Nick felt the surge of excitement coursing through the crowd as he hurried toward the forest's edge, carried along by the throng's energy.

Amongst the cheers and jubilation, a blond teenager was thrown into the air, a splash of vivid color against the backdrop of cheering spectators.

"Blond hair, orange jumpsuit, and whiskers on the face. That's unmistakably Naruto... But why doesn't he look Japanese?" Nick murmured to himself, a perplexed frown creasing his brow.

A sudden realization struck him. "Wait... how am I understanding and even speaking Japanese? The only Japanese words I know should be 'Yamate kudasai' and 'baka'."

A ninja materialized before him, engaging in conversation with a ponytailed figure further ahead.

"An emergency council has been called. As a Jonin Squad Leader, your presence is required at the palace of lords, Lord Shikaku," the ninja relayed.

"Shikaku? Who's that?" Nick's curiosity piqued, his mind racing with questions.

Then, as if on cue, a prompt appeared before him.

*Ding*

"Welcome to the Ninja System, host."

"Would you like to start the tutorial?" the prompt inquired.

Nick eyed the prompt warily, a mix of confusion and intrigue swirling within him. He tentatively reached out, only for his hand to pass through the holographic display.

"Ah, yes?" he responded, uncertain.

"In this world, you'll navigate through mysterious lands, encountering challenges and uncovering secrets. Let's start with the basics: movement.

Nick scoffed inwardly. "This is the tutorial? It sounds trivial. I was hoping for some monsters or something. Damn. Can the system respond?" His voice echoed into the void, met with silence.

"So this isn't one of those stupid AIs that acts like a little girl. Good," he mused, a wry smile playing on his lips.

"Wow! This should help me a lot. Based on what I'm wearing, I should be a ninja. Flak Vest and..." He reached up to touch his head. "A durag? Seriously? You ninjas throw flames and wield swords, and you decide the best protection is to wear a durag?"

He chuckled, removing the durag and stashing it in his pocket.

"According to the Naruto reels I've watched on my phone, the strongest Jutsus should be Rasengan, the Electric hand thingy, and Shadow clones. I hope at least I'll get one of them. I mean, it's a Ninja system after all, but if my luck's crap, then I'm good with spitting fireball."

The Gacha roulette spun, anticipation building within him as he waited to see what new powers he would obtain.
