Season 2 Chapter 20 - Shadow's Puppet

The king of Wellington was on the ground as Emily was healing him.

"Why do you heal me when I am a traitor? I deserve death, do I not?", the king of Wellington asked.

"It is not my place to decide whether you live or die, it is my master's place so I advise you to await her decision", Emily responded.

As she was healing the king, she felt a strange presence and was on her guard so as to not lose her life. Suddenly an attack was lunged towards her but she easily dodged it. A masked man was now standing in front of Emily.

"I am the Fifth of the Twelve Shadows of the Shadow Monarch. You can call me "Rio", please kindly remember my name as you go to the afterlife", Rio said.

As soon as he introduced himself, Emily fell in pain as blood was rushing out of her body. She was in shock as he had not yet attacked, the king of Wellington's smile made her to feel betrayed.

"Guess I should properly introduce myself, I am Xia, the First of the Twelve Shadows of the Shadow Monarch. You must be the most gullible person to have believed me", the king of Wellington said.

"I am not gullible, as you are the gullible one for you allowed me to heal your wound", an evil smirk appeared on Emily's face as she said this.

Xia's entire body inflated and burst like a balloon. She smiled as she gave Rio a chance to live.

"You can work for me and, the Shadow Monarch shall live", Emily said.
