Rakish good looks

Vice buzzed Davi up and they waited in expectant silence for the elevator to bring him up the landing.

By the time Ivo realised he was sitting at Vice's kitchen counter in only his underwear, with hickeys all over his chest, Davi had already walked through the unlatched door and into the apartment.

He toed his boots off at the door politely, and walked up to them, gaze studiously averted from Ivo's bare chest.

"It's tomorrow," he said simply, taking a seat next to Ivo and reaching over towards his untouched cup of açaí. He brought a spoonful to his mouth and chewed down on the crunchy granola, some powdered milk stuck to his upper lip. "From that place we used to like."

Vice looked like he'd been sucking on sour lemons. "They're still open. Nothing stopping you from going there."

"I don't come to this neck of the woods often. No reason to."
