Final preparations
After the meeting or the Relic research/expedition team ended, all the members were asked to make preparations because the day they' re going on their expedition is the next day.
Now that their school activities has ended each member started making their preparations.
At the Mizutani Household*
Katsuki: Wow, where are you going Natsuki-chan? Why are you packing so much clothes?
Natsuki: remember when I told you about me being a team that is researching to find The Crown of Urizen?
Katsuki: oh yeah, you did say that a while back... Wait! Are you going on an expedition to the Crown of Urizen?!
Natsuki: yup!
Katsuki realizing that her daughter will be leaving started crying.
Natsuki: Mom?! What's wrong?!
Katsuki: sorry sniff! It's nothing, I'm just sad that you'll leave me.
After she realized why her mom was crying, Natsuki hugged her Mom.
Natsuki: don't worry Mom, I'll only be gone for 3 days, I promise I'll be back safe and sound and besides, our leader is the one who can turn into Shin-ken Kumonos after all.
Katsuki: really?! That kid?! Well I'm completely reassured now!
Natsuki: also I have some friends with me as well so you don't need to worry.
Katsuki: I know, but.
As Katsuki stopped crying she looked at Natsuki with a serious face.
Katsuki: Don't ever go near "that" guy.
Natsuki: I'm fully aware of the mom.
Katsuki: good. So when are you leaving?
Natsuki: tomorrow after school.
Katsuki: I see, well just come home safely.
Natsuki: hehe~ I will mom.
Natsuki hugged her mom again.
Natsuki: hehe~ I wonder how the others are doing right now?
At the Mirai Household*
Sachi: So what do you think we should cook?
Yuuka: well, it definitely should be something everyone would like.
Shino: agreed, maybe we should make some fried fish?
Sachi and Shino came to Yuuka's house to cook food for their team, although they are having problems on deciding what to cook.
Jin: looks like the girls are gonna cook for their friends huh?
Yuuki: and most importantly Kaneki.
Yuuka: SHUT UP! MOM AND DAD!
Yuuki: c'mon, you know it's true Yuuka.
Sachi: they do got a point. Let's cook with all our love for Kaneki!
Both Shino and Yuuka got embarrassed because of Sachi.
Shino: but still what should we make?
Sachi: hmmm, what about Beef Gyudon?
Yuuka: that's a good idea. Kaneki's favorite type of dish is mainly anything that's made out of meat.
Shino: yeah, we definitely should make a lot of meet dishes.
Sachi: we should definitely also put in some veggies too.
Yuuka: yup! We must stay healthy!
Shino: we should put in some fish as well.
Yuuka: yeah, everyone likes fish.
Sachi: alright! Let's start cooking!
The three started cooking a lot of food.
Yuuka: I'm sorry we're using too many of our stuff from the fridge mom and dad.
Jin: it's alright, you kids just do your best and stay safe on your expedition okay?
Yuuki: and maybe you should invite Kaneki here for dinner next time.
Yuuka blushed.
Yuuka: c'mon that's really embarrassing!
Jin: it would be great for him to visit.
Yuuki: oh yeah, what do you girls think Kaneki and Miku are doing right now?
At the Shirogane mansion*
Kaneki: hey thanks for letting me use the furnace here, I really appreciate it.
Shiho: you're welcome Kaneki-chan but there's one thing that surprised me.
Shiho looked at the side.
Azusa: I didn't expect that you'd actually be my step cousin.
Kaneki brought Miku with him to the Shirogane mansion and told them that Miku was his sister.
Miku: well, Onii-chan asked mom and dad for me to use my old surename so no one would bully me because of Onii-chan.
Emi: but, everyone knows how scary he is so no one would even try.
Miku: well, Onii-chan doesn't want me to be compared to him by our schoolmates and he seriously dislike others talking about me behind my back. And that would probably happen more if everyone knew so please don't tell anyone.
Azusa: Sigh~ fine I won't tell anyone, you too Emi-kun.
Emi: I know.
Azusa: good but just to be sure let's make a contract.
Miku: ehh?!
Shiho: it's great that you care so much about your little sister Kaneki-chan, and worry not we won't tell anyone, I promise.
Kaneki: thanks Aunty. This might be a bit much but is it okay that after school tomorrow you could watch over our house?
Shiho: sure!
Kaneki: great, thanks. Anyways, one the metal had melted I'll be taking the furnace with me for a little while, so can you guys take care of my sister while I'm gone?
Shiho: don't worry! We got this!
Kaneki: thanks again, and also can you teach her how to cook please?
Shiho: we will!
Kaneki: good, well I'll be back again, all the metal has melted already. Sis! Behave yourself okay?
Miku: I will.
Kaneki: well then, I'll be back later.
Kaneki then touched the furnace and used darkness travel and brought the big furnace with him somewhere.
Kaneki's Thoughts*
(Alright, time to make the suitsm tomorrow we will start the expedition, I hope we can find that crown... I must get it for Miyu-chan.)
Kaneki then started making the suits.
With everyone making their own preparations the day of the expedition draws nearer.

???: so have you sent her already?
Robeca: yes, she was reluctant at first but after she heard Kaneki's name she immediately mobilized.
???: good. She can definitely protect Kaneki and his friends?
Robeca: but is she enough to go up against "them"?
???: she's with Kaneki. I know she can do it.
Robeca: I see.
Who is Robeca sensei talking to? Who is this person? Who is this "she" are these two referring to? And who is this "them" that Kaneki and his team need protection from?
