AN: From this chapter onwards, I will use first person POV for Esdeath.

Philosophy talks with a Nine tailed Fox

"Pardon my curiosity, mighty being, I am Esdeath, the former general of the empire. As far as I could remember, I died in a fight and after staying in a dark place for a long time I found myself here. May I ask you, who are you and how did you get trapped into that cage ?"

I knelt down and spoke with utmost respect.

I have delt with royalty and nobility in my past life. Before I was appointed as an army general I was taught the proper etiquette. How to talk, how to eat, how to walk, everything was taught to her. While I didn't truly respect any of those snot nosed nobles, for the sake of the formality I did everything necessary. But now in front of a truly powerful being, I didn't feel ashamed to kneel. At that moment, my instincts are screaming at me pointing the threat possessed by the in front of me. He is majestic. I know that, even if I go all out, I would never able to kill him. That alone has earned him all of my respect.... and love. Honestly I didn't care if dubbing in front of me is not a human. He is the embodiment of power.

"Earning my name isn't easy. You have to prove yourself to me in order to earn my name. But before I answer your second question, you have to answer mine first." The fox's voice was deep and oppressing. It sent tingles down my spine. But that sensation was also arousing me. I wouldn't dodge this time if he tries to kill him. Compared to how I died earlier, this death will be hundred times better.

Kurama was a loss for words. He didn't know why he was entertaining the human in the first place.

But calming himself down, he thought about the situation carefully. This could potentially provide him with a very good sour of entertainment for a long time.

It was that of a beast. Most of the shinobi, even Hashirama or Madara, gave out an aura of a killer. But the woman in front of him well giving a feeling of a hunter beast searching for preys.

Then kurama considered her words very carefully. "The former general of the empire" As far as he knows, the elemental Nations were the biggest pieces of lands on the planet. The poles are unhabitated. And the other small Islands didn't have that advanced society or larger population. At least that was the case 80 years ago. After he was sealed, he didn't get any chance to visit any other land on the planet. And obviously when these stupid humans are too busy in fighting among themselves he wouldn't get any news through his host as well.

So the question is where the hell did this Empire came from ?

Unless it is in another world.

And then there is also another important thing to consider. The woman's aura and intent has yet to connect themselves to her chakra. From the intents alone, she can rival Madara. She didn't have much haterate in her. Infact Kurama barely felt any haterate from her. She didn't have any malevolent intentions. Instead she has more primal desires that of an animal. An unhealthy amount of lust and hunger.

This kind of feeling was different from what Kurama usually feels from humans.

Which made him very serious. So after considering for a while he decided to engage in conversation with the woman infront of him.

"Earning my name isn't easy. You have to prove yourself to me in order to earn my name. But before I answer your second question, you have to answer mine first."

But he regretted it the very next moment.

"As you wish my love...."

"If you dare call me love again, then I will kill you !" Kurama roared. Again he regretted it very quickly.

"Do as you please ! You are strong... My body is all yours."

Kurama cringed and cursed inwardly.

'What the fuck with this crazy bitch ! Why the hell, she is acting so submissive ! No I must ignore her. This is the only way out of my misery.'

"Tell me about your life before your death. Tell me in details." Kurama told Esdeath.

Kurama didn't know how much time has passed. But a long time must have passed since he started a conversation with the crazy blue haired woman infront of him.

The conversation didn't feel like, he has been talking with a human. It was more like a philosophical talk between two beasts.

Esdeath was the woman's previous name. He didn't know what name those monkeys have given her in this life and wheather she will accept it or not. But that matter aside, Esdeath's view on life with rather simplistic.

Survival of the fittest.

The strong will live and the weak dies.

Although, she was the worst human he has ever met, even worse than Madara, Kurama couldn't help but somewhat agree with that kind of view on life.

Even with his immense strength, he has three weakness. And he was suffering because of those three weakness. Mangekyo Sharingan, Wood style and Ademantite sealing chains. Although, the later two were more like annoyances to him.

If not for him being desoriented due to the prolonged effects of mangekyo Sharingan and then combining effort of Hashirama and Mito, he would never have been sealed.

The second time was the same. Those damned Sharingan mess with his head every time fell under those damned genjutsu, he was left disoriented for a next few minutes.

But getting back from his thoughts, he returned his attention to the crazy woman infront of him.
