Sachi: so what are you going to do now?

After the mall date Kaneki and Sachi were walking home, along the way the chat with each other.

Kaneki/Kotarou: I'm gonna teach Miku how to cook, we're pretty much almost done with all the egg dishes I can teach her. Although the last one might be a huge problem.

Sachi: Omurice?

Kaneki/Kotarou: yup, that's the most difficult but I believe- no, I know she can pass.

Sachi smiled and said.

Sachi: hehe~ Miku is lucky to have such a wonderful Onii-chan.

Kaneki/Kotarou: I wouldn't really say that.

Sachi: still, she's lucky.

Kaneki/Kotarou: ...

Sachi: anyways, it's not really healthy to be eating too much eggs, so be careful alright?

Kaneki/Kotarou: I know.

Sachi: well then, we're here.

They both arrived at their homes.

Sachi: well then, see you later.

Kaneki/Kotarou: see ya.

With a smile Sachi went inside her house.

Kaneki/Kotarou: alright, time to switch bodies again.

Kaneki went back inside his home and switched back to his original body.

Kaneki: finally~ okay, I should start preparing the eggs we'll be using, but first I should ask Miku.

Kaneki took out his phone and sent a message to Miku through l*ne.

Meanwhile*

Shino: should we go back home already?

Yuuka: yeah, it's been fun.

Miku: yeah le-

Ping!

Miku: hmm?

Hearing a notification from her phone, Miku took it out.

Miku: oh it's from Onii-chan.

Shino & Yuuka: eh?! Really? What did he say?

Miku read Kaneki's message.

"Hey you're close to finishing the egg category of my cooking class, do still want to continue?

Shino: eh? Egg Category?

Yuuka: he probably just made it up.

Miku was smiling while staring at the message. She then began typing a reply.

"Yeah sure, I'll definitely pass!"

Kaneki then instantly replied.

"Good! I'll be waiting for you here at home, see ya!"

Shino: it looks like he's really excited to teach you.

Yuuka: yeah. Know what change of plans, we're coming to watch you cook.

Miku: ehh?! Seriously?!

Shino & Yuuka: yeah!

Seeing how her "Onee-chans" really wants to watch she decided to let them watch.

Miku: fine, but don't make fun of me alright?!

Shino & Yuuka: got it~

They then started walking to the Higanbana residence.

30 minutes later*

Miku: I'm home~

Shino & Yuuka: sorry for the intrusion~

Kaneki: welcome.

The 3 finally arrived and now the cooking lesson begins.

Kaneki: are you sure Miku? This is the last one and the most difficult.

Miku: don't worry, I got this!

Shino: yeah! She'll definitely pass!

Hearing her brother encourage her she tried again.

Miku: alright, everything's mixed!

After making a new mixture she headed to the stove but.

Before she could fall Kaneki caught her.

Kaneki: you alright?

Miku: yea- Nooo!

Miku spilled her the mixture.

Shino: don't worry, I'll clean it.

Kaneki: it's alright, don't cry.

Miku wiped her tears off and started again.

Miku: dammit!

And again.

Miku: it's too cooked!

And again.

She failed many times around 50 attempts.

With only a few ingredients left and the rice was getting cold. Because of all the stress she decided to take a break.

Miku: this sucks.

Shino: hey it's alright, you can try again.

Yuuka: yeah, it's alright don't be upset.

Miku was very upset, she failed 50 times and had Kaneki eat up all of her failures.

Miku: I only fed Onii-chan disgusting failures. Arghhh! This sucks!

Kaneki: what do you mean disgusting? They were pretty decent.

Kaneki suddenly came out of nowhere.

Miku: what do you mean? They were either burnt, really salty or no taste at all

Kaneki: hmm... If you want to you can eat my Omurice over there.

Miku: huh?

Miku looked inside the cover in the table and saw the Omurice Kaneki made prior.

Shino: you still haven't eat it?

Kaneki: yup, I figured Miku might fail a lot and get upset, so I didn't eat it so she could calm her mind. Although it is cold by now.

