Third shinobi World War III

A Day had passed since Ayato and his team returned to camp, It was a normal day aside from the misty rainfall.

The last skirmish had caused incredible losses to both Kumo and konoha forces, Kumo lost 60 soldiers while konoha lost 40 soldiers. So now, less than 110 people were in the North western camp of konoha.

Ayato was sleeping in the main tent, reading a book when the commander of the camp came up to him, the same one that suggested him to wear a blindfold.

"Congratulations Ayato." He said to the boy, Ayato looked up from the book with a confused look.

"What for? Sir." He asked confused, the commander pulled out a chunin vest.

"For your merits yesterday, you have been promoted to chunin, as of now you are just a low chunin, so, don't let it get over your head." The jounin offered a vest which Ayato humbly accepted.

"Thank you sir." Ayato said.

"It is my pleasure."

A month slowly passed in the North Eastern camp.

Ayato and the others were having a pretty peaceful month in the camp until an immediate call for a team of chunin was issued in the camp by the commander.

A team of 15 chunin were called to investigate a supply route for the nearby Kumo camp and hopefully intercept the supplier till the Kumo camp was taken care of, This mission could take anywhere from a single month to a year. And sadly Ayato was also a part of this mission.

This mission was named "Mission sept" Since sept means 7 and the territory of south western camp of kumo and the north eastern camp of konoha is named "The 7th warzone" Currently in the war. The purpose of the mission is to cut the supply route of the South western Kumo camp and for konoha to take control of The 7th warzone.

The mission was lead by three jounin with 5 chunin each under their team division. The jounin's were Kazuma- Who had Ayato under his team-, A random Jounin named Houken and another jounin named Seiko.

The mission had officially began at the crack of dawn the next day, Ayato and the others arrived right in time to the assigned ward in the camp to revive orders and make plans for cutting the supply route.

"The teams should be divided into three groups, Group 1 lead by Houken, Group 2 lead by kazuma and Group 3 lead by Seiko, Each group will have Atleast 5 chunin in them, Any problems for you all?" The jounin commander asked, The missionaries all answered with a collective No sir!

"Look at this map carefully, each team leader will have a copy of this at hand." The jounin commander showed a map, it had a few routes highlighted by different colours and a numerical representation for each of them from 1 to 7.

"This is a map of the entire north western border of konoha and a few regions of of kumo, The Kumo camp is here and our camp is right here." The commander showed two different points in the map, one with the konoha symbol, and another with the Kumo symbol representing each of Thier camps, the konoha symbol was in a green region while the Kumo region was in a grey/white region in the map, the middle or warzone of the two villages was highlighted in a light green highlight.

"The 7 paths here are the paths where The action will be taken, Paths 2,3 and 7 are extremely dangerous with high patrol of shinobi and guards, 4 is the main supply route of the Kumogakure camp, 5 is the travel route of shinobi from Kumogakure to the camp, be careful to not get spotted around here and lastly paths 1 and 6 are the secondary supply routes of the Kumogakure camps that branch out at a point in path 4 and meet again at path 4, " The commander showed and explained each of the paths with great detail with all the shinobi listening very carefully.

"These are the paths you must be careful with, now on to the paths you are assigned to complete this mission." The commander pulled out a thick marker and proceeded to draw three dotted lines from different points to a singular point.

"Listen carefully to this next bit." The commander said to all of the present shinobi who nodded.

"The three lines all cut paths 4, 2 and 3. You three teams need to destroy a large area in path 4 right ahead of the branching point of path 1 and 6, When the area is destroyed, install a trap in paths 1 and 6 so that all the merchants that travel in those paths will be forced to go to paths 1 and 6, Team 1 and team 3 will guard these paths and prevent any merchants from going to the Kumo camp, team 2 will be responsible to disguise as the merchants and take a large amount of Explosives to the camp and destroy it." The commander looked at each of the shinobi in the eye and handed out the other jounins a scroll with a more detailed explanation of the mission.
