Kaguya's End

"So, there I was, stripped of my ability to access my Dao and divided into six souls, while my children were stuck in a prison of their own making.

"Hamura's sealing of the body of the ten tails in the moon had an unexpected effect. It cut off the relations between the Will and the prayers of the people. Thus, it couldn't grow any stronger and over the years, with my disappearance, the people stopped their prayers to me and everyone returned to the common practise of consecrating the Heavens.

"Thus, a new Will of the world began to form.

"My Deva path soul, Asura path soul, Human path soul and Preta path soul, went into the reincarnation cycle and were born into individuals scattered over the land.

"My Beast path soul and my Naraka path soul were in charge of the respective reincarnation cycles of the summon creatures and humans. But after losing their powers, they instead were assimilated into the reincarnation cycles and became an existence similar to a CPU for the cycles and were used to provide processing power for their continued function. Thus, they were unable to extricate themselves.

"But there was a silver lining to this dark cloud… a few scattered people still prayed to Jashin and some worshippers of 'Goddess Kaguya' remained in the world. Their prayers helped in my soul cultivation. If my soul cultivation increased to a certain point, I would be able to save my sons and reconnect myself to my Dao.

"At first, I thought of using my clones in order to promote the worship of Jashin and my Deva path clone. That way I could get free faster.

"But, sadly, Black Zetsu got in the way. Although, he was a part of my first son, but after all that had happened, he had become insane. He firmly believed that my wish was to absorb the chakra of the entire world. He wanted to resurrect me by merging me with the ten tails and himself, turning us into a crazy monster who only wanted to devour energy.

"If he succeeded, not only would my sons' souls be destroyed, it would use the powers of the Shinju to set up The World of Infinite Dreams, drawing in every soul on the plane, including all my clones. Finally, everything would be assimilated into one monster that would know nothing but hunger for energy and would traverse the multiverse devouring worlds.

"Black Zetsu has the power to symbiote on a soul, thus if I let him approach, he will latch onto me and I won't have any means to defeat him. So, black zetsu is my mortal enemy and what is worse, he can sense my soul as I can, his. But, since my soul is stronger, I have managed to avoid him but I was unable to prevent him from manipulating the world in such a way that it would lead to the ten tails being formed.

"What made me the angriest was his manipulation of Hagoromo's descendants in order to recreate the Rinnegan.

"In one of my rebirths, I was born into the Uzumaki clan. I had a fondness for the clan as my first body for my Deva path soul was taken from this clan. I had set up a provision in the reincarnation cycle to let them have similar yin chakra and large chakra pools so they could become the best seal masters and prosper.

"In this reincarnation, in order to speed up the pace of my restoration, I 'invented' the Dead Demon Consuming Seal. It was a suicide move where one could sacrifice his soul to the Shinigami in order to summon him and reap the soul of his opponent.

"In this way, my Naraka path clone could get two souls and digest them to grow stronger and as all six of my clones were linked, all of us would benefit.

"As my Naraka path was weakened, it took around ten years to digest a soul.

"Over the years, I tried my best to disturb black zetsu's plans by using my illusions to become the Daimyo's consorts of the Fire, Wind, Lightning and Earth and manipulated them in such a way that they stayed out of the wars created by zetsu. Water isn't under my control but since the other Daimyo's are silent, they feel embarrassed to move. But they along with the Daimyos of the smaller nations have been getting restless recently due to Zetsu's instigation… specially Hanzo of Rain who has even usurped the Daimyo's position and has become both the Kage of Amegakure and the Daimyo of Rain.

"Without my meddling, things would have devolved to a point where the people used the jinchuuriki to create mass destruction a lot faster.

"Then someone would have gotten the idea to collect the tailed beasts and unlike you, they have no idea of how to permanently merge with them so, sooner or later, all nine would gather and zetsu would strike to gather them up.

"Even though I have delayed everything thus far, I won't be able to delay things long enough to recover fully before zetsu succeeds.

"In fact, he has already controlled Madara Uchiha, a descendant of Hagoromo and implanted the cells of Hashirama Senju in order to recreate the Rinnegan. He is even capable of summoning the sealed body of the Shinju as the Gedo Mazo (Demonic statue of the Outer path).

"Thankfully, summoning the Shinju was a huge burden on Madara and he is on the verge of death and in search of a successor. This is our chance to strike. Your appearance was a godsend for me and broke this crisis.

"What I need you to do is bring a Jashin cultist named Hidan to me. This man is so fanatical in his devotion and has killed and sacrificed so many people that he has started to comprehend scattered amounts of the Naraka path and Death principles, granting him pseudo immortality and the ability to share his injuries with others.

"Because of his close connection to my Naraka Path soul, zetsu was able to sense my presence off him and got interested in him and recruited him. He always keeps tabs on him in the hope of getting some clue about me. Thus, I was never able to approach. But he has no idea that I am alive and that the god that Hidan worships is my clone.

"So, he is interested in him but doesn't care too much. If you defeat him, he will give him up.

"Then I can use my illusion on him to force him to use the Dead Demon Consuming Seal and call upon a projection of my Naraka Path clone to seal my four soul clones into it.

"I already tried this method with an Uzumaki but their souls, actually in their case the yin chakra quantity, wasn't enough to summon a projection of the Naraka path clone which was strong enough to draw in my soul.

"Hidan's soul might not be strong but due to the principle resonance, the summoned projection will be able to draw in all four of my soul clones that are still on this plane.

"After that, within ten years, my Naraka path clone will digest my other clones and become strong enough to gain some independence from the reincarnation cycle and absorb the Beast path clone.

"Then, I'll be strong enough to untie the seal on my Dao.

"Within this ten years, you will have to thwart zetsu and since you are after the tailed beasts anyway, you would have inevitably conflicted.

"In return for this, as per your condition, I can tell you the location of the remaining tailed beasts and comprehensive information about their jinchuuriki. That's what you took over Suna for, wasn't it?

"Now that I have informed you of my situation, what other two conditions do you want for helping me?"