Miku: ...

Miku took a spoon and went back to the table.

Miku: Itadakimasu~

And she began eating the Omurice.

Miku: !!! It's good.

Kaneki: just relax and eat alright?

Miku: ...

Miku was speechless.

Miku's thoughts*

(Strange, it tastes really good compared to the one's he made in the camping trip this one taste a lot better)

Kaneki: since we're running out of stuff for cooking I'm going to buy some at the grocery store.

Shino: sure, stay safe.

Yuuka: don't try to fight anyone.

Kaneki: I won't.

Kaneki began walking out before he was stopped.

Miku: wait Onii-chan!

Kaneki: what is it?

Miku: what's your secret to cooking Omurice?

She was desperate to cook Omurice, so she wanted to learn Kaneki's secret.

But what she didn't know was.

Kaneki: there is no secret.

Miku: eh?! Then how are you able to cook such a delicious Omurice and other food?

Kaneki: well... If I would guess, I make sure to be patient and I put a lot of "love" into cooking.

Miku: eh?

Kaneki: I don't really understand what love is but that's how I cook really good food I guess? But I suggest you do the same and be patient as well.

With those words Miku thought of something.

(I was really stressed, because I wanted to give Onii-chan really tasty food. because of that I got impatient and I didn't put any "love" in it)

Miku: I see.

Kaneki: well then I'm off!

Whoosh!

Kaneki then left.

Shino: so what now?

Yuuka: Miku?

Miku was just standing and then.

Miku: alright!

Shino & Yuuka: eh?

Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!

Miku devoured all of the Omurice and then.

Miku: alright! This is my last chance!

She then started cooking again.

25 minutes later*

Kaneki: I'm home~

Kaneki just got back from grocery shopping.

Kaneki: snif~ woah, what is that good smell?

Kaneki smelled something delicious.

Miku: welcome back.

Miku suddenly walked up to him and grabbed his arm.

Miku: c'mon look!

Kaneki: eh?

She then started to drag Kaneki.

Miku: here look!

Kaneki looked at the table and saw.

Kaneki: eh? Really?

Shino: yup.

Yuuka: Miku did it.

It was an Omurice that Miku made.

Kaneki took a closet look.

Kaneki,: it really does look like an Omurice, you two didn't do anything right?

Shino & Yuuka: nope!

Miku: c'mon have a taste!!

Kaneki: are you su-

Miku: just do it!

Kaneki: okay.

Kaneki them took a spoon and tasted the Omurice.

Miku: so? How did it tastes?!

Kaneki: it...

Shino: !!!

Yuuka: !!!

Miku: !!!

All 3 wanted to know Kaneki's opinion on the Omurice.

Kaneki: it tastes so good! You pass!

Shino: yay! Miku passed!

Yuuka: good job kid!

Shino and Yuuka started to hug Miku.

Miku: finally!

Miku was the most happy she had finally passed.

Kaneki: here have a taste too.

Kaneki took a spoonful and offered it to Miku.

Miku: thanks!

Nom!

Shino & Yuuka: can we taste too?!

Kaneki: sure!

They all shared Miku's Omurice until there's nothing left.

10 minutes later*

Shino: I was fun watching you cook Miku.

Yuuka: yeah, Kaneki really is the best cook and teacher.

Kaneki: hehe~ thx.

Shino & Yuuka: well, bye bye

Shino and Yuuka then went home.

Kaneki: you did great! Mon and dad will be happy to hear that you can cook Omurice now!

Miku: yeah, by the way can we halt my private cooking lessons for now?

Kaneki: really? Why?

Miku: I just want a break.

Kaneki: sure, but I you want me to teach you anything just tell me alright?

Miku smiled happily and said.

Miku: I will! After all My Onii-chan is the best!

Doki!

Kaneki smiled as well.

Kaneki: thanks, let's go clean the dishes now shall we?

Miku: sure.

And with that the siblings went back inside their home with happy faces.
