complain to the One True God, titled as the Supreme Being.

Even Gods themselves should respect the Supreme Being; they have never even seen the face of this being.

The Supreme Being is the highest and the apex of the hierarchy among all the lifeforms present in the pyramid of life.

Below the Supreme Being are the Gods and Demigods, followed by Archangels and Archdemons, and then by ordinary Angels and Demons, slightly under are the Dragons and lastly, the Valkyries.

That is the hierarchy for the higher lifeforms and beings, below all of them are various races of all the worlds with their own food chain.

To be exact, there is no determined hierarchy within the lower lifeforms, it is up to them how high they reach, and for instance, some creatures could be blessed by higher lifeforms like Dragons, which would then immediately break the balance of the hierarchy if it existed.

Urziel suddenly laughed loudly when he detected the mood of the other Gods acting wary of his next actions.

He took a sip of the alcohol on the glass before exiting the main house of the Gods, where they would all gather.

Other type of Gods such as the Goddess of the Underworld, Xaveene, rarely visits Mara, because she prefers a different space; similarly to the Sun God Savitr where he is resting his spiritual body on the destroyed cave.

[…]

Urziel entered an empty alleyway and contacted the Dark Clown, informing them that the Gods are starting to be wary of him.

Mara... Is the naming cringe or lackluster? I hope not.
