[SIX YEARS LATER]

Finally, the last days of my contract with the feudal lord were coming to an end, which meant that I would soon return to Konoha, a place I once thought fictional and that I now saw as my home, during these six years, many things had changed, for starters, I was no longer a child, my body had grown giving me a more masculine demeanor. My strength had also grown, my level not so much.

It was quite difficult to level up next to the feudal lord since very few enemies decided to attack him, and those who did were not usually strong, which had made my leveling go considerably slower. But, leveling was only one of the many ways to increase my strength, and that's why I dedicated myself to training during all that time, increasing my stats in the process.

I had also leveled my professions to the highest level, and thanks to that I now had armor far superior to what I had once crafted. In short, my time with the feudal lord had been productive for the most part.

I really couldn't complain, the only bad thing about this mission was that it was boring, full of silence... and this sometimes made me remember everything I had done, the silence was not good... the memories of those I had killed without hesitation... they overwhelmed me when I had no way to shut them up.

The weekly letters with Tsunade helped, but they were not the same. Sometimes I wondered how I could feel nothing, and at the same time feel remorse for my actions. The whole situation was so inconsistent it didn't make sense. But, that was the funny thing, wasn't it? After all, madness never made any sense.

Changing the subject, apart from my internal conflicts, everything else was fine, the feudal lord was quite decent, breaking my preconceived expectations of him when I first arrived six years ago, Taderi Hideyori, also known as the feudal lord, was a kind old man who loved to play board games with me and his son Toyotomi Hideyori every Sunday.

Toyotomi Hideyori, was for lack of a better word, very innocent even though he was only two years younger than me, his vision of the world was rosy, his uncomplicated life had made him blind to the situation outside his privileged bubble, but apart from all that, the young man was a good person. Who would suffer from manipulation for the rest of his life, unlike his father, who despite not being a shinobi, was quite perceptive.

But despite his painful innocence, Toyotomi Hideyori was my friend, not a friend I could tell anything to, but someone I didn't mind spending time with. For most of my stay, he had tried to convince me to stay, saying that most of the bodyguards his father had didn't understand him. It took me a few years to get this idea out of his head, telling him that like him, I had responsibilities to attend to in the village. He agreed with a strange-looking smile, saying that I was to write to him from time to time, that even though he was to be my feudal lord, he was my friend.

Speaking of letters, my ravens were strange. Their behavior changed, showing a variety of personalities that stemmed from my original world, and they had no idea. Yoda, Nick Fury, and the power rangers were just a few of the many references to my original world.

To them, each personality was unique and new, at least that's what they told me, but over time this stopped mattering to me and I learned to accept it without questioning why. The point was after all that thanks to them I could now use crow clones, to add more badassery to my ever-growing list of abilities.

"Raiden, you're leaving next month right?" One of my comrades asked, giving me a small smile. His name, Mokori. One of the twelve guardian ninja, and the one who had welcomed me six years ago.

"Yes, I already got what I wanted," With a smile, I pointed to the particular ninja sash hanging from my waist. A proof I had belonged to the order.

"Hahaha, I'm going to miss you," Mokori laughed, resuming his path to the kitchen.

The twelve guardians were powerful... and at the same time, weak. It was strange, but something I didn't particularly care much for, with a sigh, I walked to my room to continue my packing, happy that I would soon be out of this prison, that I would soon be at the barbecue Tsunade was going to invite me to, in celebration of my return to the village.

[Danzo POV]

[Mission Report Summary - Raiden]

1 - Year

---No incidents, the Feudal Lord, and his family traveled all over Konoha, beyond bandit attacks, nothing out of the ordinary, except maybe… a presence, I constantly feel I am being watched, will report back once I find more answers.

2 - Year

---No incidents and nothing worth mentioning, the feeling I once had of being observed stopped after a while, in precaution I had set my Ravens to scout the area twenty-four-seven, one can never be too careful.

3 - Year

---Once again nothing, as you can see on my monthly reports my ravens also found nothing, perhaps it was only my paranoia attacking.

4 - Year

---A squad of rogue ninja tried to attack the Feudal Lord or rather were planning to do so when I caught them, shortly after a very thorough interrogation, I killed them, they had no contractor or solid motive beyond the fact they wanted the money the Feudal family has.

5 - Year

---Once again, we return to normal. Nothing.

6 - Year

---Nothing, once again, well… I suppose me going back to Konoha counts like something, nonetheless, as of now, the Feudal Family is well, and until my last day, I will make sure it stays that way.

"Let's see how much have you grown… Raiden," The time to turn him into the shadow that Tobirama sensei envisioned had come.
