Chapter 104

Hizashi, hailing from a wealthy family, boasted an impressive family fortune, even as the head of a branch branch. His family's riches were truly exceptional.

The quality of food was one thing, its expensiveness and exclusivity were another. As a commoner, Takeshi started almost salivating at the unique dishes he will get in Hyuga clan.

"Well, see you later," Hizashi said quickly, disappearing from Takeshi's sight with his incredible speed, even surpassing average Jonin speeds. Takeshi tried to sense Hizashi's presence, but he vanished in an instant.

The Byakugan's capabilities were truly unbelievable in this regard. Takeshi let out a slight sigh, relieved that Jiraiya didn't possess the Byakugan. If he did, it would have been a disaster for whole female gender.

'Hey, my points are almost around 9,000. ', As he wandered around, he checked the panel and found that his points were almost about 1000 points away from reaching 10,000 – a milestone he had been close to achieving earlier, but had failed to notice.

This realization was a result of changing to the Ninja cat food and special cat food, rather than luxury cat food. But their benefits couldn't be denied.

Finding scents wasn't particularly challenging, especially with his keen sense of scent and perception abilities. However, dealing with these tasks had become quite monotonous.

But at that moment, his fur stood on end, signaling an impending crisis. There were enemies nearby!

Takeshi's muscles tensed up, and he decided to surprise the enemy of Sunagakure as quickly as he could.

He found a tree to hide behind and waited. A few seconds later, a puppet emerged from underneath.

Takeshi could distinctly feel the killing intent drawing closer and sense the direction of the chakra. 

So, when the puppet was about to approach, he suddenly jumped to the side, using his chakra to amplify the force of the jump. Blowing away dirt and stones below him.

In the next second, Takeshi took couple steps back and suddenly spat out a jet of water. The jet pushed through rocks, and pierced through trees, blasting towards the source of the chakra. The destructive power was immense and its speed immediate, barely giving enemy time to react.

The next moment, an enemy appeared after throwing smoke bomb on the ground. It was a puppet master, controlling a puppet using tiny chakra threads in his hand.

"Meow!" The next second, Takeshi shouted and moved away from the area, sensing poison gas! 

Fortunately, he had detected the danger in advance, otherwise, he might have been poisoned by now.

Takeshi grinded his teeth, regretting not being more aggressive in his first attack. However, he only felt regret for less than a second before another plan occurred to him. 

He could strike remotely, targeting the puppet master directly. To avoid hidden poisons and weapons, he would employ a needle Jizo for added protection.

Just as he thought of it, the puppet master hastily retreated, having no intention of fighting in close combat.

While Takeshi didn't chase him, however, in the next moment, one of his front paws grew rapidly, extending to dozens of feet in an instant. With his eyes glowing the darkness, thick black fur and shining claws, made a terrifying scene.

The most frightening aspect was that under the cat's claws, a stream of chakra quickly condensed and took shape, forming a massive chakra ball. 

'Rasengan!'

"I-I..." The puppeteer was terrified. 'Why does a cat know rasengan?'

The puppeteer pulled all his puppet in front of his, as he wanted to make puppets self destruct to block the attack and injure the enemy, but the cat fur had grown out, restraining and throwing the puppets away.

At that moment, the Suna's ninja felt regretful. 'Why did I take this mission? If only that bitch hadn't emptied my savings! Why does a damn civilian women need 'Cosmetics- Kunoichi edition'?! In next life I am not marrying aga-!' He was only halfway through his thoughts when the giant paw holding the massive Rasengan had already engulfed him.

Massive Rasengan created a whirlwind around him pulling him closer to center, the puppet master couldn't escape at all, and was directly mashed into bits, with his remains laying on the ground.

Takeshi cancelled the effects of his mult-size jutsu and put a pack of special cat food into his mouth to restore his stamina and chakra, until his chakra is atleast above 70% and he would not feel at ease especially during mission.

'My chakra quantity still too small, hopefully it will grow faster due to higher quality food.' After sitting there for awhile, Takeshi waited for the poisonous fog to dissipate. Then he carefully walked around and walked to the big pit caused by his attack, taking a look down.

'Good man, as far as graves go, this is not bad one, for my enemies, Ofcourse!' Seeing that the enemy had contributed more than 1000 points and allowed him to break through the 10,000 mark, made Takeshi grateful for his contribution and sacrifice.

In some ways, his death was much more comfortable than that of his comrades. At least there is no need to worry about being tortured, or having the memories read by the Yamanaka clan, their minds won't be safe even after death. etc. 

Takeshi glanced at the remains, and then continued to wander. Not long after, he smelled the scent of Hizashi. After a few seconds, Hizashi was standing on the tree nearby, asked: "You're looking for me?"

"No, I'm still wandering around, you just happened to be close by, meow ~" Takeshi swished through the forest and arrived at his side soon.

Hizashi was silent for a second or two. He rolled his eyes for a moment and then said, "You're lost, aren't you?"

'Lost? How could I the Great Overlord Cat-sama be lost!... Sadly, that seems to be the reality'. Takeshi wanted to quibble, but when he thought about it carefully, he was just wandering around, and he was lucky in meeting with Hizashi rather than enemy team ambushing him.

"Meow~ I think there may be enemies here."

"Haha, the enemies have already retreated, we can return." After saying that, Hizashi rushed behind a tree and took out something from there.

A comatose ninja. This is the ninja who smelled of the puppet scent they were chasing before. While enemy ninja's puppetry might've been great, but he still lost against the Byakugan.

Wait, why am I telling you this?" Hizashi couldn't help but sigh in the middle of his words. No matter how smart a cat is, how could a cat understand nuances of this?

"Meow!" Takeshi yelled, jumped up, and slapped his hand with a paw. This speed was comparable to the hand speed of the Hyuga clan when tapping chakra points in the body.

'If that's what you want, let's do this!' Hizashi tried to keep his face neutral, his lips couldn't stop twitching.

He immediately tried to poke back. 

And so a Hyuga and cat started playing with eachother.
