Four Weeks Later

"I think I'm about ready to leave this forest," I say, my voice tinged with excitement.

It's been four weeks since I arrived in this world, and I have to say, it's been incredibly productive. The forest has witnessed many battles during this time, and from scavenging the remains, I've managed to build up quite the stash of weapons. Sure, most of the kunai and shuriken in good condition were taken by the victors of the battles, but they always leave behind a few that are still usable. Every once in a while, I even find a couple of explosion tags that haven't, well... exploded. I'm not sure how to use them yet, but I figure I should stock up in case I learn how one day.

Aside from scavenging, I've also made massive improvements in my skills. My kunai and shuriken techniques have improved the least, though. That might be because I only spent about an hour a day training with them, which is pathetic compared to the time I dedicated to my other abilities.

My physical strength and speed, however, have far surpassed anything I was capable of in my old world. I can now bench press a boulder the size of a house and am faster than most of the regular beasts in the forest. Still, I'm far from the fastest or the strongest. Some of the animals in this world seem to be empowered as well, so it's not just the humans who have abilities.

What I'm most proud of, though, is my chakra control. I've already completed all the chakra control exercises from the show, like Tree Walking and Water Walking. I even found a small waterfall and completed the Waterfall Walking exercise. Now, I've started creating my own exercises to improve my control even further. One of them involves gathering a pile of dirt and trying to sift through it, separating it until it becomes dust.

As for my hair Kekkei Genkai, I remembered a few jutsu that Jiraiya used in the anime and attempted to replicate them. One of them is the Lion's Mane, a full-body shield that's impervious to regular weapons. Another is the jutsu where he shoots his hair out like needles. Honestly, it was surprisingly easy. I couldn't recall the hand signs—or if there were any—but with my perfect control over my hair and decent chakra control, I was able to replicate it effortlessly.

I've also created a few techniques of my own. One of them is the Hair Whip, which is simple but highly effective. I harden and sharpen my hair using chakra and send it out like a whip. I can already slice through multiple trees with it. Another jutsu I've developed is something I call the Field of Death. I spread my hair into thin strands and feel for any disturbances. It doesn't quite live up to its name yet, as all I can do effectively right now is sense movement, but I'm hopeful it will evolve. At the moment, I can only cover about five meters with it, though I'm determined to improve.

"Yep, it's time to get out of this forest," I say with a smile, though a hint of trepidation lingers in my chest. I pack up my best weapons, food, water, and extra clothes before heading out.

"I'm so glad I no longer have to wear leaves," I add with a grin.
