Fishie!

I looked up at the moon of this world. One that was created artificially by two people using a sealing jutsu and then I looked at the storage seal Shizune delivered food to me in.

'Is it really possible to create such a large thing for a human?'

'If Hashirama could destroy an entire mountain range, would the Sage of Six Paths be able to destroy an entire moon?

I had no idea how the power level of this world worked but what Tsuande had told me stuck in my mind.

'A new realm.'

Each Kage was a person who had mastered a new realm, not just opened a gate to it but mastered it fully.

This was the same concept the King Maker of Haramark explained to Seol Jihu while training him to become a high ranker.

A true high ranker was a title given to a person who opened the gates to a new realm. And a Unique Ranker, which was even rarer, was a person who had mastered their new realm and turned it into a sharp weapon.

'So would a Level 7 Unique Ranker qualify as a Kage level shinobi in this world?'

Looking at the advanced mathematics book in front of me, I quickly left behind my thoughts and began to read the book to understand the rules of magic better.

'I don't know how far I will truly be able to go with combining magic with jutsus but I have a feeling that this is what my path will look like, this is how I will become a unique ranker.'

The rest of the seven days were a blur, I practised the basic academy jutsu during the morning while using them against Shizune in spars so that I could use them freely.

Shizune didn't have to teach me the basic academy jutsu but she felt that it was better for me to learn the three basic jutsu just so that I could stand proud when I proclaimed to be her disciple.

The academy jutsu weren't difficult and were all a more complex application of the simple transformation technique.

The first one was the transformation jutsu which used chakra to change your appearance.

The clone jutsu was the same as the transformation jutsu but just pushed out of your body.

The substitution jutsu was just the transformation technique applied to a log so that it could be used as a 'solid' replacement for you since a simple clone jutsu would be broken immediately since the enemy's weapons would go right through you.

Shizune's punch flew towards me as I activated my innate ability to study her attacks.

Within a few moments, I'd already used the substitution jutsu along with the body flicker jutsu to arrive behind her while she punched the tree log that was transformed to appear like me in front of her.

Being mid-swing, Shizune's arm was fully extended and it gave me the opportunity to take advantage of her open stance.

I stepped close to her and with a simple bend of my knees to lower my centre of mass, I kicked her leg so that I could throw her over my shoulder.

Except I hadn't realised how or even when, Shizune's leg wrapped around my neck and I was on the ground being choked as she tightened her hold around me.

"I give up~!! Give up!!!" I shouted tapping Shizune's legs as she finally released me with a smile.

"Good job using the substitution jutsu to get out of my sight and try to sneak attack me. But your follow-up should've been an attack from my blind spot, not an attempt to throw me over your shoulder."

"Bah! I know if I attacked you from your blind spot you'd have just told me I should've done something unexpected since that was too by the book and expected."

"Then you should've done something unexpected, not stupid. Come on, let's go and finish with your new healing jutsu, this one will allow you to control the organs of your patient to resuscitate them."

I rolled my eyes and entered the inn along with Shizune, walking back to my room where Shizune cleared my table and placed on it a large scroll with several seals drawn on it in a circular manner.

She then unsealed a fish from one of her storage scrolls and placed it in the centre of one of such seals.

"Now pay attention carefully to what I do. The jutsu is simple to execute but complicated to control. It is called, Yang Release: Body Control Jutsu."

"I understand." I nodded after which Shizune showed me the correct hand seals and explained the appropriate pathways I had to move my chakra through inside my body to activate the jutsu.

Shizune did everything once again but quicker this time, causing a greenish aura to appear around her palms.

She then placed her hands over the fish's gills and directed the green aura around her palms into the fish. It took a few seconds but soon after, the fish was flopping around the table and jumping like it was alive.

"That's it.", Shizune said lifting the fish and tossing it into a bucket filled with water.

"It came alive? How!?" I asked with surprise.

"I re-started its heart. And that's what you have to do."

I nodded with a little apprehension but arrived in front of the desk either way.

"What's the use of the seal on the table?" I asked since Shizune hadn't ever really explained what it did.

"It's to make things easier for you. As long as you're within the circle drawn by the seals you'll be able to control your chakra easier. And it'll keep the fish fresh too so that it can be revived." Shizune casually explained before giving way for me to try out the jutsu with a new fish she pulled out of her storage scroll.

I got ready and performed the jutsu quickly.

It took me a few tries to get it right, but with Shizune's detailed explanation, I got it right relatively easily and soon my hands were covered in a greenish hue.

I brought them over the fish and as soon as the greenish hue entered the fish, I could feel exactly how its body was structured.

"The jutsu is helpful not only to restart a heart but also during surgeries when you want organs and various blood vessels to stay in their position or move them around to access things behind them easier."

I nodded and could see why it'd be useful since as I manipulated the greenish hue that had entered the body of the dead fish, I could feel it sticking around the various cells and dragging them along with it.

I controlled the aura, and slowly brought it towards the heart, it took a while but I slowly began pumping the heart.

"Don't worry about it taking a while. It took me some time to learn the right rhythm too. I'll be in my room preparing dinner, so in case you need help you know where to find me." Shizune explained and left after giving me the storage scroll with more fish in it for me to practice.

And so days began to quickly pass as I worked hard to master Yang Release: Body Control Jutsu.

At first, I was skeptical about the use of this jutsu but as I got proficient at it, I slowly began to realise just how much control was actually possible.

What shocked me the most was when Tsunade performed the jutsu for me to keep me motivated, she used a single finger and with barely a touch, she was able to revive the fish.

It took me nearly all week and I was barely able to revive my fish after three hours of continuous efforts in getting its heart pumping.
