Kumo Shinobi were prepared for the ambush as their sensor had already sensed the pirates but they weren't able to sense the Hozuki clan members who were underwater.

The Kumo Shinobi were greatly outnumbered. There were three jonins and twelve chunins that were protecting the merchant while there were three pirate ships with 30 Shinobi and 30 non Shinobi on board on each of them. That meant a total of 90 Shinobi pirates.

"This Kumo merchant sure is rich to have hired three jonins and twelve chunins for a simple escort mission. But looks like even this much safety is useless against so many numbers." Hiromi said looking at the situation as the Kumo Shinobi defended against the onslaught of ninjutsu on the ship.

"Not really, Kumo might have sent the extra teams to escort us rather than the merchants

The pirates on the other hand are mostly genin and chunin and there are only 5 jonins. Their chakra levels are too low for their level. They are most likely not from the hidden mist but are most likely hired mercenaries and criminals." Genkai said as he let out a sigh.

He continued "This makes sense. Mist wouldn't be risking themselves by sending this many Shinobi just after the kage summit where the topic was to achieve peace in the Shinobi world. Sending almost a hundred Shinobi outside of the land of water would surely raise a lot of questions. If Lord Hokage came to know about that, he would have surely been furious."

"Wait if they are hired pirates, they surely would have a lot of treasures, stolen money and goods. What are we waiting for? Let's get rid of them before Kumo gets rid of them which would make all the loot theirs." Yoriichi said excitedly as he literally had dollar signs in his eyes.

"Be patient. Our time would come." Genkai said before focusing on the battle.

The Kumo Shinobi used different defensive jutsu to protect the ship from the enemy ninjutsu.

Kumo Shinobi were about to go offensive but a scream erupted from their backline as one of their chunin was stabbed in his heart by a water tentacle.

The water turned to show a face of a man before he disappeared back into the water.

"Hozuki clan! This is the work of those watery bastards from the mist. Be careful of the water around you. Use lightning jutsu to kill them. It's the weakness of their water form." One of the jonins shouted as he informed his other companions about the enemy weaknesses.

But even with that Kumo was losing, their chakra and stamina were not able to keep up with so many of the shinobi.

They lost another two chunins before Genkai decided they have seen and waited enough.

"Alright, It's time to move in."

"Yoriichi, you would be dealing with the ship on the right. I would be dealing with the other two. Hisame summon your sharks and deal with the Hozuki clan members. Hiromi, You would be supporting the Kumo Shinobi." Genkai said quickly but before he was about to body flicker to the enemy ship, he was stopped by Yoriichi.

"Sensei don't destroy the ships please. What if the goods and money get destroyed?" Yoriichi said before he flickered to his target excited to steal from them. If the Kumo Shinobi knew that the kid considered money more important than their lives, they would surely die from anger.

Yoriichi ran on water where everyone could see him.

One of the Hozuki clan member who was watching the entire operation saw them. He noticed the kid as an Uzumaki thanks to his red hair.

After taking a closer look at Yoriichi's face, the Hozuki clan member went pale.

"Fu*ckkk! That's the demon swordsman of Uzu. One of the two people that we were told to steer clear from and not to engage." The Hozuki clan member cursed.

His scared look turned to a determined look as he had a thought 'What if we get the Uzukage's grandson as a hostage? We could get more than just one level four Fuinjutsu masters. We could extort jutsus, sealing formula and many more things from Uzushiogakure. I would also be able to take my revenge for Kengetsu's death.'

With that thought, the determined Hozuki member rushed to the pirate ship where Yoriichi was heading to.

Yoriichi reached the ship first and before any warning he went after those who were tossing ninjutsus since they were most likely the ones who would be damaging the ship.

'Water breathing: Third form: Flowing Dance'

Muramasa had water flowing from it as Yoriichi danced around slicing the pirates heads in an elegant manner.

The chunins and the Jonin used fire style Jutsu to attack Yoriichi.

'Are these guys STUPID or what? They are going to burn their own ship and with that my money. Screw holding back.' Yoriichi's eyes turned yellow as he created several black rods which were minimised and launched them to all the pirates on board not even sparing the civilians.

Everyone was impaled with black rods. No one was able to realise when they died. They all looked shocked seeing their life coming to such an abrupt end.

This was the scene that greeted the determined Hozuki clan member who was not so determined anymore witnessing what just happened.

"He killed all of them?What are these black rods? Is that a fuc*king Dojutsu? I need to report it to the Mizukage." Even though the Hozuki member was scared he was sure that he would be able to escape through sea after turning into water.

He turned his body into water and turned away to run. He heard a chirping sound before he felt emptiness in his chest.

He looked down at his chest to see a hand covered with lightning crushing the water where his heart is supposed to be.

'Truly a demon' That was his last thought before everything turned into nothingness for him.
