Stargate

With the finding of the Stargate I decided to end my retirement, I was made the head of our Stargate program.

The government was up in arms with where to establish the program, some wanted it to be in the middle no where or in one of the many castle all over the world.

But is was finally agreed upon to make a brand new facility in the mountains of Skagos as it is has become a nature sanctuary. Their if a incursion was to occur we could just blow the whole island with out issue.

The facility was built into the mountains their like a dwarven hold where defenses where set to be every where throughout. While on the outside a massive defense base was developed to fight a inside or outside fight.

With the proof of alien life the budgets for the space program and the military aspects where tripled. New space ships were designed allowing travels from one side of the system to the other in an hour.

Though the use of a mix of a port key and gravity dust, we use it to make a gravity well in front of the vessel allowing to speed up exponentially in a straight line.

While not good enough for trans system travel it is good enough for same system travel.

We have also begun retrofitting and designing a defense fleet for the federation.

We have not designed anything bigger than a corvette till we have a better Trans-System capacity. Which I know we can develop or re-engineer from the Goa'uld vessels all over the place.

Hal-"Good Afternoon, Bifrost Base today we send out first maned expedition through the Stargate. Now I want all of you to under stand the gravity of the situation here, the galaxy is not a peaceful place and it is our duty to protect our home from what lies ahead now got and explore do your duty."

With that Warband-1 crossed into the gate, where they would be the first team of many who would travel through the gate in exploration.

After 3 months of traveling through the gate and finding mostly primitive or dead world, but one day WB-1 which was lead by one of my grandchildren they had gotten in contact with the Goa'uld for the first time.

First contact with the Goa'uld was thankfully only a small outpost which was enslaving a small population of human (5,000) who mined for the Naquadah.

The Warband-1 (Silver-Tongues) alerted Bifrost base of the situation and called for immediate aid in securing the site for the Federation. Their mission is to eliminate all Jaffa on the planet while capturing any Jaffa in hopes of siphoning all their genetic memories to gain access to more advanced technologies.

Bifrost base then sent additional teams 2 and 5, Warband-2 (Deavas) specialist team who was comprised of Dark elves and Goblins from the Hp-Verse for stealth equipped with Chinese stealth suit from the F-Verse (Fallout).

Warband-5 (Giants-Teeth) made up of Orcs, Dwarves and Half-Giants, who carried a variety of heavy weapons and explosives (heavy lasers, hand held artillery, and Rockets)

Which while scouting the local town the local Goa'uld was named Hunúŋpa which is the Lakota god of Knowledge. Which the researchers have theorized that this Goa'uld is a small time researcher for Aŋpo which is the head Goa'uld for this sector.

Fortress-

Warband-2 (Deavas) who infiltrated through the East side of the Fortress with a mix of levitation and sticking charms allowing them to scale the wall easily.

Their goal was to locate the Goa'uld and capture them for further study, upon entering the base they made their way to the research chamber where Hunúŋpa had left all his notes and where it most likely was.

The researcher chamber held a variety of Goa'uld tech ranging from Zat guns to their healing devices, once the weapons and notes had been placed in bags of holding they made their way to Hunúŋpa bed chambers.

Stunning the alien, the Deavas okayed Giants Teeth and Silver Tongues to attack the fortress. When the chaos irrupted the Deavas made their way out of the fortress to the stargate leaving a load of mines from the F-verse irritating the base as they ran.

While the Deavas made their escape, the two other teams goal was simply to cause as much damage as possible. A team of Half-Ocrs placed a HLC (Heavy Laser Cannon) they began to melt the very walls of the base, while the full Orcs and Power armored Dwarves charged the Jaffa defense.

Once the extraction teams made it out the base the Silver Tongues set off all the placed explosives causing a chain reaction of Plamsa, Radiation and Cryo-Bombs to set off making the place uninhabitable.

The teams would then make their way back to the Stargate back to Bifrost base, but before they left

They left a stone slab enchanted to be invincible carving saying this.

"To those fighting or fleeing the Monster known as the Goa'uld, we of the United Federation of Planets of we welcome you.

To the Jaffa enslaved by the Goa'uld we implore you to fight these false gods as they impersonate the real ones the true gods would never force you to act this way.

To the Goa'uld false gods, we of the United Federation declare open war upon you. You use the name of the Gods and practice slavery and we can not let you live in this Galaxy if you continue to practice this most horrible institution.

So we shall fight you no matter where you are we shall never surrender"

This was written in every language we had recorded of ranging from Dwaven runes to Giant so all would know of our war against the Goa'uld.

This practice would continue on every world we would explore through the Stargate, for the next 5 years as we explored through the gate researching any tech we could get ahold, we would eventually colonize our entire sector and have it defendable enough to allow further expansion.

Our population boomed every race in the federation would travel to every star in our controlled space. Every barren planet or asteroid would have some semblance of civilization whether that be some crazy wizard or entire cities under domes.

But after 5 years of exploration finding mostly isolated communities of humans that we gave basic education to the level of the medieval ages and accesses to more education if the joined the federation, some joined other didn't but finally we heard great news Ra had been killed.

And within a year the SG teams would find out Slabs and have finally stumbled upon one of our world with a Stagate.
