Each player methodically adorned their Realm devices, the sleek, futuristic headsets that would transport them back into the immersive world of NexaRealm. The familiar hum of the machines filled the room, a comforting sound to these seasoned competitors. As they took their positions, the audience held its collective breath, eagerly awaiting the next phase of this epic showdown.

Dong-yul and Soo-min resumed their commentary, their voices a blend of excitement and professionalism.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the second round is upon us!" Dong-yul announced, his enthusiasm infectious. "Both teams have had their moment to regroup, and now it's time to dive back into the realm where legends are forged."

The players were greeted by the usual room of darkness, an expanse of black and grey standard boxes that would soon morph to reveal their next battlefield. The system's mechanical voice echoed, welcoming both teams back. Above them, a virtual roulette wheel appeared, spinning with potential maps and game modes. The crowd watched in anticipation as the selections began.

"And here we go with the map and game mode selection," Soo-min chimed in, her voice filled with curiosity. "What will fate decide for our players this time?"

The roulette slowed, finally stopping on a map named "Shattered Abyss".

"Shattered Abyss," Dong-yul read aloud. "A map is known for its complexity and danger. This will definitely test the teams' navigation skills and their ability to adapt to hostile environments."

The roulette spun again, this time selecting the game mode. It stopped on "Monster Slayer", a new addition to the roster of game modes in NexaRealm.

"Monster Slayer! This is going to be interesting. For those unfamiliar, in Monster Slayer, each team will be separated into their arena. Their objective? Be the first to slay the given boss monster. The boss chosen is one that players can find in the designated map within the world of NexaRealm."

Dong-yul picked up the explanation.

"What makes Monster Slayer so compelling is that it tests not only the players' combat prowess but also their intelligence and knowledge of NexaRealm. Knowing the boss's weaknesses, attack patterns, and the best strategies to bring it down is crucial. This truly separates the best from the rest."

As the commentators spoke, the system finalized the details. The boss for this round was revealed: "The Abyssal Leviathan".

"Wow, the Abyssal Leviathan," Soo-min said, her tone a mix of awe and concern. "This boss is notorious for its brutal attacks and its ability to summon minions to aid in battle. Teams will need to balance offence and defence carefully to stand a chance."

The crowd buzzed with excitement as the players prepared for this new challenge. In their respective arenas, both teams strategized, knowing that this round would be a true test of their skills and knowledge.

Inside Aerial's arena, In-su, still deep in contemplation, began to outline their strategy.

"We need to rely on our experience and adapt quickly. Remember, the Leviathan's summoning ability can overwhelm us if we aren't careful. Focus on its weak points and be ready to counter its dark magic."

Team Fire, meanwhile, was equally focused. Hana, Soo-jin, and the others listened intently as Kang-dae shared his insights.

"We've faced tough opponents before, but this Leviathan is a different beast. We'll need to stay sharp and work together to bring it down."

The stage was set for an epic clash. As the countdown to the second round began, both teams braced themselves for the battle ahead, ready to prove their mettle in the unforgiving world of NexaRealm.

Soo-min nodded, adding.

"That's right, Dong-yul. This round will focus on PvE, not PvP. There will be no direct player-versus-player combat. Instead, both teams will face off against the Abyssal Leviathan in their separate arenas. It's all about who can take down the monster more efficiently."

"As we look at the team compositions," Dong-yul continued, "Aerial appears to have a significant advantage. With a lineup consisting of a Mage, a Marksman, and three Assassins, they are heavily skewed towards high damage output. Their average damage per second, or DPS, is likely much higher than Team Fire's."

"Exactly. In contrast, Team Fire is built for balance with a Mage, a Marksman, two Fighters, and a Tank. Their composition is more defensive, which might put them at a disadvantage in terms of raw damage output. However, the Abyssal Leviathan can summon minions to hinder the players' progress. This could play to Team Fire's strengths, as their balanced composition might handle the minions more effectively," Soo-min agreed.

Dong-yul's voice grew more intense as the countdown began.

"It all comes down to strategy and execution now. The teams have 30 minutes. The first to eliminate the Leviathan or the team with the most damage dealt at the end of the time limit will claim victory in this round."

The system's countdown reached its final seconds, and both teams prepared themselves. The dark, jagged landscape of the Shattered Abyss loomed ahead, filled with peril and mystery. As the timer hit zero, the players were teleported into their respective arenas, the battle commencing in earnest.

In Team Fire's arena, Hana quickly took charge.

Kang-dae nodded, his massive shield raised as he led the charge towards the looming figure of the Abyssal Leviathan. The creature roared, its bioluminescent patterns glowing ominously in the darkness. The team moved with practised precision, each member falling into their role seamlessly.

Meanwhile, in Aerial's arena, In-su's voice was calm and measured.

"Chin-hwa, stay mobile and keep your shots consistent. You three need to maximize our DPS. Use your mobility to avoid its attacks and focus on its weak points. I keep us buffed and ready."

Chin-hwa, the lightning-fast Marksman, darted around the battlefield, his shots finding their mark with unerring accuracy. The Assassins moved like shadows, their blades flashing as they struck at the Leviathan's vulnerable spots. In-su's spells bolstered their strength, enhancing their attacks and ensuring their damage output remained high.

The Leviathan roared, summoning a wave of shadowy minions to aid it. In both arenas, the teams had to adapt quickly. Team Fire's balanced composition began to show its worth as they efficiently dealt with the minions while continuing their assault on the Leviathan. Sang-hee's spells created barriers and blasted the minions, while Jin-kyong's precise shots provided crucial support.

Aerial, on the other hand, relied on their high DPS to cut through the minions swiftly. The Assassins' agility allowed them to evade the Leviathan's attacks while dealing massive damage, and In-su's spells kept them at peak performance.

As the minutes ticked by, both teams pushed their limits, determined to outpace the other. The crowd watched in rapt attention, the tension mounting with every passing second. The commentators provided a running analysis, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of each team as they battled the colossal beast.

The stakes were much higher for Aerial, as they looking for a win in this second round. If not, they have to grab their shoulder and call it a day. While Team Fire can lax a bit, the revelation of how the game mode for the second round was into a PVE, Team Fire need to take advantage of this as they might not win if they go against Aerial once more.
